All I can predict from a quick look at those pairs above is that a both to score and over 2.5 is a good option for all of them in a nice multi bet slip

They're isn't really many games I'm that excited about this round. PSG v RB Leipzig on Tuesday and Inter v Real on Wednesday maybe but I wouldn't be bothered if I missed them. Much better match-ups in the December rounds: Man United v PSG, ATL V Bayern etc.

Happy with my results and managed to only fall one place to second. I didn't expect Man United to lose. I wonder if Ollie's head is on the chopping block again. A loss to Arsenal at home last weekend and they're playing Everton away this week which could be tough though Everton have lost two games in a row but that could add more fuel to the fire if United lose as it's not going to luck good if that happens. I think I'll go for a draw in that game.


Well I don't know much about most teams either. Haven't even heard of a few this year and I'm doing alright.

actually, expected that, even expected from Dynamo to took a point, it was a tough start, and Dynamo was good (maybe could say really good, bearing in mind the opponent in the second half), or i just a have a sympathy for Ukrainians in CL
usually do not comment on referee, but the penalty was a bit questionable for me, those defenders were merely just standing there, and he just jumped into them, it would not be a penalty for Dynamo, pretty sure on that

what caught me by surprise is Leipzig, expected more from PSG, now they could even stand out from kick-out phase, Manchester is good to play against them, what you just pointed out, and they are three points down, this Istanbul loss could be an expensive one for Manchester United in the end, if they lose home match with ParisSG

Same here, this 2 days of CL football were very profitable for me. I erased all the recent losses and the year ROI is firmly back in the green. Now just to keep it that way until actual end of the year

Some very strange games today. United lost and confirmed once again that they are unable to play well when they need to actually build the attacks. Perfect squad to make money on, pick them when they are outsiders and avoid them or bet against them when they are favourites. Their defending on both goals was comical look it up.

Barca having problems against decimated Dynamo squad. Barca could have scored 4 goals in first 15 minutes but after that Dynamo could have even won the match. Try to find compilation of both goalkeepers actions in this match. They were by far best players in the teams.

WTF I just did today ? I was sure that I left predictions for games, but when early matches was already in play, I noticed that I haven't left any predictions. It's pity, because I had Zenit 1:1 Lazio in my mind. What is even more ridiculous that when I made my predictions for late games just few minutes before kick-off, I mistyped 3:4 In Chelsea Rennes game, instead of 3:1. It's good lesson for me..
At least this round is very profitable for me in betting.

Gotta agree with cryptofrka here. I know people say Bobby should be scoring more but you watch the games and see how he just opens channels up for the other two, linking them and drawing away defenders, plus there isn't any striker who does as much defending as he does. Positive defending, winning the ball, forcing errors... you still don't see Jota have the same telepathy especially not with Salah or Mane yet. He starts against City, I'm sure of it. Jota to mix things up and yes, nice to have him as an option but for me, I like Mane/Salah/Bobby together. There is really no substitute yet.

Oh, and damn. My Lazio +0.5 looks like it's going down the drain. Heh. Way to start a parlay! And United, hmm.

Nah, probably not. Firmino is really important, he does a lot of dirty work for Salah and Mane. He's having trouble scoring and it's great that Jota is here to provide another option, but I feel Firmino is really safe - at least for now.

I'd argue he's one of Liverpool's most important players and although I agree he should be scoring more, he's the reason why Liverpool's been playing so fluidly in attack. Jota has shown a lot of great things since his arrival but I expect Firmino against City on Sunday.

What an evening in Champions League, this is why we watch football. So many great games and so many nice goals. If this continues tomorrow I am sure we will break some most goals scored ever record.

I was waiting for Real to win and Bayern to cover -1.5 handicap for nice amount and thought everything has gone against me around 70th minute. Both Inter and Salzburg equalized in matter of minutes but it all got much better soon enough Looking forward to games tomorrow.

@big_daddy, nice analysis. I just want to give my input about Shakhtar - I wouldn't say that they are in perfect series. Yes, win against Real and draw against Inter is great result. But they aren't doing very well in national league, 4 draws mainly against weak teams, while usually they don't have serious competitors there other than Dynamo Kyiv. But I'm backing them tonight, also it seems that almost all their player recovered from Covid and will play tonight.
Ajax will miss some players today, but I think they still should win this game. I also will back Liverpool, Atalanta doesn't looks so good now. It should be great game.
I would like to see Inter winning, but it will be very difficult without Lukaku.

Prediction & match day one:

Lokomotiv is in a series of three defeats, Atletico won three matches and their mutual duels are in Atletico's favour as well, I think that the tradition will not be broken tonight

Shakhtar is in a perfect series, they haven't not lost a single game this season. Borussia M'gladbach plays a little weaker on away games, the host can win this tonight, but Borussia is able to score.

Both matches of Salzburg in the Champions League were very efficient, RB Salzburg has scored a lot of goals this season, Bayern is even more efficient and can score even more goals, so here, an over, both to score and Bayern to win can be a single for my ticket today

I just hope that Real Madrid is still in a crisis, and waiting Inter to exit with some balls on the field tonight

Manchester City has two sure victories in the Champions League, Olympiacos showed a lot of weaknesses in the previous away game
City is in a six-game unbeaten streak, they should take this one as well, with a handicap

Porto is playing significantly better this season at home, Marseille was defeated both times in the Champions League without scoring a goal
Porto won four of their five games and I think that will take this 3 points tonight as well

Midtjylland easily scores and concedes goals this season, Ajax has been very efficient in the last four games
Those rivals conceded goals in both Champions League matches
Ajax should take this duel, cause it's maybe the last chance to grab some points and secure their position for the UEFA League, cause they will probably finish third in their group

Atalanta has already scored six goals in the first two rounds of the Champions League and Liverpool is not shining this season and is conceding goals easily
Atalanta could take advantage of Liverpool's absences 
An over scored and both to score, yes, but I donno who can take this win, maybe a draw, but I would like to see Liverpool as a winner tonight of course

it is obvious that match in Madrid should draw much attention, but i will try to watch Bavarian giant in Salzburg, just for goals and open match sake, maybe would even try with some more goals, over4.5 or more, since i expect goals from home side as well
regarding other matches, Liverpool depend on the importance that away team will give to this game, and Real has to win, and i think they will win tonight, but that does not seem as interesting to watch

regarding first two, will oversee match in Kyiv, could be a good one, as Shakhtar does not have home advantage, and that was felt against Inter, probably will be the same tonight, but it is good to see attendance on the stadium, and that is why i will oversee it in the background, nevertheless, expect Ukrainians to win tonight

I had big troubles choosing the picks for this week. There is a lot of games which can go wither direction. I just opted for gut feeling over research to make things easier for myself.

I am looking forward to Liverpool game tonight. This one could be profitable to make a bet on but will wait for the line ups before actually putting any money on it. Atalanta is a good team and their games are full of goals so over goals and both to score bets look like nice bargain. I am bit concerned that Liverpool could decide to give a rest to some key players. They have an easy group so not every point is a must while they have to play against City in few days. If that happens I will look to pounce on some juicy Atalanta odds.

There are few reasons for me not to join this year.
1. Having only 3 points sucks where the others have 40+ points
2. I will have very busy time in the coming weeks so not sure about watching many games except Liverpool's
3. I really do not have much idea about other teams than English teams.

So, I decided to pass this year but hopefully in the next year I will not miss it.

Don't forget the Champion's League games tonight and tomorrow. Half the pool hasn't done theirs yet. I'll probably watch the Real Madrid V Inter match, though Liverpool is tempting. No games I'm that interested in tomorrow but might watch the Barca V Kiev just to see if Barca spank them. Hopefully I can keep onto my number one spot but I'm not that confident about my picks this round and rushed them a bit. Might have to go over them at some point today.


Turns out he only got 3 points which is a shame. I think you could still play though. Some weeks people get next to zero points so winning something is still achievable though I would understand if you didn't want to play on. Maybe play up until I collect the money in and see how well you do. Won't hurt to give it a go.

Like I said, I think you get 14 free picks but that's for the Premier League at least. Depending on what they picked you could get a fair few points from them. No harm in trying though. Bottom person is on 22.5 and there's only 12 people in the pool so it wouldn't be that difficult to move up the board. I'm sure one or two will drop out/not pay as well. I'll PM you the link shortly.
