For my own bitcoin, please know for sure and not everyone can trade it. Because the current price is too expensive it takes big money too. But if you invest the person will have a lot of money if invested in a long time

Yes I agree bitcoin is complicated, because I myself have experienced it, but with the passage of time it is not complicated we will easily run bitcoin because of our habit. So remove the complicated word first before you try it because then you will still step without any word surrender. That is where you will succeed with bitcoin.

I also agree that Bitcoin is complicated for aversge people with the current price of Bitcoin they will not be able to afford to buy or they will not be able to invest. They also cannot hope to get rich in doing faucet because we all know it is a waste of time only. so the only chance they can start on Bitcoin is doing Bounty here in bitcointalk.org and invest there time in completing bointies.

Well, I think it is indeed too much complicated and harder to use, you have to have knowledge about how it works on internet. You have to make an account, buy bitcoin from different sites ( which takes 5% to 7% Fees) then transfer to exchanges for trading or to use.

How can a normal people, who usually watch youtube video, use fb or other social media, you expect him/her to know all these things? I seen people give up easily, and think it's too techy.

I believe if Bitcoin sell coins on their official website, with lower fees, such as 1% to 2%, and make  a simple wallet for people to use, more & more people would buy and use it.

It's even possible not in commissions, but in the very cost of bitcoin now, plus people then understand that it will not last long, that's all it scares. Better then what is now than later to remain with nothing.

Your Average Joe opened a bank account and use a mobile phone every day. They go to a ATM to withdraw cash and they use credit cards for payments. Why would it be that difficult to signup at a exchange and to buy and sell bitcoins? In most African countries people use M-Pesa on their mobile phones.

Why would Bitcoin use be any different from using services like PayPal or Debit cards? People gets bogged down in the details and then they over complicate things.

There's no way Bitcoin can be considered too complicated for the average joe. Everyone has a smartphone nowadays so they're exposed to technology on a daily basis. I'm guessing most of these people are also using online banking of some kind. Bitcoin is not too different.

The only reason it seems daunting is because the entire process seem a little clunky. People are used to just pushing buttons, whereas on Bitcoin transfers, you need to copy and paste addresses. Confirmation isn't instant either, and it's anyone's guess how long that will take. Other than those small speed bumps, it's a very straightforward process.

It looks complicated but in reality it is quite simple. Anyone who has average knowledge about the computer, knows how to operate the apps and have basic internet connection can easily learn about the bitcoins. There are so many tutorial videos available on youtube which helps to understand the bitcoins. People should spend more time on this forum which is the best way to get familiar with the bitcoin community.

I don't think so. day by day Bitcoin is getting popular currency and profitable platform for making the profit. I don't think that Bitcoin system is too complicated to make understand. although it is Based on the internet, but this platform is very user-friendly. But I don't know what do you mean by average people. if they have the internet access then they are able to connect with this system.

Just like the internet in 1998 or 2000. Bitcoin is still in the early phase and there might be some misconceptions about it among the general public. However, it is a very bold statement to call it a complicated thing because we are still dealing with the issues and developing it. There were the people who had issues with the internet in the early phase but now we all are using it in our day to day life, it is more user-friendly, developed and getting cheaper & faster day by day. I am sure Blockchain based products will go through the same phase but with a rapid speed and we will get used to it in the coming years.

It is not too complicated, I think it is really simple to used bitcoin, nowadays a lot of websites had already implemented an easy way to buy bitcoin, and to used it, its very simple just send the amount to their recipients wallet address, if you think it is difficult to used, its means that you either misunderstand about bitcoin or you get too technical

Bazinga!
i don't think so.
based on my experience with the "Average Joe", i see they are understanding bitcoin well enough and when it comes to using it they find it somewhat hard but not that complicated. it just takes some small time to get more familiar with bitcoin and how it works before you feel easy.
the only thing that is complicated for average people is the price and how it moves up and down a lot. in other words the volatility and the fact that it is unpredictable.

I think is not complicated but just not quite conventional people are just not able to get it when they use it for first time. Saying this I really agree that fees by exchanges and thirdparty wallets have gone way too high. Especially when you want to send small amounts of btc.

Well I kind of disagree with you. Its a new technology yes, and that is why it may take some time for people to completely know it in and out, but same thing happened when computers and launched and when smartphones were launched, and now see where we at. Even a 10 year old knows his way around these systems, so its just a matter of time and interest. People will eventually get the hang of it pretty well.

This is very complicated to a non internet user who only live using tv and cellphone but not on a user who always watch youtube and using social media. If a people is eager to learn there will be so many ways. There are so many tutorials videos in youtube on how bitcoin works and how to make bitcoin. If you want to avoid high fees in buying or selling bitcoin you need to find people and make a transaction face to face.

I dont definitely agree but not really disagree either when I am discussing bitcoin with my friends and how Im making money in world of cryptocurrency I find them really puzzled on what I am saying them yet in my experience since I meet bitcoins online the first time I just make my own research to have a full understanding and as time pass I learn new things. So I conclude that in crypto/btc a person just need determination to learn.

People usually give up learning bitcoin because of the lack of knowledge in economics
They dont understand the basic but can learn if they are willing enough to understand bitcoin. Making/Uaing a wallet, transferring and receiving is one of the main reasons people give up. They find this processess hard to understand.

For example, I'm from Canada, and i was only able to buy bitcoin from coinbase, who has limit $100 per week, they charge 3.5% transaction fee, then when you transfer bitcoin to bittrex, they hit you with another fees, which is $5 to $7, end of the day you get $90 worth of bitcoin. I tried several other sites, which has way way high fees, not sure where you guys buy the bitcoins, i couldn't find any suitable sites yet, so i can buy bitcoin with ease.

A 5 year old kid could use the internet well these days. We live in the internet generation, we should adapt and learn or be computer illiterate. That is your choice.

There is no way to avoid it. If you truly want to have Bitcoin as an investment, you have to pay the fees.

You will get used to it. There is a learning curve to overcome but it becomes easier. Do not worry.

There is a currency exchange sub forum, try to look for better deals over there. If you want a simple wallet, make an account in Blockchain.info.

This is exactly the reason forum is made for , people  new to BTC would come to know more about it by participating in the forum , they would get to know many things about BTC with different veiws from different people .

I mean most of us came to know about BTC by this forum .the people would then invest their time on forum instead of social media sites .
Then I don't think it would be hard for a normal person to use btc .
