Yay, after 10 years, I still made it. If I hadn’t been inactive from time to time, it might have worked out sooner. Nevertheless, I am happy about it and glad that I am a part of the bitcointalk family.  Smiley

Perhaps the Sent Merit Chart view helps a bit to discover a wee bit more of the number drops on the Indonesian local board:
https://public.tableau.com/shared/T3QBBY686?:display_count=n&:origin=viz_share_link

I’ve delimited the timeframe to 2022, and selected the top senders in that period of time (to a reasonable point where the chart is still readable). If we look at the chart, we’ll see that some of the lines seem to flatten over the last few months (meaning they send less merits), whilst others end abruptly (meaning that they are not awarding merits since their end-tip on the chart onwards).

It is something though that I’d expect to happen somewhat during summertime overall, as there tends to be less activity + holidays. In addition, some people's breaks are more noticable than others meritwise.

Hi DdmrDdmr, thanks again for updated merit stats. I'm curious about what's going on in the local board especially about the distribution of merit in August. I can still see it going down (not much) where there are currently only 30 users willing to distribute the merit for total of 218.

Now it's time to get ready to update my thread, it just takes some time.  Wink

You got little distracted enjoying your life outside the forum otherwise it would have been a perfect blend of another record because three days was easy task for you to achieve but it didn't stop you and dediniyou are taking @DdmrDdmr words seriously and going insane mode.

I must admit that I was often worried when in the first afternoon I still wasn’t awarded a merits.
I have certain percentage of my brain dedicated to bitcoin. So producing some (quality) content is often doable.
The problem is that day I got distracted the whole day, busy shopping for meat, preparing the grill, and that percentage wasn’t enough apparently. Also I remember checking my smart and in the morning and seeing a merits, that was actually from the previous day. So I falsely thought I was “safe for the day” and relaxed a little bit.
But hey! It’s not a chore!

You are just like a dedicated student in school, he is not in school for one day, he will be worried. I appreciate your works in the forum. They are educative. Yes I noticed that when I was reading your threads that you are very good in bitcoin analysis. so the parentage you have in your brain is of no doubt. Therefore, something that you have eaten and digested must produce good and quality content. Distraction on an important thing is very bad but from you shopping story, I think it is not a distraction but a means of stress management and relaxation of the brain for a while so that when you come back to the forum fresh ideas will come follow up. I know you are the merit rascal in Bitcointalk. In the https://bpip.org/Report?r=earnedmerit you are the 3rd merited user in the forum.

Stopping at only three days from a new record!
I got distracted preparing a dinner with friends (yes, I manage to have a life outside of the forum).
I had an epiphany the morning after, when I felt something was missing...
Ok I am already building again, so... see you in.... (Fillippone checks Google sheets...) October 2023!

How many more records you have decided to surpass and make on the forum during your journey man Grin? The top three streaks are in your name and for 413 days seems really hard one for anyone to achieve as it's clearly visible from the sheets you have uploaded.

Since you still have that pizza badge in your profile, you should eat pizza every day (until badge is removed) and think about Bitcoin pizza day.
Yeah he was the winner of the pizza bake off contest and as per @Cyrus also the badge will remain for a long period of time and hope it continues to be there until the bitcoin pumps upto certain level above $30k also for our Italian bitcoin boss.

I think that pizza, spaghetti and macaroni are probably every day staple food for more than 90% of real Italians, and even for people who feel like Italians.

Your profile is the one I’ve been using to check that the tab loaded the data properly, and the 410 value wasn’t the one I was expecting to see. At first, since I have to load 2 files to gather the data onto the dashboard, I thought I must have skipped loading one of them. I then had to go and check your forum’s profile to see if there was a gap there during last week and lo and behold, the streak stopped just 3 days shy of the raining record. You can’t even enjoy the end of the summer …

Funnily enough, one of the first tough I had when I realised I was back to the starting position, it was something you told me last time:

<…>
Surpasing your 413 days in a row streak doesn’t seem like something feasible right now (probably not even healthy nor sane).

You were right in so many ways!

That’s really got nothing to do with the Merit Dashboard though...

Nevertheless, I can see your Merit counter from within my forum account, and since you seem to be logged-in to your account at the time you took the screenshot, my guess is that it’s got something to do with the plug-in you’re using (i.e. I believe it’s this one – perhaps it’s one of the on/off configuration parameters).

Yeah that might be happening due to those configuration as I am also able to see his merit stats with 195 under his profile so he need to switch the parameters to once again be visible on his account what I think.

And if this continues again you can ask for the help from the community by creating a thread asking for help and you will get it resolved but most probably as @DdmrDdmr has mentioned this is extension plug in issue you are using so try it once.

You’re right. Since I don’t scrape all forum posts, I base this part of the information on the Dashboard on the official forum Stats (the counters on the main page). Specifically, I compare the numbers at the end of month, to those at the end of the previous month.

Whilst the above is adequate when there is no significant retrospective post deletion (self or mod), it does not reflect the data properly when it happens, since deletions will reflect in the month’s data when, in fact, it may be the action of deletion actions performed this month over posts in prior months. This is likely what has happened on your local board on last month’s readings, rendering last month’s data void. This happens frequently on the Russian local board, where the data is often affected by this effect, and others resort to other sources of information for the post count.
