Theres a lot of good altcoin to invest like eth eos litecoin etc. The price of bitcoin as of now is so huge so if you want to invest in bitcoin you need also a huge capital if I were you I choose some good or have a bright potential altcoin to invest my money I have a good feeling that Eos will pump up in 2018 some blogger/readers predict the rise up of eos.

although the price bitcoin already very expensive, I think there is no harm if we also had a little bitcoin to invest, but if in altcoin it is cheaper than price bitcoin. but sometimes price altcoin dropped dramatically, it makes we sometimes fear to buy altcoin, due to increase the price is also not as soon as bitcoin.but i think if in a long time, altcoin also good choice...

I am sure everyone is aware about the rise of altcoins like ETH and Litecoin so I just want to know expert's opinion whether to invest in bitcoin or altcoins as the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it ? Do you think these altcoins will survive and pump just like bitcoin or its better to stick to bitcoin ?
It won't hurt if you buy Litecoins now... if it hits 500usd next year then you almost hit the same jackpot as early 2017 bitcoiners did. My peg is on LTC and ETC for 2018. I earned enough in bitcoins this year... I personally thank Satoshi, whoever he is.

"the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it". What's funny is that, that's what people have always been saying since the start!

First people thought that $1000 was too high.. then $3000.. then $5000.. and now $10,000.. Do you want to make the same regrets after the next price milestone? I'm not saying that you should definitely buy at this pricepoint, but think about it.

yup i have been hearing this all year, should I buy Bitcoin now that the
price is $1500, is it too late to buy at $2500 etc. etc.

now if you only have $100 to spend, you wont get much bitcoin for that!
so I get the point the OP is making.

Personally the likes of Litecoin, Dash, Ethereum, Monero, Zcash are
pretty good to get into, the best would be Litecoin as its "affordable"
and its only going one way [like bitcoin] !!

I'm no expert and just a small time investor.  Bitcoin's expensiveness can continue so if you do believe it will take time before it falls just buy bitcoin now or if not go with those two altcoins you prefer.

Do you think these altcoins will survive and pump just like bitcoin or its better to stick to bitcoin ?

I do believe that those altcoins will survive and they are one of my preferred coins too. You can stick to bitcoin if you want.

If you are just a ordinary investors, I don't know if you can buy bitcoin with that steep price today. A good advise is to buy in small portions only and just accumulate it over the time. as for ETH and any other altcoins, its a good investment as well specially ETH. I think the renewed interest with ETH will still continue up to next year so If I were you, I'm going to buy it today. And then just hodl on it for long term.

Its better to diversify you portfolio, never put everything in one basket. Its good that you have ETH as well and not only bitcoin. Buy them both, make it 50/50 and just hodl or buy when their is a market price correction.

With its current price for me Bitcoin is good for Holding. While Altcoin like Eth and LTC are good for trading. This is a beginner perspective feel free to correct me or add an input to it.

At the current rate its going, i'd say go all in for Bitcoin for now. Bitcoin is so bullish and because of this it's a snowball effect where more and more people are starting to invest in it.

Yes, altcoins will survive this pump, but not before their value is crushed by Bitcoin's meteoric rise. Why wait until value goes down and goes back up again? Sell your alts and buy bitcoin now. Just buy back later when things get calmer.

Its not too late to get into btc even if the price is staggering as of the moment. It's forecasted to even breach 50k in the next couple of years so if you're holding, buying now would at least give you five times profit. Though if you're already planning on holding that long, might as well dive into alts as the ones you've mentioned along with others like ripple, are expected to gain momentum as well

Bitcoin surprises everyone with his height. Let's speculate. For example, the chances that bitcoin will grow 2 times lower than the opportunities to grow by 2 times such currencies as OmiseGO, ETH, Dash, Lisk, Waves, Stratis, Ark, Dash, Nem, and this is a fact. At the moment I prefer altcoins.

I agree that it's not too late to get into Bitcoin. Though, i think there are a lot alts that have the potential to overtake Bitcoin in the long run (years...). Also, from an Investor's side of view, Bitcoin has already reached a huge marketcap, so it MIGHT BE harder for BTC to achieve even higher spheres.

I don't believe in Bitcoin, i believe in the blockchain & cryptocurrency technology.

It's still not too late to invest in BTC, even if the market price is really high at the moment. You could still spare a good amount of investment in buying them and HOLD, which I'm also currently doing. Besides, we are nearing the last month of 2017 (December), and if you are not aware, it is forecast-ed that the market price will reach $10,000 or even more. Heck, it is already $9.8k as of this typing.  Shocked You can also experiment investing with Altcoins, which I believe will survive, once after the BTC price surge is over and remain constant.
