Bitcoin came first and more worth than altcoins
If there is no any altcoin in the market, the price of bitcoin will surely increase multiple times as of the current price. Think about those people who store or buy bulk altcoins , what will happen if their money can't bought anything , just bitcoins ?
Some people are exaggerate the influence of altcoins on bitcoin market. Most of existing altcoins has zero, literally zero impact on anything.
There are maybe 3 to 4 altcoins right now developed by serious teams of people for some purpose other than pump and dump scheme.

my opinion if no altcoin then bitcoin unpredictable price, bitcoin has no comparison and the most important is bitcoin does not have a high price. because trafing bitcoin very limited without altcoin.
In my opinion the possibility of a lot of people do trading Bitcoin/Dollar or Bitcoin/local currency, so it can make bitcoin price rise very high.

In terms of price and value, well, alt coins have no match to bitcoin..But IMO, they still contribute to bitcoins success...Most of those who can't afford to buy bulk bitcoin and no rigs capable of mining bitcoin, they buy altcoins or mine them and wait til the price of those alt coin peak and then sell it and invest their profit to bitcoin, by that, bitcoin still benefit from those altcoins... But I think, even without them, bitcoin would still succeed...

I can not imagine what would happen without altcoin bitcoin. I feel that 30% of stocks held bitcoin currently exists on the market altcoin, they use it for transactions altcoin or play trade. I also have a hunch that someday one altcoin will replace the position held by the current bitcoin

for me bitcoin with altcoin is better although most are scams . developers and promoter is up for your bitcoins just for their own financial benifits
however you can you can grow your bitcoin into ten folds if you know how to trade.

You are partly right about this but the fact is that altcoins are very profitable sometimes if you trade them so I also think the price will lower a bit if there where no altcoins.
I do agree we have to many altcoins right now, but saying that we dont need any or they are all bad is too much.
Inovation is not easy, and with a big market it will happen more often them if we had only bitcoin or just a few.

Altcoins do not help bitcoins in any way.Actually it is the other way around.Without bitcoin, altcoins can not exist.Bitcoin can do without them
nope i think there are some who have a market altcoin or rate against the dollar dude. example you could trade litecoin to dollars without requiring with bitcoin? it proves that not all altcoin rely on bitcoin ?I think if altcoin missing will be little effect on bitcoin
Bitcoin without altcoin is like coffee without sugar, it is good for bitcoin to have competition to other altcoin to be exceel and really good for that is the price and exchange, many people are indulging in tradings now and thats why altcoins are really important to bitcoin.

Your wrong with that because bitcoin is the first made crypto currency and it really pump without relying on any other altcoins and their are some other altcoin made to be traded to bitcoin so that they can earn money, and truly i can say bitcoin is relying tonreal cash not in altcoins.
