I think it's the best bitcoin to invest. But that does not mean bad altcoins. It's just that I'm more interested in investing in bitcoin than altcoins. Bitcoin has potential for the future. It's your choice and you should think wisely about it.

For me it would still be bitcoins, other than they are what people are accustomed to, without bitcoins there would be no altcoins present. Basically without bitcoins altcoins wouldn't be present. Moreover, bitcoins as a matter of fact have a lower volatility rate compared to most altcoins making bitcoins more safer to invest on and much much more profitable.
yes, with bitcoin, we can make a big profit but if we want to make another profit, we can use altcoin to help us to make money. although now every altcoin is down, I am sure that there will be a time for the altcoin to increase again so if we still hold the altcoin, we can sell it at the highest price. with bitcoin and altcoin, we can gain more profit and in the end, we can have much of money from bitcoin and altcoin.

If you're talking about safer ,i will absolutely suggest Bitcoin is the way much more safer than Altcoins because they don't lose or gain their profits in the multiples way.
Bitcoin answers Ethereum is the best pick for longterm investment and its surely is profitable and not a scam because it's been used by thousand of people or we could say million now, but if you want to earn while holding them you might want to join and invest with ICOs.
Simple, use altcoins to buy bitcoins as altcoins especially ICOs are cheaper and when the price goes high sell it to buy more profitable cryptos like bitcoin and eths.

I prefer Bitcoin over Altcoin. Because I think Bitcoin is safer and more profitable. I'm sure many trust Bitcoin that Bitcoin's security is guaranteed. No coin is a safe choice to invest at this time. Bitcoin is too valuable, so the price level is enormous. Altcoin is affected too much by the downside, and Bitcoin prices go up. Both negatively change it, so there are not any options that are the best.
Bitcoin is more safer than altcoins but we should diversify our investment to be safer side. I would suggest you to do 50% investment in bitcoin and do 50% in the altcoins. If you follow this rule you will feel more safe but in my opinion if you have long term vision then bitcoin investment can be more profitable.

I know that most of the people will choose bitcoin because of its high value, but for me, Altcoins are more profitable. One of the reasons why I chose altcoins than bitcoin because its value doesn't drop too much compared to bitcoin. Bitcoins are for me, way way safer than alt coin investments since alt coins can fail anytime. There are a lot of alt coins out there to invest on but there is one and only bitcoin to invest on. So I don't really trust whole-heartedly alt coins. Invest on bitcoins, it's pretty much safer.
Previously, investors preferred bitcoin, because it always brought a good profit. Now I prefer except bitcoin, have different types of altcoyins. And little-known coins pose a great risk when investing, but sometimes they bring a very big profit. Since February 26 a new version of Bitcoin 0.16.00 has been released, which already fully supports SegWit, the shortcomings of bitcoin must be quickly eliminated and this year bitcoin is still able to bring good profits. For safer they are the same but the distinct and better bitcoin reputation,
but for the future as well as profitable it is clear that bitcoin is better and more proven and recognized while altcoin takes more time because it still needs to be developed differently from bitcoin.

If you want to play safe and you wanna go long term then Bitcoin is your option. But if you are willing to take risk and can do some short term trading then you can go for altcoins.
I distribute my money to several cryptocurrencies as it is most secure. If something happens to one of the coins, my losses will be reduced. A substantial part of my capital is in bitcoin, as in the most expensive and worthy coin of all existing. Ethereum is in second place. And a lot of other coins

I was having the same debate myself about that .. I noticed on the last dip we had, when BTC dropped majority of altcoins followed... i mean it seems its all attached to the BTC. But as return on your investment vs the money you put it, i would go with altcoins as i can make more with volume on cheaper price under a 1$ than the BTC it self. After hitting it big i would transfer all my altcoins to BTC and wait for the long term result ! Hope it helped !

I prefer bitcoin, because I think it is the most profitable and promising coin. Yes, I have a few altcoins, but they are very few.
bitcoin is much safer yet altcoins can be more profitable if you choose the right one and are lucky enough. But safer in terms of crypto still means you can easily lose majority of your investment in few days, so still be careful
