It is great. There is no doubt about that.
You could give up with altcoins for now. But I am certain you will be back once you make profits out of bitcoin from withdrawal in a certain good amount.

When that time comes, I hope you are all ready to invest in a good altcoin.
That means, while waiting for bitcoin to be pumped, you are already looking for a better altcoin project.

yes it is a very good plan because bitcoin is the most stable coin and has always been everyone's first choice in investing. I also feel guilty about losing a lot of money when investing in some altcoin

for me personally, bitcoin is the main crypto that I always choose as a long-term investment. but not enough bitcoin, ETH is also my second choice as a crypto investment, the reason is, if I only save bitcoin, of course I have to have a lot of capital to buy it if I want to have more bitcoin, but I divide 50% -50% by ETH, of course I will get more ETH. it's possible, you used to buy the wrong altcoin or bought when the price was soaring high. but this is the world of cryptocurrency, the risk always surrounds any crypto holder.

Putting all my money on bitcoin is more smarter than going for altcoins? I think bitcoin will always surge even if it loses value today, i never think twice about this anymore because in the past if i never switched to altcoin i would have be in big profit today, what do you guys think about my plan? Stupid or 👍

If you put your money in Bitcoin is smarter long term because the price is going steady up and is much safe than in altcoins.
But if you put your coins in good alt projects, you can gain much much more since an low cap alt can go up even 100x which on Bitcoin is unlikely to happen in let's say 2-3 years.

I think you have a right decision because all we know that bitcoin's progress is more good rather than altcoin. And bitcoin can recover easily if it experienced price fall. If I am the one that stand in your situation I will also put all of my investment at bitcoin because I know that from all of coin here in crypto world bitcoin can survive in so many years like now, it will going to 11 years existing this year.
it would be safer to put assets in bitcoin, because bitcoin is a leader for other altcoins. but for me it would be better if most of it was invested in bitcoin and the rest was invested in several altcoins to maximize profits. because we know altcoin fluctuations are bigger

That is not stupid plans. It is better because if you make investment in altcoin and you are not really sure with it, you maybe can do something that you are not expected like cut lose when altcoin that you already bought dumped. If make investment in bitcoin and you sure with it, you wouldn't easily to get affected by anything until it reach your target price.

Every idea has its own capability and potentials, I always valued every important details. Whether that idea is somehow non sense with others, always believe in yourself and as a holder we need to have concrete trust on our decisions.
Choosing bitcoin rather than altcoins is a greatest assurance, even though it was hard to increase these days but still kicking to establish the best price sooner.

Many people are convinced that bitcoin will again surge and provide benefits for those who hold it. But I think we also need altcoin because altcoin can sometimes benefit us if we can look for opportunities from several altcoins. And for me personally I would choose to divide the investment I made into bitcoin 70% and altcoin 30%.

I will always put my trust in Bitcoin. As for me, despite no matter how many potential altcoins may exist, nothing will beat bitcoin when it comes to long term investment. It has passed all the tests of time and I could see no reason not to trust it. Your decision in buying would still lie on your trust for a certain coin. Always trust your guts.

With the volatility of $200 and above every hour, it would be foolish to buy alts at this moment. It will be really hard to make any profit even if you get a hyped news like Coinbase accepting a new coin. Hold your investments in Bitcoin.

I would like to go to bitcoin no matter what. We all know that bitcoin have already prove its ability to rise up so fast after the dump. Plus the fact that bitcoin is the most trusted coin in the cryptocurrency scene so it is impossible to be replaced by some other coins out there. As long as there is someone who believes on bitcoin, it will remain on the top.

I think that for your portfolio to be successful in the long run, you need a nice balance of both.

You're not going to get far without having alts in your portfolio for the fact that you need some growth assets, and bitcoin, as great as it is, doesn't offer as much volatility exposure to your portfolio compared to the higher risk, higher reward altcoin sector.

Likewise, you want to balance your alt bets with the more stable bitcoin - goes without saying.

I think that is a good plan. because bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency and has always been the benchmark for altcoin. and investing in bitcoin also has a lower risk than altcoin. but in my opinion it would be better if you also have altcoin. of course the top altcoins like binance, ethereum and litecoin. because sometimes altcoin can also provide greater benefits than bitcoin. because the percentage increase in altcoin is greater than bitcoin.

As of now, more than 90% of my portfolio is made up of BTC. This strategy worked for me, because during the last few months many of the altcoins crashed heavily. But as of now, I am thinking about increasing my proportion of the forked coins such as BCH and BSV. These two coins are giving good returns as of now. BSV in particular, went up by 40% during the last 24-hours.

Bitcoin is a good coin there is no doubt about that but that does not make altcoins to be bad. People have lost money because of bitcoin also and people have made profits from altcoins also, so it all depends. If you have decided to invest in bitcoin, then fine.

Many rumors are looking in to that thing. But in the reality its still 50/50 situation we can't or we can say that is good or bad to invest on the same technology, I mean investing on blockchain is good or not. Depending on the situation like bitcoin today, After trump didn't response on the Iran missiles bitcoin immediately dumped.

actually this is a good choice, don't take big risks on altcoin. but for me of course I will set aside 30% for altcoin, because I also need daily or weekly profits. because bitcoin for me is for the long term.

For me personally it is better to focus on investing into bitcoin. But this does not mean that altcoin is bad, but if we look at altcoin prices often follow bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin starts to surge then altcoin prices will also slowly increase. But if I have to choose for now I would prefer to invest into bitcoin like what you said and maybe I only invest into altcoin with a small amount.
