Bitcoin is not gambling rather a calculated risk. So to say. If Bitcoin is gambling then the stock market is also gambling so as penny stocks it's same thing as alts. We always predict the market by doing a well calculated research so it's not gambling in any way.

Exactly Bitcoin is not gambling. I like to this it's the opposite of that, especially when you are able to just buy and hold it. If you start investing in alts and forkcoins with your BTC then you are.

No Bitcoin is not gambling, in fact I would say it's quite the opposite. That is if you are able to just buy and hold BTC though, but if you start investing it and playing with altcoins then ya you're gambling.
Looks like some people need to look up in a dictionary to find out the meaning of the word gambling. What says Bitcoin is gambling is not very intelligent and very ridiculous. I also think like you, I am amazed that many people consider bitcoin as gambling when in bitcoin there is no element of gambling, yes it is not denied on the internet a lot of websites that provide gambling services using cryptocurrency
a agree with you but in some cases we can say that it is a gambling in a way that if you convert your money or invest in bitcoin and hoping that you win or you wish to make the value become high you are in a gambling process or it is an act of gambling. but if you choose to make and think that you hold your bitcoin because you need it in the future we can not say that it is an act of taking the risk action in the hope of a desired result.

Most of the people who compare bitcoin and gambling are arrogant people. There is a fine line between gambling and investing. We are not just merely hitting the dart blindfolded. We look up upon sudden change in the market value of bitcoin to plan out our next move. Most of the time we hold on to our coins and wait for the perfect time before collecting our profit. I think people who say bitcoin is gambling it's their expression on bitcoin or they not know enough what bitcoin is. Maybe it's better to teach them what bitcoin does how to use it if they have knowledge about bitcoin i think their mind will absolutely change.
I can say clearly investment is a kind of gambling " especially the one based on currencies trading" because in both cases ( investment and gambling) you are not sure whether you earn or you loose . The unique difference between them is that in gambling the risk to loose is very high unlike the investment case

I agree with your opinion. Bitcoin can not say a gambling. Bitcoin is pure business in the real world or virtual. The person who says bitcoin is a gambler, he just wants to ruin the image of bitcoin in the world.
Anything new if introduced with gambling would have been easier to disseminate, if at first one knew the bitcoin of gambling would forever be like that. If this person knows more about bitcoin, then they can still say bitcoin is not gambling.
Bitcoin is not gambling. People who thinking Bitcoin is gambling because they don't really know about Bitcoin and their knowledge about Bitcoin is too little. They only know somem risky ways to earn Bitcoin like investing in HYIP or gambling and with these ways people can easily lose all money so it make they think that Bitcoin is gambling.
