the only thing interesting for me here is to find out what OP were thinking to himself when he shared this article! or better yet how in the world he found the most random and the most useless article on the internet about bitcoin. because that needs a talent to find something that is nowhere to be found like search engines!

Bitcoin is bothering many people, that is good... Things are going very well for Bitcoin enthusiasts, so be prepared, fake news will launch a new attack wave against the virtual currency, that is what their sponsors want, so that is what they do.

The way I read the articles was a waste of time honestly speaking, bitcoin was very meant to many of the bitcoin community in this field of industry. Besides not all report in the social media, websites, television, and radio are accurate or precise sometimes they twist their report for the sake of money, that's the reality happen.

That article took away 2 minutes of my precious time, which can never be brought back. Michael Nunez should be sued for writing such utter crap. never expected such an article to appear in a reliable tech news site such as Gizmodo. Although I am not one of their regular readers, I visit that site sometimes to get up to date information about electronics and mobile apps. This is the first time I am seeing such a distasteful article there.
Gizmodo is no longer reliable source of information. They had episodes when they published utter crap before.
This so called 'tech magazine' is nothing more but propaganda channel for corporations and tech-related establishment.
They often use their articles as form of advertisement rather than presenting the truth.

In future I would only share links from more legitimate news networks - this is just clickbait, and we're making them money.  But you're right, this is pretty stupid.  Particularly the assertion that financial experts have abandoned Bitcoin - they cite no sources for the claim so the only evidence in the article that could be related to that is the fact that Bitcoin has reached an ATH.

To be fair though, this thread just generates loads of responses talking about how stupid the article is which makes some people think everyone who says Bitcoin should die are just stupid, whereas there are some reasonable arguments for this e.g. the inability of developers to update the block size / expensive transactions etc.

a few years ago there were threads telling that bitcoin is dying, but it survives until now. and there is such thread, but in article form, telling us the same thing. I think it would be the same as few years ago. bitcoin doesn't die yet, it just faces hard time.

I could say that everyone is free to express his opinion but clearly this is a classic example of 'click-bait' article. It is not accidental that this kind of articles are a great 'scourge' of the internet. I found very informative to find the roots of this term where searching the net I found an article about Taboola a hitech digital advertising company which founded in Israel by Adam Singolda, who served for 7 years, as an officer of the elite cryptography unit of the Israeli army. The Gizmodo's reporter like many others found a very catchy title and the rest of the article is a conglomeration of crap words because is well known that there is not good or bad publicity.

This is pure ignorance and lack of understanding of the times. Bitcoin has proven time and time again to be the most formidable cryptocurrency out there but the doomsayers are just not going to research before putting out blatant lies and speculation out there.

Bitcoin will not die because it has a great supportive community and also it has a lot of investors that are sustaining the bitcoin price and also a lot of miners who sustains the bitcoin network. I think bitcoin will die after 10 to 20 years because of some issues but now? Nope, bitcoin will not and bitcoin will stay for more years.

According to this fucking moron reporter over at gizmodo.  Roll Eyes

~?utm_campaign=socialflow_gizmodo_twitter&utm_source=gizmodo_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow

you do realize that you are knowingly or unknowingly advertising this crappy article and are generating traffic for it?
and what are all these html tags that you have added after the link? is it your own site? and what is the point of sharing a useless unknown article here to mis-direct people's attention to?
Grin Interesting.
After reading your post, I tried reaching the site/article via this link http://gizmodo.com/bitcoin-all-time-high-1792712406?
(removing all the tags you've mentioned), and it does link me to the very same article.
Wonder what all those tags were for Huh

I better read up on links and such. Just in case.
Anyway, whatever tricks they play, it's still a trash article.  Roll Eyes Doing anything and everything for traffic.  Embarrassed

I have such a huge amount of hate towards these idiotic news websites. They just continuously spew out garbage and the worst part is that a lot of people actually believe the bullshit they write. Like why the hell should Bitcoin already be dead? The writer of the article clearly has a minuscule brain for him to write such a stupid article. But this article, along with others stating how Bitcoin has already died, aren't a surprise to anyone who has used Bitcoin for a decently long time. With time comes the realisation that there will always be haters, but with Bitcoin, you just have idiots who don't know a thing about Bitcoin and just spread the word about how bad it is.
Yeah well, it isn't so bad for us since we already know enough to ignore garbage such as these. Just a shame, same could not be said for those curious would-be users/those reading up trying to learn about bitcoin.

Crap article! I wasted few minutes of my life reading this!! But this kind of negative marketing is very useful for news sites as it grabs a lot of attention just as this article does. People are getting in to the website to read this article and they are enjoying the free publicity from Bitcointalk forum.

Nice marketing strategy!

I just wasted 3 minutes reading that crappy article.  Grin

Quote
Bitcoin Refuses to Just Die Already
Such an ugly title. Content is worthless. Nothing but a deliberate attempt by author to grab attention by intentionally using a sensational title.
It's all just, "according to blah blah blah", "blah blah reported", and then some unnamed "financial experts blah blah blah".

Just another trashy 'news site'.  Shocked

Probably the writer of the article is a supporter of an altcoin and wanted to promote it by starting on spreading FUD to Bitcoin.  But somehow at the current state of Bitcoin, writer have point though it is a biased comparison when a robust transaction is compared to a minimal one.  As long as developer is working and keep on thinking for the possible upgrades that fit in a present and future scenario, Bitcoin will never die, let alone the miner that is supporting the network.

Although the articles about that bitcoin will become death it has a possible to happen. They will put it in the social media when there is a chance to happen. But even that article sayings has a possibility to happen we should concentrate our time for now on bitcoin goods and continue using it like what we do.
