Wow, lots of questions! I'll try my best to address all of your concerns.
Haha, yeah well I figured better to hit you with em all at once rather than drip drip drip over a longer time by email pestering you
We try to only keep a small amount of Bitcoins in our hot wallet. This means that if you made a large deposit to a Bitcoin Video Casino address, and then tried to withdraw all of the coins, you would most likely get your own coins back from the same address you used, since there wouldn't be any other hot wallet coins available to otherwise complete the withdrawal.
Hmm so okay then seems like maybe BVC might work as a sort of poor-man's tumbler, kinda sorta, but only for very small amounts?
If you try to put 10 btc thru it, you won't get back much different bitcoin, but if you're only looking to anonymize ten bucks worth, well then it would probably kind of work, but not for sure?
If anyone has suggestions on how to tweak our Blackjack rules to keep the 0.5% house edge but enable the rules that you suggested, please let us know!
Okay I understand the need for the base game to have slightly worse rules in order to fund the progressive, but for someone like me who never plays the extra bet on the progressive how about an option for another game choice entirely without the progressive, and matching the gameplay of bitzino *but* with BVC's better graphics?
This would basically mirror my same situation in real-life, brick and mortar casinos: I NEVER PLAY the stupid "side bets" like Lucky Ladies or Perfect Pairs or any of that terrible high house-edge bullshit nonsense that Las Vegas has developed to further fleece the ignorant gambling public faster from their entertainment dollar! No Thank You: blackjack alone has enough extreme variance (but still fun game play) for me -- and I believe many other knowledgeable players -- to simply want to stick to the BASIC GAME ALONE, no sidebet, no progressive, nothing fancy but with just the best minimum-house-edge rules we can possibly find!
Again, if you guys can GIVE PLAYERS A CHOICE then you're being customer focused and RESPONSIVE to the market! That's how you will gain customers!
This is just software, right? So you can copy and paste the blackjack code, tweak it a bit, add another element to the site's user interface to choose "basic blackjack" or "progressive jackpot blackjack"... and there you go! Something for everyone!
Usually what happens is that the user's game command makes it to our server, and we continue/finish the game like we normally do, and send the result back to the user. The result unfortunately doesn't make it back to the user, so it appears that the game has hung. When we try to check the game in the database, everything appears normal on our end. The game appears to have been played normally and the user's account was credited for any wins.
...I know that this is not an ideal situation, but until we can figure out why this is happening for some users, this is the best we can do.
WELL thanks for the explanation but that's still kind of troubling. I can see how it's a problem from your end, but that doesn't do much for the player's experience here on OUR SIDE seeing the screen frozen and a (possibly big winning bet) just vanish
Anyway, hopefully you'll find some solution soon and/or REALLY HOPEFULLY it won't happen again to ME (esp. not with a big bet!)... but FYI unfortunately this is a pretty good reason for people NOT to play any really big bets on BVC: stick to pennies per hand, maybe, just in case.
We have been around for almost two years now and have absolutely no intention of cheating our users in any way. I would hope that all the previous posts on this forum about our site help show that we are legitimate.
OH, please don't misunderstand me... I am 99.9% sure you guys are totally honest. I've told a lot of people to try your website just because unlike a lot of the other online casino sites, it seems to me that YOU GUYS really are doing things honest and fair.
I've played a lot of blackjack on your site and overall the results just FEEL like what happens in a real world casino with real cards. Other than these few software type glitches (which are not deliberate, IMHO, on your part... 99% sure) I'm not saying you guys are doing anything "wrong"... just it's still a software issue that needs to be somehow solved.
Also for what it's worth, it seems to me that since you guys are trying to sell the website it wouldn't be a very good idea to cheat your players right now, since if that got proven somehow and the news got out, your chances of finding a buyer then would be ZERO... LOL
Other casino sites which are not "on the market" right now might not have a similar motive to stay HONEST, so you guys have that going for you too, versus the other sites, at the moment
Anyway thanks again for the detailed reply. HOPE my reply helps you too.
