Maybe this current market condition is just the background for Ethereum to became the number one, right now bitcoin would fall, and after that Ethereum will grow up to become the first and only, lol.

what do ı do?  Complex
This is something not so big. At least the technology is giving great profits to those who invest and act rationally. Besides, with the same transaction speed and in the presence of so many manipulators, many earned and cashed in billions and still are hopeful about the future.

It is not about how hard time you face. In the end what maters is only the money and a lot of people are getting it. However, with the expansion of technology, these problems might also subside.

Bitcoin is the decentralised concept,So I think bitcoin will not controlled by any whales.Due to the demand and supply the price of bitcoin is varying . Don't worry about the reduction, use that choose chance to buy huge amount of bitcoin. When the price increase don't buy, just sell your hold bitcoin.

A lot of the problems that you have raised are perfectly answered by 1Referee. Of course, it doesn't mean that bitcoin is something perfect. Nothing is. However, I think it's probably the best global currency and certainly the most promising cryptocurrency available to us at the moment.

I don't actually think that bitcoin replacing fiat altogether is going to be likely in the future.

But I do think that bitcoin can have a sustainable future serving alongside fiat currencies as an alternative, with more adoption by merchants in the future. It'll also be able to serve a nice niche of users whose main goal is to preserve wealth with BTC, which bitcoin is good at since its supply is decentralised.

What escape path for Bitcoin?
The value of Bitcoin is still very high . Some problems of bitcoin are difficult to solve as :
- Slow transaction speed
- consumes a lot of energy
- It is banned in some countries
- Price manipulated
Is there a sustainable future for bitcoin and cryptocurrency ?
Bitcoin will become the coin of payment as its purpose is created. Or is it just a game of whales? A financial game with winners and losers
Yes the bitcoin value is still high for me too, even though the market is falling. Those problems should be quickly overcome if bitcoins are the coins of the future, at least make bitcoin transactions faster and give high support to bitcoin in many countries, so I'm sure bitcoin will become stronger as well as its possible price alone will be stable and will increase faster after the fall of the market as it is now.

I am convinced that this bitcoin in its manufacture can be a digital exchange tool in the future, and future bitcoin and cryptocurrency will be bigger and growing, for whaling problems, despite having lots of money and plans, I am sure that they will not be able to destabilize bitcoin, let all be alert and do not be influenced on what each whaling do, so what will be done them, will not affect this cryptocurrency

Yes just wait for another world breaking record for bitcoin market price in the year ending 2018. There could be some another break out and we should wait for that as we all know that bitcoin has making a loud noise on social media that even high ranking officials or influence people had some comments on it. Which means that cryptocurrency especially bitcoin is well establish. It is just that people are still looking on the right time to invest in bitcoin.

With what is happening, it is becoming a game of whales. It seems the market is under complete control. I do not even see a chance for bitcoin to grow like last year.
Let's agree that there is a game for whales but these whales will also love to see bitcoin's on high again.
And with the speculations being told for so many times which are basically positive prices, whales will have to do something for them to reach it. If you don't see a chance for bitcoin to grow same with last year, what are you planning then? Bitcoin's value is different from it's price, the value of bitcoin is growing the more people and businesses adopting it which makes the price goes up too so doubt your doubt.

What nonsense is this. The future of bitcoin will continue, what we are feeling is the technology. Ease in transactions we can feel now. For the price I think it is reasonable because the price always fluctuates, so this is not a problem.

What escape? what do you mean by that? did bitcoin put you in jail or something?

The value of Bitcoin is still very high
So you mean that the big dips aren't enough to satisfy you?

Some problems of bitcoin are difficult to solve as :
- Slow transaction speed
- consumes a lot of energy

Enough with these "problems" how about those other crypto's do they don't have their own "upgraded" coin but problems are still existing.

Did you forgot to add deaths of bitcoin?

Is there a sustainable future for bitcoin and cryptocurrency ?
If it doesn't have, why are you here? you gave the problems of bitcoin and you'll ask this?

Bitcoin will become the coin of payment as its purpose is created. Or is it just a game of whales? A financial game with winners and losers

I believe that the main problem of bitcoin is the lack of relevance of its status in many world states. The absence of legality hinders the growth of the price of the main crypto currency. The unresolved issue of regulation does not allow investors to make major contributions to the development of this coin. Once this problem is solved, for bitcoin, the path to further growth will open.

The absence of legality brought us to $20,000 from $0.10 in 9 years, I am sure that it can easily surge much more than $20,000 if it continues to be out of the radar of governments and regulations. The main reason why Bitcoin took dive downward by 70% is due to increasing pressure by governments on its use. For example, Indian Central Bank has commanded banks in India to stop giving services to local exchanges, henceforth Indian prices fell by $1600. So it is better for Bitcoin to remain outside the legal status and move freely in unregulated markets. Only this can ensure its stability in long run.
What actually requires regulation is ICO and anonymous raising of money via ETH and other cryptocurrencies.

we hope the government will have a bitcoin policy, especially now that there are many news that the government is fighting cryptocurrency, but we hope this technological innovation can be further developed for a better life.
And by "we" you mean who exactly? NOT me, that's for sure. They can go fuck themselves, those governments you talk about.
I hope they will leave bitcoin alone, not a single damn law is needed for BTC benefit nor its users. In fact i have a strong feeling that any law "they" pass will horribly harm us and bitcoin image. Judging based on socialistic trends, they will be after your stuff, your btc wallet but thanks to satoshis pure genius, it wont be as easy as they would want it to be.
As long as we stay anonymous with our wallets, there is sustainable future for bitcoin.

a lot of conflicting issues on your post...anyway, Escape path? we can really understand this statement.. Bitcoin as introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009, had gone thru a lot of things in the trading market, just look at the price value of this coin and compared it to the what has become on today's price value. Bitcoin survived the beating on the issue of Banned,Scammer, and the never ending issue on Regulation by the government agency.

The value of Bitcoin is still very high.
"high" is so abstract. high compared to what? i can say price of a Lambo is high, i want it to be worth $1 but it will never happen!

value is a concept that comes from utility and demand. and bitcoin has a lot of utility and its demand is increasing. on top of that its supply is small and also limited which makes it even more valuable.
the current price is too low considering.

Quote
Some problems of bitcoin are difficult to solve as :
- Slow transaction speed
transactions take 3 to 5 seconds to reach their  destinations so saying "slow transaction speed" is just bullshit.

Quote
- consumes a lot of energy
again "a lot" compared to what? i can say 1 KWh is a lot too and someone else can say a million times that is small.
bitcoin is not wasting the energy. it is using that energy to provide a useful utility: the one and only decentralized currency in the whole world! if it consumes 10000 times the current energy it is still worth it.

Quote
- It is banned in some countries
yeah 3 out of 195 (1.5%) have banned bitcoin. this is not a problem. even if 195 out of 195 countries have banned bitcoin it still wouldn't have been a problem because bitcoin is a decentralized currency and that is not just a word. if you don't understand what that means read about it to get how valuable it is.

Quote
- Price manipulated
price manipulation happen in every single market that have existed in human history. you can't say it is a "bitcoin problem".

bitcoin is already a currency that is being used my thousands of people every day. a lot of them are using it also as an investment but that doesn't change the fact that it is a currency.
the future is just more adoption, more growth, higher price, more stability, better features,...

LOL @ 2k or 1k NO WAY is that price ever happening again unless some sort of disaster happens in the crypto space. Just because shops will sell immediately doesn't mean the price will come down, there are plenty of people selling immediately all the time (look at miners). I think more liquidity would actually be a good thing for the market in the long run I mean that's what it's purpose is supposed to be a currency that will be traded 99% of the time....

Did you read about the bitcointalk.org member (wongjack) who wants to sell 8000 Bitcoins because he wants to get out with his $60 million after 2000% price rise.
