I am usually an open-minded person, but i find my self unable to accept any argument defending BCH.
A cloned coin can never overtake the original one.
BCH is not even a clone, it is centralized and censored which make really unuseful and can't compete with Bitcoin.
Furthermore, BCH devs do not even have enough imagination to use their own name.

BCH will not overtake BTC because the community support that BTC has is unmatched to any other coin.

BTC is the reason for so many cryptocurrencies today and no matter the scaling problem that is affecting it right now, it is here to stay. And remember that BTC is not just a cryptocurrency or just a coin, it is an idea.

BitcoinSN - The Real Bitcoin!!!
No bitcoin is the king of the crypto market and Bitcoin cash is next to the bitcoin. And I don't think it is easy for the bitcoin cash to replace the bitcoin because the bitcoin's demand and popularity have made the people crazy about it and now depend on that BCH will take a huge time to come and stand next to the bitcoin's place.

Sorry, I do not see bitcoin cash overtaking bitcoin in future.

I certainly agree. I am not really updated with crypto information everyday but I also think that a copy-cat is still a copy-cat and won't really last long. Sooner or later it will find its real place in the crypto world.

Absolutely not, bitcoin cash can't take the bitcoins' place.
I can't understand how people can be so easily mislead and fed with false information. Bitcoin cash maybe has its moment of glory but this will not last for long and it will burst like bubble. It's just another fork product that has no future. I can't believe that some tiny small profit is everything that people are interested in. Think with your own head, don't let  be misguided.

I no longer accept BCore Coin without an additional $200 fee.

Bitcoin Cash is Bitcoin as far as I'm concerned.

BCore has been privately under attack by its own community since October when the Wiki came under attack by MidnightMagic.

Bcore is being dropped by services and charities all over the internet.  Pineapple Fund recently dropped Bitcoin Core as well.  (https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/7lnu9w/pineapple_fund_update_homes_in_haiti_education/?st=jbmj0xiz&sh=1a425cb9)

When you can't even give away something that is supposed to be money... you have a problem.

If you really think that bitcoin cash is much more better than bitcoin, then you really have a mess inside your head... came on, how the fuck could it be better than bitcoin? You seriously do not understand anything guys..

The only thing that came out of my mind is bcc is controlled by some big names and if this coin surpassed btc then we might lose the essence of crypto as it can be played by some people behind, I still believed that bitcoin will survived and bcc will remain as an alt who's trying to gain much attention.

There is no way that bitcoin cash could be better than bitcoin, came on guys, bitcoin cash is just a forked coin, and it is managed by roger and the mining pools, if you really think that it could be much more better than bitcoin in the future, you should really try to understand how bitcoin works and why it has been attacked by bcash lately.

Bitcoin Cash jumped up to #3 due to the difficulty for Bitcoin Cash lowered and all the miners jumped to that chain. That's one reason why the Bitcoin network was clogged up, along with the flood of transactions for the holidays. The miners jump back and forth to try to capitalize on their profits, to the detriment of both chains. Once its profitable to mine Bitcoin again they'll jump back onto Bitcoin chain and Bitcoin Cash will drop down again. Been a cycle since it started in August.

Bitcoin Cash is a test. Test for Bitcoin. I have to agree with the user "European Central Bank" - if a bunch of greedy guys can bring down Bitcoin, one can only imagine what a coordinated attack from governments and central banks could do.

Bitcoin cash may sweep some value of bitcoin but it will never be the true bitcoin.

If you think it may happen it may be a good idea to stock up on some bitcoin cash.

It is very impossible for bcash to surpass bitcoin because of so many reasons. A lot of coins can even replace bitcoin cash in terms of its use but it will never replace bitcoin. Also, the fork of bitcoin cash doesn't have any specific goal other than to replace bitcoin long ago because of its popularity. If ever bcash did surpass bitcoin, then the market will be monopolized and that will be unfortunate for us traders.

Well, if Roger Ver keeps going on on mainstream TV telling all the idiots with money and with not so much money as well, to buy BCash because it's the real Bitcoin, we may see it go #2 rather soon. Don't under estimate the power of marketing, and don't underestimate the power of idiots and manipulators.

I hope Bitcoin never loses #1 spot, it would be a disaster for crypto. It would show that with enough resources, you can manipulate a market to overtake Bitcoin's marketcap with all the FUD nonsense about small blocks, Core, segwit, and even buying a fake satoshi for the gig. Pathetic.

if it can then i'd sell everything and walk away. it would prove that bitcoin was a failure if a fork put together by a bunch of crooks with a lot of money and mining power can usurp the original chain.

just imagine what government level resources could do if they turned their attention to it. nothing in crypto would be a safe enough bet.

if it was the organic choice of the users then that's one thing, but the blockchain spamming, shilling, wash trading and coordinated attacks with bitcoin difficulty changes tell us that is anything but the case.

You lead and I'll watch you walk away.
Cryptos are just speculation/day trader toys. If you want proof of that, use the last month of volatility as an example. Any commodity that can increase or decrease in value by 50% in a week or two is being completely controlled by speculation. If these same traders decide they want to speculate on something else, like BCH, then it will overtake bitcoin. It’s simple as that.

Oh, don’t try to tell me bitcoin is this great new money that everyone is spending like mad creating the volume. That is provably false. Bitcoins use as money for eCommerce is dropping not increasing.

Morgan Stanley‘s DBA business analyst James Faucette backed his argument with this chart of online retailers who accept bitcoin, titled "Virtually no acceptance, and shrinking":
