I agree with you, I think if you want a bigger advantage choosing both is the right choice, Bitcoin and Litecoin have great potential in the future I think if both are used for trading will definitely get a bigger profit.

It is depends on what subject are you talking about. Are you talking about the price of btc ? Are you talking about the price of ltc ? Are you talking about the developing price of btc ? Or you want to talk about the trend right now ? Maybe ltc will be very good to do long term invest, but if you compare it to btc, then ltc will lose. So I think btc will be the winner. But if you are talking about short term invest, I think the answer may become different. So it is up to you guys to determine and choose which one is better. But for me, myself I think in my opinion I will keep my btc and not ltc. I am also currently investing in btc.

Litecoin is quite an old currency and it's technology is not that better when compared to Bitcoin. But it is fortunate to have a dedicated bunch of developers and promoters. And that is the reason why LTC has survived for so long, while some of its competitors (such as Terracoin and Namecoin) died down without a trace.
We like them both and they've been running in sync for quite some time as of lately.
Bitcoin for me, if there is one coin in the space that need BTC to perform very well, that coin is Litecoin, because its growth has been directly correlated to that of Bitcoin very well the year, and I don't see how these coin can succeed alone without BTC success.
Among the two, when it comes to transactions, I choose litecoin, it is much faster than bitcoin, has a lower price and also being used as a trading pair, however the downside is not all uses litecoin and still relies on bitcoin. For bitcoin, it had gained in value and mostly accepted worldwide, however their are transactions fees that are still high in exchanges, and the value of bitcoin is no doubt that costly, it is still good with trading pairs, but a lot of scammers uses bitcoin. Personally, I would choose both, being an investor I don't want to miss out anything that will grow in value and anything that will help in the future, FUDs will still br there for both, but at the end, you will see your investments worth it, though the market is volatile it still better to diversify your funds and watch it break its ATH.
bitcoin has always been the most superior coins than any other coin. be it in terms of price as well as the advantage of trading for investors. bitcoin has always been a coin into a reference for other coins.
