Not while people are still used to buy and sell things with/for fiat. That won't change soon.

That is true,, only few are using bitcoin to buy something, and sometimes bitcoin users still convert their coins into fiat to buy physical goods, so it is still far from happening..  Smiley
it was due to the adoption of a community that is slow, if we can accelerate the adoption of those. by spreading bitcoin,. of course we can change quickly. may only require a few decades alone

dont waste your time bitcoin has been built to fail, more adoption = bigger blockchain and more transactions which will cripple the tech, stop pushing for the unachievable, and make the most of our hobby while we still can Smiley

Its difficult to assume that bitcoin can replace money in future unless we can buy anything that we want directly by using bitcoin as a currency or a payment method.

This is possbile maybe not replaces usd or euro but replace fiat money on third world its possible. Cheesy

Still many poor country in this world there are many on the continent of Asia or Africa and not all of them know bitcoin.

That's true hardly anyone have heard about bitcoins, and it is very difficult to explain them about bitcoins, as they hesitate in investing into something they are really not aware about.

as long as bitcoin is Dependant on externally controlled resources, you know like electricity and the internet, bitcoin will remain the currency of us 0.5% ers, predicting anything other than the end of bitcoin is pretty delusional in my eyes, the mass's will not put their wealth into something they have no control over, especially with talk of throwing nukes around which will cause EMP destroying bitcoin in its entirety along with the electricity grids, please stop attempting to push agenda 21, bitcoin is never going to become a global currency, NEVER deal with it guberment retards!!!!

Bitcoin won't be legally promoted as killer of fiat but will be massively used on internet.
Price of btc will also follow this sweet craziness.
But expect harsh and strict regulations soon as you feel this power from btc!

like i've said in another thread, if bitcoin reach a great position in adoption, it may kill some fiat in world, not the strongest one like usd or euro

but there will be a possibility of some poor country to join bitcoin as their primarely currency, this happened with the usd too...

I feel that more companies would adopt bitcoins and issue debit cards for all users without any fee, just like we have our regular bank visa cards. Then, bitcoin will replace the money. This definitely could happen.

it maybe happen, but still, not over the world. maybe for some companies it works but just in a little number

Bitcoin cant replace physical money.
few people only know bitcoin so it isnt possible.
This is so wrong!
Many people now know for bitcoin and more will come to it.
Try to search google for those "keywords" what will you get ?
Hundreds of pages and texts related to BTC.
And look how many searches are made every day !
He's actually right. The number of bitcoin users is not even 1% of the population and many who even know about bitcoins don't intend to use it for their own reasons. The number of transactions we see are mainly Chinese investors who drive the price but the number is comparatively low. BTC articles are mainly written by bitcoin users and this is what proves that it's not so popular among masses.

Only thing I see Bitcoin as is an Alt-Currency when you want to put it in those terms.
Only way it would do anything along those lines is if FIAT money just crashed and this was one of the only ones left.

I dont think that is possible. Many people need just normal money, especially the older generation people.
They dont even know what Bitcoin is and how it works. Some hasnt even a computer at home. So its difficult to replace it.
