Nobody could really predict what will happen to the bitcoin price in the future. But in my opinion, bitcoin will slowly lose it's dominance over the other coins, because it's tech is outdated. The fees and confirmation times are not acceptable except for speculating peoples, there is no way it could be used for daily purposes. The "normal" people will slowly learn that fact, and will turn to other coins, better suited for real world use.
Also, the energy required for mining bitcoin is a strong concern, I don't think it is sustainable. In the long term, the world needs a more energy efficient crypto.
So, this is just my opinion, but if nothing is done, bitcoin could lose much of it's value in the future, and others coins would benefit of that.

Well at the current decline rate, the BTC price may go lower than $10000 but I expect a rebound this year and we'll see higher prices than in 2017

Bitcoin will be up to 30k $ per 1 BTC till the end of 2018 year. Current correction is predictible - there is no markets that could grow up without corrections

Proper education will makes your more confident in this kind of market. Bitcoin will never be back at $2k level we must be more realistic. Dumping is part of the game there is no easy road but if you look at the long term possibilities you will see a big potential for bitcoin to soar higher.

I agree with you. You need to have the knowledge on how bitcoin goes in the market and what is the history of bitcoin in the first place. 2K is far enough to reach even at 7-8K is almost impossible to happen, no matter how the bitcoin will always bounceback.

High fees = low BTC price

Nope that will never happen.
Bitcoin will not go down lower than 10.000$

Why or have you got to sell the house if that happens ?

Not only can i see it going below $10,000 today but i can see transactions fees going over $50 as people start to
bail out which is not bad for miners since a year ago the fees were like ten cents

Clearly the bitcoin development team didn't put safeguards in place to stop miners charging us what they
want and long term this is whats killing Bitcoin

market crash is normal, whenever it happens everyone sell their cryptocurrency and they buy again when it start growing . but you know ?
this is right time to invest , Invest in altcoins like ripple , bitcoincash and many more to double your profit , they will not drop to last.
bitcoin will not going below 8000$ its the last stage. once market will be stable every thing will be fine and people will get profit from every coin.
just pray to god and tweet that we support bitcoins to the all media channels of South korea

I don't believe in such predictions. The proliferation of cryptocurrencies has been so successful because in the world there is a demand for an alternative to Fiat. This gives me confidence in the fact that the fall in prices is a temporary phenomenon. The demand produces the supply. Now speculators will buy coins and the price will rise to $ 20,000. I would not be surprised if at the end of the year we will see the price of 30-50K per bitcoin.

I don't think that the price will be down for that price although everything is possible, I think the price will increase back to higher. but this time, I see the price makes people panic because they are not expecting to see this dropped off the price. but I think this year, bitcoin will attract many people and they will buy bitcoin before the price increase higher.

Though bitcoin price is now low but bitcoin price never get down at $1800. I don't think so. Bitcoin price increasing again and hit 20k at the end of 2018. Bitcoin demand still is in better position. Hope that bitoin price hit a big amount again.

Yeah I agree. That value is not acceptable with our current situations. We are hoping that it will go up as more people are now getting more interest on bitcoin.
Anyway its only there speculations, everyone can do it. I'm expecting the price will be @ $18k to $20k by year end.

Nobody can give a sure shot value because the Crypto market is quite uncertain and we never know the next move Here. So it won't be right to give an exact value.

According to me, the price may not hit such a high and a dip is expected. Rest nothing is guaranteed here in the Crypto market.

All the predictions of the bitcoin cost rate, this is a finger tapping into the sky.
No one can accurately predict it.
You can talk about the perspective of the price in some time interval.

Yes, bitcoin is dropping these days but it does not mean that it will go down for $1000 in the end of this year. Maybe it is what Robert Shiller are trying to say that it is just a bubble thought he predicted the market bubble on 2003 but on bitcoin its a different one. Dropping of its price is a matter of fluctuation happening in the market, it is affected by the law of demand and supply so it must increase and decrease what just really happening now is demand for bitcoin is quite less than last year.

I highly doubt that it will even go below $8,000... unless there's some really bad news that would destroy the faith of most holders.
