I think that profit is the same but bitcoin is just safer. You never know what gonna happen with noname altcoins but bitcoin is working science 2009.

for a long term investment I choose bitcoin, I think investing bitcoin is safer compared to invest altcoin. but if I want to trade I choose trading altcoin it is very profitable.
If you want a long term investment i think you should go on bitcoin because it has a high possibility to have profit and a low risk of loss and thats pretty good if youre just starting but if you would prefer short term investment you should go with altcoin because it is cheaper but it has a high possibility of risk because there is many Altcoins to choose and some of them are scams but some of them are high profitable but you have to choose carefully among many Altcoins.
As per the current result of bitcoin says its value gets dull in market and etherium is in a good form in market value.Comparatively altcoins otherwise etherium is the crypto that profitable in the current market.

Both bitcoin and altcoins are equally profitable. It all depends on the market situation, some time it favors bitcoin and some time it favors altcoins. As far as safety is concerned, I think bitcoin is more safer than altcoins, there are only a few established altcoins, these are safer but all other altcoins are not that safer.

But if you want to try short-term investments, try starting with altcoin, like Ethereum, Litecoin, and EOS. Because the coin is arguably the best after bitcoin.
I think most of the altcoins need more gestation time before they can start producing. They need to produce more tangible results and then they'll gain some traction. I'm just speaking of them as a whole and not as one particular coin or token.
I agree with this, but event at that, I think its good to have a diversified portfolio, so try not to still keep all your eggs in a basket. A mix with bitcoin being the larger share is ok.Thank you

Bitcoin or altcoin is essentially the same, the difference I think is only in the price and use of one or the other. Bitcoin is safe, I believe like other coins, I personally prefer bitcoin, I also like the etherium very much, it seems a bit more stable. Neither Bitcoin nor altcoins are safe, at least when compared to the other forms of investment. They are extremely risky assets to make investment, and you should be ready for a scenario where your entire capital can vanish. And regarding profitability, I'd go with BTC. Because a lot of altcoins are being created by fraudsters these days.
