Now look what you've done yobitters, you broke Switzerland. Keep an eye for them flying pigs and for ice in unexpected places. Stay safe and Merry Christmas.
Safe to say Lauda's post is older Smiley

I don't think I have it in my archives, and Lauda deleted a lot of posts. So it might be gone.

1. In one word, sum up your personality.
Switzerland.
I sure do not understand what this is  Grin I've thought about it over and over again[Switzerland is one of my favorite countries] you speak in parables.
It's a name Lauda came up with for me, and it's grown on me. Unfortunately, I can't find back that post. (anyone?)
Being Switzerland also earned me the name Marcel.

Questions

1. In one word, sum up your personality.
Switzerland.

If someone on the internet is mean to you: boo fucking hoo! Use the Ignore button, and forget about them.
being offended is a choice of the receiver, and honestly I'm offended by people who want to limit their own freedom of speech out of fear that someone might get his feelings hurt on the internet! Oh noes!

It's okay to offended people! Offensive jokes are often funny. Don't let SJW decide what you're allowed to say or even think!

Trying to be nice doesn't hurt you, but don't let someone's made up feelings stop you from speaking your mind.

3. Aside from personal text, what other methods do you use to motivate people on this forum?
Sarcasm is my favourite, but Merit works too. Or negative feedback, getting people banned, or just helping them. It really depends on the situation.

I'll leave when I'm dead.

5. On the forum, who inspires you the most and why?
I don't think I have any favourites left. A certain Donator who I thought was a big deal here when I was a Newbie turned out to be narcissistic and power hungry.
Many users have contributed a lot to this forum.

6. How would theymos and other members of the forum describe you?

7. What would happen to Bitcoin if Satoshi appeared out of nowhere? ( Is this a threat? If yes, please explain why; if no, please explain why.)
I know many people fear Satoshi will dump a million Bitcoin on the market and destroy the price. That's not something I'm afraid of, if Satoshi wanted that, he would have done it by now. So it may cause some FUD, but that will fade again and Bitcoin will continue to grow stronger. And even if Satoshi would dump his coins, it only means it moves into the hands of more different people, reducing the power a single individual holds over the market. One way or another, I think it's a win if Satoshi shows up.
@Satoshi: I wouldn't mind having a talk some day, even though I currently have no idea what to say.

8. Which would you choose if you had the option to rescue either the 3 million-strong Bitcointalk forum or a loved one? And why is that?
That's a dumb question. I'd sacrifice anyone to rescue my kids, so obviously I have no problem nuking a server. I have a backup though.

Thank you for your concern, but the interview is for inductees only as long as this thread is concerned, your personal text looks great but someone must nominate you to be considered a member of the Hall.

I must say a big thanks to OP for an opportunity to educate and be educated by means of an interview such as this. I never knew someone did put out my personal text as something of worth, it did me proud and I like the initiative. I do my best to be purre and unbias in my replies. Okay, down to it,

1. In one word, sum up your personality.
I am Enigmatic

2. What is the underlying message of your personal text?
The world never stops spinning, why should you!
I could write a book of this but then, it is basically centered on, never giving up. The earth is besieged with forces and yet it still spins. There is no reason, no challenge and no amount of failure that should make you give up on your goal and passion, its archiveable.

3. Aside from personal text, what other methods do you use to motivate people on this forum?
There are very few ways of motivating users on the forum, one of it is what the forum has provided which is merit and on a personal,
Words of advise, to ensure that the beginners feel at home by letting them know there phobia of the forum is a self acquired and I do my best in redirecting and creating threads that are motivation centered.

4. Do you think you'll be a member of the forum in the next five years? (If not, what are the reasons?)
For sure I will be here for many years to come. Bitcointalk forum for me now is more than just where I come to gain crypto knowledge, contribute and make a few bucks when if I can when I can. Its a lifestyle and I'm addicted to it as at now and it would take a lot to get me off this path, this lifestyle.

5. On the forum, who inspires you the most and why?
I. DdmrDdmr : You know, when I first got to the forum, this is one of the user I first noticed. He always has ideas about everything and you can find this user active in about every board. Again, he's quite cheerful when it comes to meriting. Once your post has got a touch of quality, you can be sure of getting some merits from him.
II. LoyceV : This is one user that seems to be duty bound by the forum. You can always find this user contributing when it matters the most and contents from the user often has a touch of experience about it.
III. Lovesmayfamilis : The user is a critic like no other, always looking out to bring the best in others and her devotion to the forum in regards to maintaining its purity is exceptional. Kind of like the way she and Nutildah traces and connects cases is some skill worth appraisal.
IV. The Pharmacist : The user is some one that stays true to himself or herself and could really be duty bound with regards to being a merit source and not just explores but brings to the forum new ways one can go about using bitcoin in the real world through personal experience which is very appreciative of the field.

6. How would theymos and other members of the forum describe you?
This is a difficult one, as I can't get into the mindset of forum users but, I've been me and its earned me no trouble so, my best guess would be that, I stay real.

7. What would happen to Bitcoin if Satoshi appeared out of nowhere? ( Is this a threat? If yes, please explain why; if no, please explain why.)
We have Vitalik Buterin for Ethereum, Charlie Lee for Litecoin, etc and the coins still flourish, neither are the CEOs in some kind of trouble. Why should bitcoin be any different?
Should Satoshi appear out of nowhere, I think bitcoin would still be bitcoin and would flourish still.

8. Which would you choose if you had the option to rescue either the 3 million-strong Bitcointalk forum or a loved one? And why is that?
I hate to be the man in that position but when we get to that bridge, we would cross it.

9. One message to theymos?
Keep up the good work!

10. One piece of advice to the OP?
You've been searching for new ways of improving the forum, never relent in your effort to do so.

Thank you once more for the opportunity to air and its a pleasure to share a common space with you all.

I forgot more than you will ever know.
Hey,

I will try my best in answering the below Smiley

Questions

1. How did you find yourself on the forum?

Well it started by just visiting without creating in account. I was mining LTC back in 2012, and I came across the forum looking for some technical information.

Much later after I quit mining and crypto all together (studies, partying, sport, etc) I returned in 2017 to crypto, and ended up creating an account in 2018 and became much more active, on the forum, and with crypto in general.

2.  In one word, sum up your personality.
Curious and sensitive.

3. What is the underlying message of your personal text?

There is really no hidden message. It says what it says Smiley. It's your's to construe if you care to.

4. Aside from personal text, what other methods do you use to motivate people on this forum?

I used to help newcomers as much as I could, mostly in the french section. However I see myself lacking the time more and more to do so. I kinda miss it tho.

5. Do you think you'll still be a member of the forum in the next five years? (If not, what are the reasons?)

Yeah, why the hell not.
If my other buddies around here are still here, who whould I be if I just left them alone?
I like the place, so I will stick around.

6. On the forum, who inspires you the most and why?

Noone in particular. I'm more inspired of what the forum means, and all the consequences it had on our world, and the responsibility it bears in helping new users to crypto, or expand the crypto world all together.

7. What are three of your favorite bitcointalk topics?

I won't answer on this one Smiley

8. Some experts predict that the price of bitcoin will reach $100,000 before the next halving. What are your thoughts on this, and do you believe this will happen before the next halving?

Who cares? Bitcoin will be bitcoin.
It will reach 100k, this is the only thing that matters. It could be tomorrow or in 10 years. In both cases it will still exist, and this is the important thing.

10. One piece of advice to the OP?
Accumulate Wink
If you mean Bitcoin yea I did accumulate some earlier last month, the underlying message of your personal text is too strong and helpful to the crypto newbies roaming about looking for cheap money.

10. One piece of advice to the OP?
Ans: Don't ever think about replacing your Bitcoin with altcoins. You'll lose long-term.
I'm not a huge fan of altcoin, lost interest in 2018 after all the shitcoins I was hodling lost value/got dumped, the same year I was a victim of a fake ICO scam. Right now I'm not hodling altcoin. Thank you for the advice.

Now to the questions;

1. How did you find yourself on the forum?
Ans: Heard about the forum in 2015 from a seminar I attended about financial freedom (and all about how Satoshi created Bitcoin and the forum), but was not much interest since my focused them was just making enough money to get me through school via the system that was introduced to us called MMM. We never knew it was a ponzi scheme so majority of us all fell for it, the good thing is that, this failure introduced us to Bitcoin, infact 90% of Nigerian heard about bitcoin first through this long forgetten scam. Fast forward to 2017 I was required to post a proof of authentication on the forum to participate in one of the airdrop back then. I did exactly that but later abandon this account since I didn't understand the forum. Fast forward to 2018 I picked interest again and became an active member of the forum.

2.  In one word, sum up your personality.
Ans: Hustler

3. What is the underlying message of your personal text?
Ans: Patience that's it, we don't have much of that anymore in the society and on the forum. People need to realize anything good takes time, no short cuts to success.

4. Aside from personal text, what other methods do you use to motivate people on this forum?
Ans: Do I? I guess if I do then it has to be my posts.

5. Do you think you'll still be a member of the forum in the next five years? (If not, what are the reasons?)
Ans: Yes I will, I'm in love with the forum haha hope my girlfriend doesn't see this or I'm dead.

6. On the forum, who inspires you the most and why?
Ans: Hhampuz, I adore his professionalism.

7. What are three of your favorite bitcointalk topics?
Ans: I can't remember any favorite but if you want interesting discussion to read through or engage in, keep your eyes on this users started topics; fillippone, Ratimov and RainbowKun (very promising).

8. Some experts predict that the price of bitcoin will reach $100,000 before the next halving. What are your thoughts on this, and do you believe this will happen before the next halving?
Ans: My time in the industry has taught me the hard way to never, doubt any price prediction on bitcoin. Any price is achievable not minding the timeframe.

9. One message to theymos
Ans: You're doing a great job managing the forum, keep it up but please grante us our request and give the Nigerian community a local board.

1. How did you find yourself on the forum?
I was searching about bitcoin and kept seeing bitcointalk links among the results. Naturally I signed up.

2.  In one word, sum up your personality.
Curious!

3. What is the underlying message of your personal text?
It [Beware of Greeks bearing gifts!] is referring to the repeating cases where certain people start praising bitcoin to gain some popularity in "bitcoin media" then use that popularity for personal gain.
The accompanying avatar portraying  McAfee and Musk with a Trojan horse is for extra clarification.

4. Aside from personal text, what other methods do you use to motivate people on this forum?
My posts (hopefully).
I usually use the personal text for something fun or a short sentence that I read in a book and like.

5. Do you think you'll still be a member of the forum in the next five years? (If not, what are the reasons?)
Definitely. Assuming I survive Corona virus which I'm currently recovering from.

6. On the forum, who inspires you the most and why?

8. Some experts predict that the price of bitcoin will reach $100,000 before the next halving. What are your thoughts on this, and do you believe this will happen before the next halving?
I've always said since this 4-year cycle has had first 3 years that were very similar to the first 3 years of the previous cycle, there is a good chance that the 4th year be the same which means price should reach $500k as the peak of the next bubble.
