Farewell LEO: o_e_l_e_o

Yeah we really should have scored 4 or 5, Salah is really off form at the moment isn’t he? Nothing he does is coming off. Another win though & as Napoli drew we’re top of the group now. If we beat Napoli in the next game we win the group with one game to spare.
I know! In the FJM, I am picking him for last few weeks and he is disappointing me everytime. In fact once I had 4 correct pick out of 7 and if Salah would score then I could have 5 and in that case I think I would win 30mBTC. I was really that close 😥

Talking about the next two matches, I think we will win both. It's hard to stop us any both EPL and CL.

Quote
Now onto possibly the biggest game of the season, City at home. Win & we open  9 point gap.
Less than 48 hours left for the biggest showdown of this ELP season. A win will be like bitcoin to $100k LOL

Life, Love and Laughter...
I just threw .003 at Chelsea to win the CL at 33.  Lolol.  But seriously, after what they showed vs Ajax, I think Lampard is a great motivator that could guide them to the finals (with a little luck in the draws ofc).

@cryptofrkaI wish I still followed my local team, but after I left home, AND the entire team I supported and grew up with all got caught together doing drugs, they were all banned for life, replaced by new faces. We relegated, and I simply stopped following. I watch a game now and then but it's just hopeless so many scars.

@big_daddy also Thank you guys also for the explanations. I was aware, but not fully aware (and probably never will be). But football in my home country is also extremely politicised, and for that same reason us fans are always frustrated and angry... and worse of all, helpless.

Man I hate when football gets me down. Thank god for the weekend.

Guys, what's up with karma and Dinamo Zagreb? I don't know enough about Croatia football, so can you tell us more about their sins? Is it something related with shady things that Mamic was doing?

Yep, exactly. Mamic basically controlled the football association, sold his players through the national team and destroyed all other clubs that stood in his way. He even managed to put Lokomotiva, Dinamo's feeder club into First division claiming they are 2 separate clubs which we all know they are not so you have the weirdest situation ever where in the same league you have let's say Chelsea and Chelsea U23 teams. And yea, they play each other. For points Grin

I can understand the frustration with Mamic, but Dinamo is a symbol of Croatian football and its history surpasses Mamic by far. It is regionally a huge club and I am glad they are getting rid of Mamic (he cannot enter Croatia anymore but still has a ton of influence there) and getting back on track. This win would have been huge for that and I am really sorry they did not get it.

first of all, sorry for the offtopic, but I have to add this:

not only Mamic,
Davor Suker, the head of CFF is corrupted more than Platini...

The story with Lokomotiva made me such a good money betting on 1/2 or 2/1 HT/FT, cause years earlier, their Head-to-Head was a sure bet to catch odds like @25 up to @30, also the X/2 or X/1 (depending on Dinamo Home or Away to win in the second half)

Now in the 1.HNL we have 10 teams, 4 of them almost from the same city (area)
The referees are mostly from the central/continental Croatia, the one from Rijeka is a Dinamo supporter, so we can't count on him for a decentralization  Cool

I've prepared a graphic explanation of the Cro league with the connections, you will understand

Damn, I'm doing so bad in CL pool, I dropped to 14 place. Probably it's time to focus on EPL pool...

which clubs comes to your mind besides Juventus?

PSG, Man. City, Man. UTD, Chelsea, Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern - to name a few just from the top of my head.

Most of them have much bigger sins than Dinamo, you might dislike Dinamo because of the fact it ruined many clubs in Croatia and made its dominance through shady business, but if you dig just a bit below the surface you will find it in most leagues and most top clubs.

That's modern football for you. Eat or be eaten. I don't like it but it's what it is.

it's a boomerang bro, called karma  Cool

Well, yeah.. I agree you can call it that. But you can throw that boomerang to most domestically dominant clubs in world football.

I'm going to bet on Dinamo and Atalanta to score almost one goal
And probably a single with Dinamo to win, but I'm waiting the live odds after the lineups

What a crazy game for Dinamo yesterday, we saw 6 goals and few turn overs. My bet both to score passed easy and early, just the way I like it. Too bad Dinamo didn't manage to hold on their 2 goals lead.

You almost had the 3 exact points on 3-1... my prediction was 2:1 offtopic: SvesevraćaSveseplaća Wink

As a Dinamo fan, that was really painful to watch. A really good game for football fans in general but a tragic one (again) for Dinamo supporters.

That club is cursed, no other explanation.

Wow. So even when I somehow manage to trump big_daddy, I only get 0.5 points more than him... and STILL can't get yellow cap haha. 20 points to our yellow hat, but a poor return overall for most of us I guess.

Still sort of regret not going for Juventus 2-1 and Bayern 3-0 or I'd have an extra 5.5 points. Changed mind and there you go. I do feel special for collecting full points on Atalanta though. Mo Salah would have been even more special if his Atalanta win happened. True Liverpool fan there haha.

2 more group games means 32 more games, guys.

Sorry cryptof. I remember being Liverpool for the past 20 years, so I get you. Kind of =)

very happy to be the leader 4 weeks in a row, with 7.5 points advance  Cool
congratilations to Leea-1334 for the Yellow cap

the next 2 group games will be more difficult than the previous 4, cause there are some qualified teams and can be lot of calculations, as always

I'm only Liverpool, also for 20-ish so I know that pain too well Grin

Dinamo is my local team, I go to some games, was not there yesterday. As a Croat, I want them to do well and I support them, but Liverpool is the only club whose games I do not miss.
Dinamo has a history of silly losses, so these 2 combined.. well, yeah. Ain't easy Grin

Also lost so many points yesterday in the last 5 minutes. Still satisfied with overall result though.

That was a crazy two nights, although I guess last night was more predictable. Only Atalanta was the surprise result for me, since all the big guys won last night (PSG were unlucky not to have a few goals for me).

I'm in 17th place now, I wonder if I should just finish off the rest of the group stages the way I have been. I actually follow some local picks here because he did well last season but blahblah:)

@examplens, was a good night for me indeed, but see what happens when I go against the grain and 2 games later I'm back in 10th!

But I prefer to suck in Superbru and win in betting;) Was so happy with my Ajax/Inter parlay at half-time, leading each game by 2 goals. And then we all know what happened haha.

Not quite sure what I'm doing tonight though, I've got 2 bets on underdogs =D

Damn me.
