It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.
The Unofficial Bitcointalk's Discord Server! Happy BTC Pizza day! Created by Cyrus!
Happy Bitcoin Pizza day! You can't celebrate this day properly without Bitcoin themed homemade pizza. Have a slice! Yummmmy!! I cant joined the contest, so I just bought the same brand laszlo bought with his 10,000BTC but mine came from my small chunk of BTC together with two roll cake from Red Ribbon only in the Philippines. Its nice to eat Pizza buying your BTC but of course I converted it first to fiat cause its not really accepted yet on Papa John's Pizza Bon apetit. Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day I'll join No worries! A lot of the users on the Discord server are first time users of it. Its quite simple, and easy to get the hang of. Will be nice to have you on board I've never used Discord before I've never used Discord before, but I'll join and I've outsourced the pizza making to my wife. Lockdown for the win That's a win win in my eyes. You get a delicious pizza, and potentially more Bitcoin in the family. Smart. The deal is: if she wins, she sets up her own Bitcoin wallet. Until now, she's always rejected that. Here is the process. I've experimented a bit with some new 00 type flour, and that is always an extra challenge as each flour is a bit different and needs different hydration percentage. Nevertheless, pizza was tasty and that's what is most important after all My personal favourite so far. Looks like you've cooked it to perfection if only you did deliveries Whoohoo, nice work Rikafip, hopefully this contest will drag more people to the server. About Skype and Yahoo, unfortunately I still have friends who use it mainly because they are still using facebook and I have been trying to convince people to move, but my regret is Telegram has become a spam fest, something that never happened on Skype or Yahoo. So I gave up Telegram actually and returned to Skype. Maybe it is a culture/region thing also?
Nice Pizza Rikafip! A blow to the stereotype that bitcoin people are incapable of normal things:) Whoohoo, nice work Rikafip, hopefully this contest will drag more people to the server. Thanks iasenko, I hope so too. I wanted to break the ice and encourage others to join and share their pizzas . Even if they never made pizza before, what better time to do so than 10 years anniversary of that famous pizza purchase? To make pizza bad/inedible is almost impossible anyway, so why not give it a go . As long as you make dough properly and don't kill the yeast with salt/hot water (rookie mistake that happens) you are good. Unless you make pineapple pizza

Duly noted! I announced the contest in Games and Rounds to be fair to others that might want to participate: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-pizza-day-contest-on-discord-5250227Let the Bitcoin Pizza Day bake off begin!
The pizza making contests starts tomorrow, we have a separate channel for the contest.
There will be prize too, check our Discord Server. I'm not the one who should make the announcement here, hello? -snip- Good idea. The only useful thing for ICQ, AIM, MSN, YIM info is to write random sentences there. For the moment, members who joined discord can put their names there in "Other contact info". Later switching ICQ...Maybe remove AIM, MSN and Yahoo Messanger and replace them with discord, IRC, SLACK, Telegram etc. It'd be fitting to be able to verify your username this way. YIM by reddit, discord +/- other social media largely used by the community would be great. -snip- Good idea. The only useful thing for ICQ, AIM, MSN, YIM info is to write random sentences there.
