Yup, we're doing quite good.

Maybe Trofo will regret telling us about this pool, he'd be joint leader if it wasn't for the 2 of us. Grin

But I'm not that good this season, I'm still out of top 10 currently lol I do not remember my position on the last pool but I think I finished on top 10.
This season seems harder for me, not only in this UCL but also in the EPL pool.
UCL has just finished the group stage, means there are less matches and less points to grab. I have to be realistic in this UCL pool so I think I'll be focusing on the EPL pool more.

Group stage of Champions league finnished and it means that significantly less matches left. @big_daddy is still leading solid and I think it will be almost impossible to reach him. Unless he will forget to make predictions one day Cheesy.
Personally, I stuck in the middle of table, but I'm still relatively close from Top 5.
Playoff draw is on Monday. What pair would you like to see? Personally, I would like Real Madrid getting something big like Bayern, City or LFC. And Atalanta for Barcelona Cheesy.
Teams going through for next rounds

England          Liverpool, Manchester City, chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur

Spain            Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Valencia

Italy             Juventus, Atlanta, Napoli

Germany        Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig

France          PSG, Lyon

Just five countries no teams from Neitherland, Portugal, Belgium and Denmark its very sad as just these few countries controlling this all for many years.

Only Inter Milan are a big team that doesn't qualify for the next round after being toppled by Barcelona,
Clubs from 5 countries will fight over the UCL trophy, from which country club will be the UCL champion.
My prediction is from England - Liverpool again.

I love a good competition and will do my best to put the pressure on you guys till the very end. I won it last year and you know what they say: It is easier to win the title than to defend it.

These pools are very good confirmations of my betting stats. I always have best results on CL and these pools show it. Now I need a pool for tennis to test that part as well.

The big mystery for me is Bayern vs Tottenham game.
In first game Bayern destroyed Tottenham, but now can be a totally different story. Bayern has some problems and bad results in Bundesliga also fired the manager. They going from first place to the next stage there is no need to effort. Tottenham as if coming out of a crisis, plus new unpredictable element - Mourinho, they don't like to lose big games. I am thinking they can win in Munich, but odds is 7:1 on Tottenham wins.
So, what are you think, can we expect something more from this match?

Is there anything interesting tonight's match at UCL unlike last night there was a lot of excitement in competing to qualify for the next round but tonight I guess it's not like last night maybe I'll watch Tottenham vs Bayern and Madrid vs Brugge matches

Life, Love and Laughter...
So only 8 games left of group stage and I managed to keep my position on the table, just below Sojourner by 0.5 points. big daddy you are far away and probably can survive 8 more games except if guys like Trofo have another huge round!

Oh and Wow I saw buwaytress and big daddy both guessed exactly right in last night's Champions League games total goals contest. I guessed 20 so by 70th minutes already I saw I was wrong. Well done buwaytress you totally nailed it.

Yup, it's almost done.  And it's gonna be pretty hard climbing to the top 5 at the KO stages and beyond imo.  Fixtures will come fewer and fewer...

Inter Milan failed to qualify for the last 16 but Dortmund won over Slavia Prague, unlucky Inter lost last night and this is true that many have fallen from its bets, but indeed Barcelona is a strong team that is not easy to beat.
Tonight I will try to bet Bayern v Tottenham and like Spurs will win.  Smiley Smiley

Great night for Liverpool, but not so god for Inter, so for the CL, I have only Liverpool to support until the end  Wink

Lot of goals tonight?
Yes  Cool

Do not forget to pick your best scores
Good luck to all, especially to Inter and Liverpool  Wink

Thanks big daddy, what was your prediction for Liverpool? I know you got a good nose for Superbru CL;)

I'm starting another long parlay involving Liverpool in 3 games in 2 competitions, beginning with this one. Caught it when odds were still 2/1 too (now is 18/10). We need to win, and we'd like to do it by the first half so I suspect we could be in for some heavy metal football. Especially if some of our less regular starters play. They'll be hungry.

Predicted 23 goals in the Sportsbet contest, but my Superbru predictions have 28 goals =p

Well, I did it  Grin
Still first on top, it was tricky, but I was lucky on some pics

Congrats to Trofo for the yellow cap and cryptofrka for +6 positions on the leadingboard

It was a night of Croats Grin
We dominated this round, top 3 positions with 0,5 points difference between us. Let's continue like this, huh? Grin

This was indeed a good night for Croats, the three of us did very well in the pool and most of the Croatian players involved in games did really well. Modric had a performance which reminded all what he is capable off, Rakitic got nice time on the pitch and he was also good after shaking the rust of in first few minutes, Perisic came on and assisted the goal immediately, Lovren scored a very important one for Liverpool, Brozovic pulled another 90 minutes for Inter (I expect he was as good as usual didn't watch a minute of this one).

Anyway all that was needed to balance the Croatian football scales after bad performance from Dinamo Smiley
