What a news!

UK based trading platform eToro signed an advertising deal with 7 Premiere League Clubs and paid them in #Bitcoin for the first time. So Bitcoin just got the Man Of The Match award.

What are you thinking?

Good news of course
Sports are very popular and especially football
If adoption is made by the unions and the large sports bodies
That would be the best publicity for crypto.

A welcome development. Interestingly, I have read about Gibraltar paying her footballers or athletes using cryptocurrency. When news like this grab the headlines and front pages of online and print media, it should change people's perception of cryptocurrency as a whole.

this is already familiar because there are so many football sports that use blockchain technology which is also owned by bitcoin, when bitcoin starts to be known more and more and more soccer fans in the world will be more curious about what bitcoin is

Wow! I just found out about this, if the gambling site itself I already knew that some of them were sponsors of several major or big teams at EPL, but for crypto maybe this was a new breakthrough that the company in crypto had to do to become sponsorship of famous clubs in EPL, because we know the English league (epl) is the most prestigious league in the world of football. So with Crypto included in it, in time there will be more huge investors who will enter Crypto and help Crypto's growth become more significant in the future.

I have already heard about this and this is the first entry of bitcoin in sports it will provide more opportunities to the people to come and invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin is now the future and surely it will remove the fait money. eToro, which is a worldwide stage for cryptographic forms of money, has propelled associations with seven Premier League Clubs to trail utilization of digital forms of money amid player arrangements and exchanges. The seven clubs that have marked for the association are Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton and Hove Albion F.C., Cardiff City F.C., Crystal Palace F.C., Leicester City F.C., Newcastle United F.C. what's more, Southampton F.C.

Although this is not the first time Bitcoin is used in the sports industry but this gives investors a boost of confidence in running their investments in the hope of stabilizing the market. I believe the more people start using bitcoin apart from the gambling industry, the demand may rise slowly and the price too.

I think this is another great milestone for bitcoin, as I knew there were many people around the world who enjoys watching the English Premier League, this would definitely help bitcoin to gain more exposure towards the majority of people who have not even heard of bitcoin and blockchain technology yet, it would surely help to boost the confidence of people to trust in bitcoin and blockchain technology.

Sport and crypto go hand in hand. If anyone has invested in wagerr then you will see all the cool sponsorship deals with boxers and others sports. Soon sports fans will be able to place anonymous bets using the wagerr platform. Footballers getting bitcoin will be a real bonus

I have seen projects similar to this but what I am interested to is that how were they paid and how much in btc? Using bitcoin to pay services is a good way to expand the usability of bitcoin. To that end, I think this will be a great step for other opportunities to be opened.

This is an interesting news for crypto-currency but it needs time to spread the advantage of crypto-currency to many businesses and all users around the world especially in sports where the advertisement is easy to be connected to users.

Very good news, with this it can be seen that bitcoin will be an alternative payment instrument other than the currency of the country, and will continue to grow, hopefully not only from the football sport that will use it, maybe the motto GP or f1, it is not impossible to happen, where a BMW-like company has started using bitcoin payments

It looks like european football industry is looking at cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology in a positive light. I read a few weeks ago that the UEFA was using a blockchain-based app to distribute tickets for the Super Cup match.

It's nice to see that they're embracing both cryptos and new technologies, hopefully, this will help the adoption phase to keep growing worldwide, who knows, maybe one day we'll see Bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrency) being used as a method of payment in the football world.

I've already seen crypto sponsorships with clubs but they were in the lower leagues.  Anyways this is great news, anything that helps cryptocurrency become more mainstream.  I don't think this will have any effect on the price of bitcoin in the near future though.
