I think that maybe bitcoin could find its level around 10-15k for a little while but that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Of course however I could be wrong and we could see 40k or even beyond in the next year. Assuming growth will slow slightly and removing things we had this year such as a halving I think 40k is about the upper limit for 2018.
I just watched that interview and he seem to be determined on saying that. There's nothing to lose if I'm going to believe what he says, I'm even believing McAfee for saying that bitcoin will reach $500,000 so $40,000 isn't that much and not too far from the current price.

Let's be realistic and speculate based on numbers and the market situation and $40000 is not cheap it will be beyond anyone's imagination and indeed achievable if we do not come across any new aexes from so called regulatory or bankers to stop the growth of bitcoin.
The increase in the price of bitcoin has been so accelerated since the big investment funds have set their eyes on it, that I do not think that possibility is unreasonable. While it is true that we should not engage in excessive optimism, it is important to take into account that the growth of the crypto market is only at an early stage, so the growth potential of cryptos, including bitcoin, is really great, so even the prognosis that sees bitcoin at $100,000 in a couple of years does not seem exaggerated.
Well look at that, somebody made a more sensible number on how much it could be for the next year rather than those who wants it beyond the moon.
I would very much agree to this number. I see a lot of room for bitcoin to grow specially when it is still young.
I do regret selling some of it but from now on I would be very much please to keep it whatever happens. Down or not it showed it can make a move upwards easily.

He's a billionaire and every words he say can affect the market of what he's supporting. It's obvious that he's supporting bitcoin and he is encouraging other billionaires to invest with it.We can't tell if that can happen next year but who doesn't like it to happen? All of us will be glad if that will be for real.

It is difficult to know in one hand I'm thinking that maintaining this kind of growth for another year or two is going to be impossible and that makes me a little bit bearish for the next year but at the same time, it seems a lot of new investors want to put a lot of money in bitcoin and if this is correct reaching a price like that may be possible in the near future, so I do not know what to think. 
Yeap. I think at the mid or end of 2018 bitcoin will reach $40k or $60k. We cannot say anything at future but BTC will increasing 5-10% day by day.

This is ridiculous, how come he thinks that it will going to rise that high before the year ends? I wanted to know what is his basis for this because this is too fast than i expected if this is going to be real. Well, i'm not telling that i don't like it but i guess he knows something that we didn't know if he could talk like that. And i wanted that something to be told to us bitcoiners because i'm sure those hodlers will be an instant millionaire if is going to happen. 
People can speculate as much as they want, but this market doesn't care about anything. No one knows what will happen from here, and a billionaire confidently speaking out doesn't change anything in that regard. At this point even traders playing this market in previous times are struggling with how unpredictable everything now is. It's safe to say that we can only sit back and watch how this market either goes up further when it breaks through the $10,000 level, or it directly comes down an correct from there. Lower probability of happening is that the USD markets won't be able to break through the $10,000 level, and we fall back as result.

My real target is $150,000 but I don't know when. 2018 is not a suitable year to get those price mentioned by you. We already made more than 10x in 2017 and 2018 may be a bitt more calmed down.

My opinion is we will see 20K usd this year.... Yes in 2017... CME is coming and that means Billions of Dollar will flood the crypto market. it will Skyrocket like a hyped Altcoin.

There is potential that bitcoin will go up to that value by 2018. As long more investors will come in and more businesses to advertise definitely more transactions to make and make a profit
