Worst decision was to believe on ponzi sites and think that they would pay me. I was so lazy those days and i want to earn money without doing much effort. The only requirement on HYIP sites is money and I do have some of that. Apparently all HYIP sites and bitcoin doubler sites will eventually become a scam site.

Best decision was to hold the coins for future when the price wasnt so high maybe it was around $300 or $400 that time.
And bad decision have been to invest in ponzi schemes where i lost a lot of bitcoins when i was new to it, used to work really hard to earn them and losing them on ponzi schemes was really painful.

the worst is i bought bitcoin when its $660 and in the 3 hours later the rate is drop until $651 and in that moment i buy, i don't read anything news or take a look at the charts, i just buy, i don't know why. gezz i only wish in that moment and hope that rate is back and i can sell it to take a little bit profit. and when i login tomorrow, i see that the rate is back in $662, and i directly sold it at that rate. only little profit but i'm happy.

Haha, I totally know what you're talking about, I panic bought and sold so many times when I first got into crypto. I also used to set buy/sell orders before going to sleep and would often wake up to very bad surprises  Cheesy From time to time though I would make a nice profit, it's a pretty sweet feeling waking up and logging in to see that your order got filled overnight and that your balance is brimming with dollars/coins  Grin

my worst decision was trading my bits at the wrong time. i sold about 0.6 btc at about 450$ rate and now just after a few months of selling my btc the current btc rate is at 650$. but i think every bitcoiner has suffered from such things. another mistake was gambling some big money and loosing it all. actually i was gone crazy on that day. i did both trading and gambling on that day but nothing came in my favour. and the best desicion.. hmm i cannot remember any best decision which i might have made. lol.

Mine wasn't that bad, but investing 0.1 into Genesis mining. Im still making a generous 0.000003 a day. It was a great learning experience, I guess.
Worst decision by far was taking 3 bitcoins and putting it in CEX and
watching it slowly grind away as it was never ROI.

Best decision was buying 8.2 btc at $320 in anticipation to the halving then
selling some at $600 some at $650 and the last 2 at $700. Hoping to buy back
in if it drops into the $500's.

Congrats! What did you spend the profits on, if you did buy anything? Or are you going to hold it even further?

Don't Hesitate to Tip me for My Helps and Guides.
A Person's worst decision could be the investing bitcoin to an ponzi scam project, on a cloudmining etc..
but I was very possessive with my bitcoins. I never invested so much in any project without proper research and knowledge. so I didn't lost much.
but it didn't mean that I never took any bad decision. I also lost few bucks. but over all this is nothing.

The worst decision was to keep most of my BTC in an online wallet which I did not hold the private key. Luckily the amount was still consider small and I lost them after the online wallet went offline... Now I keep most of my BTC in offline cold/paper wallets (maybe this is also not a wise decision??)

No. now this one is wise decision you took finally.
saving money on online wallet id not really safe. this thing stated and suggested by so many peoples and so many times. but peoples are still not ready to listen this.

using online wallet like blockchain.info, coinbase and xapo is only good when you are confirm that you'll spend these coins.
but using these wallet for store big bitcoin for long time is worst thing in my openion.

The title, thread including the content is totally misleading. Not sure if you want to know the best decision I have taken with bitcoins or the worst.I will give you benefit of the doubt :

>Best Decision : Stopped Paying service taxes on all my primitive Internet Marketing Payouts after switching to bitcoin payments.

>Worst Decision : Invested and lost a good amount of bitcoins while trading altcoins.Never again.

My worst decision was to sell Bitcoin when the price was around 300$ and also some bad judgements related to trading. The best decision was to step into Bitcoin world at first place. With the time this will only bring good things.

I also did the same thing when the price $300, I sell my bitcoin. did not suspect that the price will rise very rapidly to $700. but this is not the worst my decision, the worst decision when I put money in HYIP investment sites.

My worst decision was when I thought I was smarter than others and started to do trading with very little knowledge. I lost a really big amount of coins there but I didn't stop. I immediately go to bitcasino.io and played slots to lose all of my bitcoins there. A very black day for me which I remember as it was yesterday. Now I have quit both trading and playing slots and have start from the beginning trying to collect a few bitcoin.

No worst decision yet except a few times when I rushed and the game emotions got me so I bet on some events without studying them first and lost a decent amount of bitcoin. I haven't make a worst decision regarding selling or trading my bitcoin as mainly I try to store them. But gambling is becoming something addictive to me , I guess I should stop betting on more than 1 soccer game per day. I should just focus on my tipping thread and bet on only that event I choose for the day.

The worst so far i ever had is when i sold my 1btc at $450-$460 range back to 2015 i felt so dumb until now by having that mistake.
Well, i guess thats a win win situation there. But the important here is you have learned a lesson. Some are panicking because halving is coming. Thats a good choice tho coz if what the price drpp to $10-$50 and you have not sell it? Then thats the worse decision you will ever make.

Buying Bitcoin was my best decision, but not buying more when the price was super low, will have to be my worst decision by far. I had the opportunity and the funds to buy a whole lot of bitcoins last year and I would have tripled my investment, but I chickened out. ^hmmmm^ That might not happen again soon, so I am out of luck.

The worst decision I made with my bitcoins last may this year 2016 when I deposit all of my bitcoins in a gambling site. At first it was okay since I was winning but due to the greediness within me, instead of winning I lost all of my bitcoins. It was the most wrong choice and regret ful decision I made
