it can be used all over the world, but this is not available to everyone...so, on the one hand, this can be called an international currency, and on the other hand there is can't

bitcoin is already an international currency other countries accepted bitcoin as a mode of payment but here in my country it is not yet that well known especially in provinces areas. bitcoin will be okay for big companies and i don't think that small bussiness will adapt that idea so i think it botcoin is functional for big stores or companies.
Bitcoin is not exactly an international currency, and it will not happen for a long time. I do not believe that there is something international. Things may have shrunk in the globalizing world, but the world is still quite large.

It is an international currency but it is unofficial because there are still countries that doesn't want bitcoin. It can do global transactions but because of its volatility it could affect its price anytime and people need to wait to send a certain amount they want to send to the receiver.

If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

I heavily disagree for a lot of reasons:

1. Bitcoin, being a decentralized and volatile currency, cannot be regulated by any government agency which primarily affects its price in the market. Its high volatility can potentially heighten inflation in a short-amount of time;
2. Bitcoin, being an intangible asset and a electronic currency makes it difficult for countries below the poverty lane to have access. Due to different economic discrepancies around the world, some countries still adapt barter system of payment and others still lack internet access; and
3. Though bitcoin can be beneficial to some people, its limited number of supply can potentially be abused by whales, thus controlling the market price of it.

Despite all of those reasons, bitcoin is still a good source of alternative income due to its price increase in a short amount of time compared to to other types of investments. Let those reasons not hinder you from investing on it and taking advantage of its high ROI.

Many people now are using bitcoin to purchase goods and other services in different countries around the world. Yup, its already internationally used but there are still areas who dont use it, like for example here on my province. Business owners dont accept crypto here because they are not fully aware about it. But, it will be great if everyone and every businesses will use crypto to facilitate easy transactions anytime, anywhere.

Bitcoin is not a national currency because it is not widely known and owned. It's just a coin of the international crypto community.
Yeah, instead of call Bitcoin is a international currency, it is a currency for a community called under name "Cryptocurrency user". Like games, gems, diamond or gold ... are the money for games system. Bitcoin is the currency for this community, but in other fields, it is a digital asset.

if bitcoin into national money is very good but with a total supply of bitcoin which is only about 21 million whether bitcoin can survive and can become a national eye in some countries? seems to need more suppy.
It's impossible, Bitcoin can't have more supply coins.
Unless we use other cryptocurrencies or clone more coins from Bitcoin blockchain, I don't know any solution can help us solve this problem.

It will be incredibly convenient, however for those assumptions to realize smartphones, computers and decent internet should first be widely adopted by almost all.
Right now, majority of the third world countries doesn't have this. Slow internet, smartphones are considered a luxury, also computers.
Well technically bitcoin IS an international currency right now, it can be used globally.
But bitcoin is extremely slow to be used the way we use fiat when buying a bag of chips down the road.

I think this is a good idea, it's time for the world to think and find solutions from various economic problems that we experience, such as poverty and equity, bitcoin is worthy of international currency.

Yeah that is living in an ideal world which I think we can reach one day but only if transaction fees are small enough to allow us to do so. Otherwise you will only be able to purchase big products like cars, homes, and the like with bitcoin. That said though I do expect to be able to spend btc one day with minimal fees because crypto cards are coming out and I can only think that cryptobanks will follow suit soon. How we will be able to trust the cryptobank I have no idea but I would rather trust them then my traditional fiat bank which I am being spyed on by the government.

Bitcoin is not going to be currency at all. It is cryptocurrency which is fully depend upon internet only. Bitcoin wont be accepted in rural areas where people doesn't know about bitcoin and it is not accessible. Due to this big reason only bitcoin is not going to be a international currency. I am not saying it is impossible but at the same time we should be practical and logically approach the issues.
Being on a rural area is not really an impediment in many rural areas people have computers and smartphones as well, the issue with bitcoin has to do with poverty, how bitcoin is going to reach those that do not have access to the Internet or computers.

Bitcoin is already an international currency. You can pay in many countries. With the proper involvement and trust of people it is only a matter of time to increase their reach to other countries.

I think Bitcoin is already international currency.bitcoin is a Crypto currency, we exchange it into dollar and we use it anywhere and we have no problem in it.It is also easy to pay and have some transaction via your Bitcoin wallet and that is perfect of the wallet.we just need a little more time with the halving in my eyes than its possible.

If bitcoin will be an international currency, it should be more stable like dollars. Because of being very volatile, bitcoin is only applicable at exchangers for trading but know one knows maybe in the future, there would be a crypto currency that will be applicable to be an international currency. For bitcoin today, I would say it would be a No!
It can be an international currency but with limited users unless people are really brave in taking risk, the price will continue
to be volatile and that is the risk, don't expect it will be stable as long as there are big investors who loves to play with the price by moving it.
