we know that the bch price is still far behind the BTC, around 12x the current bch price. this is a very big value and difficult to catch, even though it can potentially occur in the future. but if bch can overtake BTC, is that the reason and purpose to make bch better than BTC?

I think Cho is possible, but in the very distant future.Bitcoin is the first and most popular cryptocurrency, and monta Bitcoincash, appeared recently.

What B.S. Nobody uses Bcash for anything. Like most other altcoins (with the exception of Ethereum and maybe Ripple), 95% of its value is purely speculative. Nobody gives a shit about bcash's "bigger blocks." They sure as hell don't get filled. The average bcash block size is much smaller that bitcoin's!

Bitcoin evolved to adapt to a problem and bcash is now just another useless fork attempting to "cash" in on the good name of bitcoin. Roger Ver should be ashamed of himself, but much like his cohort Craig "Not Satoshi" Wright, both people are biologically incapable of feeling shame.

BTC, as the spigot of crypto computerized resources, has been profoundly established in the hearts of individuals. BTC's emergency won't originate from outer rivalry COINS yet from inside. To some degree, BCC is a result of the interior clash of BTC.
Later on, if BTC keeps on committing errors and keep on differentiating, it will debilitate itself, and the outcome is to put the new cash like BCC into the mythical beast seat.

The question is not whether someone believes in bitcoin in cash, or not. Crypto-currency, it is, in fact, one of the types of business. And it should be approached as a kind of business, and not as a religion. We will simply give the opportunity to exist. different branches of bitcoins. Time will tell whether they are worthy to exist or not. If we compare the technical characteristics of many forks, then many of them far exceed the original bitcoin. For example, I like the fork of bitcoin - BTC-2. It has fast and almost free transactions, monero anonymity, a large level of scalability and so on. Of course, let's see what happens next with Bitcoin. Forks will grow only on the background of a drop in the popularity of bitcoin.
I have never heard of that BTC-2 nor I am able to google it. Can you please provide more info and maybe their webpage and explorer? Moreover, I don't see it listed on forkdrop.io either.

You can create tokens now in BCH, very similar to ETH, but not fully trustless afaik, which is good, since token creators should do some kind of PoW on their own behalf. No spam coins expected with it.

So all in all if world wide adoption should happen with equal security (on chain) I only see Bitcoin Cash being able to fulfill all needs a crypto currency could provide.

Give it some time.

I don't locate this conceivable untill bch found its place like bitcoin wherever as on exchnages and different spots. We see that each coin is tradeable to bitcoin on exchnages yet no combine is accessible on any trade so I think it won't go above bitcoin

Bitcoin Cash is effectively Bitcoin as designed and as it worked from 2009-2012.

Bitcoin Segwit (BTC) has become a Blockstream-captured frankencoin despite its high market cap.

It may stay high in value but it's not the peer to peer money I wanted.  Future belongs to BCH.

Fast-forward to present day: BCH has fallen to #4 without much progress in terms of market penetration or real-world adoption. Roger Ver stands at the brink of lunacy and the guy that wrote this post hasn't visited the site since May.

Meanwhile bitcoin's dominance of the total market cap space is on the rise, moving from about 38% at the time of Jonald's posting to its current 47%, with many of those %s coming from BCH.
I don't believe in bcash. especially with roger ver. sooner or later bcash will drop soon. what they are doing? they can only compare bcash with bitcoin core only without making innovations that attract people's attention to bcash

I treat bitcoin cash is fake bitcoin ever since it is released. But honestly I think it has done great comparing to many other forks. I wouldn't hold it for long term so I believe it won't overtake btc. But it may stay in top 10.

As i see bitcoincash was very fast and reach to the 3rd place in coinmarketcap in just only a few months do you guys think that bitcoincash can overtake bitcoin in the future? How long do you think?

Maybe for BHC its bit hard to overtake bitcoins. Even it happen it will take some long time maybe few years. But still i am with bitcoin. I haven't use bitconcash yet but its trading is increasing for btc. It was once pumped to 0.5 BtC but that was only for 30 mins or so. Other than that its is steady between 0.013 to 0.02 BTC.

No it will not overtake Bitcoin ever. Even if it has gains exceeding the gains of Bitcoins sometimes, it has the losses exceeding the losses of Bitcoin too. It will always be around 10% value of Bitcoin.

for me bitcoin cash is only another altcoin that only reached this high position on cmc, because of he had "bitcoin" in the name. without it, i think this fork would not be so successful and i hope, bch will never replace the real bitcoin.

I do not find this possible untill bch did find its place like bitcoin everywhere as on exchnages and other places. We see that every coin is tradeable to bitcoin on exchnages but no pair is available on any exchange so i think it is not going to go above bitcoin

BTC is still the daddy. Sure they could try again but this will just accelerate BTCs timeline for upscaling. This failed coup has only strengthened BTCs position and proved its resilience.

I see BCH as a very risk investment. There are times it pumps like crazy however it will not be real BTC and value will  not pass BTC.

bcash is in an interesting position right now. if they really want to go places they need to start bringing things to the table beyond just being low fee. let's see some real development and a real reason why anyone should be using it.

and since it forked before the mad rush they can no longer roll out the 'you have both so it doesn't matter which wins' narrative any more. there'll be millions of bitcoin users who don't have any bcash and they'll need an extremely compelling reason to consider buying any. i don't see anything yet.

In my opinion, bitcoin cash is the most successful fork of bitcoin where many big developers who support such fork like bitcoin.com so I do not worry bitcoin cash will fall. But, I do not think that bitcoin cash will overtake bitcoin positions in CMC, it takes a huge volume of transactions to increase investor confidence as well as improve ranking positions in CMC
