The future is obviously bright for cryptos and blockchain technology. But since the current trend is not that good in view of cryptocurrency investments, many people are speculating that this is the end of bitcoins. It means the new money systems name is cryptocurrency.

Wow, this is very interesting. But can this actually be extended to the main leagues and the UEFA champions league? Just imagine what will become of Bitcoin if it is accepted to watch UEFA champions league matches.

This is quite a good idea. I wish cryptocurrency or at least Bitcoin will be accepted for stadium tickets in UK and other top football leagues in the world.

I think this is very good news for bitcoins as well as other cryptocurrencies. The future is obviously bright for cryptos and blockchain technology. But since the current trend is not that good in view of cryptocurrency investments, many people are speculating that this is the end of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. This is far from the truth and the post that you share is just one of many use cases that we see that are being done with bitcoins (or other cryptos).

This is only the first movement of payment for services using blockchain and bitcoin. This is not the only transaction carried out in the network with the help of electronic money, last year such transactions were not rare. Today, they are growing in number every day.  Even banks made a money transfer using the ripple network and this is just the beginning.
We are going to a new time where payment with bitcoin tokens will gain momentum because this is the future.

It is not only a Premier League matter.
In Italy the Rimini football club was the first club sold in crypto.
Here the Italian news link:

I wonder how much it actually costs to sponsor a premier league team? I'm sure it's not that much for one of the newly promoted teams to the league or one further down the league table. The community could actually pool together to get bitcoin to be their sponsor. Would be really cool to see the BTC logo on their shirts and would be great for adoption.

Something like this on the front of their shirts would be sweet:

You might be surprised. You can read this article below to find out how much Premier League sponsorship are worth.Obviously to sponsor a team like Manchester United you'll have to pay the big bucks, but like you said, the smaller clubs don't demand that much and all teams get equal playing time (though the bigger games get shown more on TV).

https://www.statista.com/statistics/254513/value-of-jersey-kit-sponsorships-in-the-barclays-premier-league-by-club/

To break it down for you: Huddersfield get 1.5 million for their shirt deal - Ope Sports (never heard of them). American Express sponsor Brighton also for 1.5 million who are a huge business. Man United are the biggest earners with a whopping 47 million from Chevy. Looking at those figures I'm sure someone could organize some sort of crowdfunding or something if people thought it was in the interest of bitcoin. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before some other big bitcoin-based companies like Coinbase or something start doing such big sponsorships though.
