I was just kidding...
My specialty is not pie, but chocolate fondant and strawberry charlotte. But my modest apple tart was still pretty good, I didn't want to add whipped cream, meringue or anything I don't like. If I can't win, I at least want to be able to eat the tart  Grin
Dude, that's even more delectable especially anything that's got a strawberry in it, I'm all for it. I think that's what matter the most, you add only the stuff that you'd want to eat, I don't think that it's even logical to do any kind of extravagance just for the sake of winning and then at the end of the day you'll throw it away because you've added stuff that you don't even want to eat.

What I wanted to ask is if it's ok to change the vote, like I already did. If it's not, let me know. I guess it will be fine though.
You are free to edit your vote until the contest 2nd phase (the voting phase) ends, which is about 3 days and a couple hours from now.

Hello @RickDeckard.

I have updated my vote in the corresponding thread, since PytagoraZ decided to withdraw their participation. I wanted to do it anyway because I have seen some bad trust reviews on him. This is irrelevant though.

What I wanted to ask is if it's ok to change the vote, like I already did. If it's not, let me know. I guess it will be fine though.

**In BTC since 2013**
@RickDeckard You forgot something very important, which I only noticed now, you didn't announce the voting topic.
Neither in the OP nor in the second post, do you have the link to the vote. It should have.

Here is the voting topic: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/voting-phase-open-bitcointalk-pie-baking-contest-2nd-edition-5489177

Hello and good luck to everyone.

@RickDeckard since I am not participating but I find this contest really fun, could I contribute with 160,000 satoshi?

Here is the address as a proof of funds (if necessary).

I am actually gonna send the entire UTXO, but I just say 160,000 sats for rounding purposes.
Thank you for helping out in increasing the prize pool apogio! I have updated the initial thread with your amount. Let's hope that next year we can see your entry as well  Cool.

We are now sitting at 0.0086 bitcoin for the prize pool which I find it to be quite a considerable amount since it is a community event. Thank you all! This and the collectible will sure create a nice memory of this edition.

Personal issues prevented me to come here in time to close the thread and creating a new one for the voting phase.

I'll try to open the voting phase as soon as possible. Rest assured that the time frame will be adjusted.

Sorry for the trouble.

I would really love to take part into this contest again but sadly I saw this only a week ago on Bitcointalk's news feed under profile avatar and I didn't have enough time to make a pie. I wish success to everyone, some of them really look very cool but guys, pie is a pie, keep that in mind please.
Is Meta board a bad place for such a contest? I think not many people will miss it there.

Again, big thanks to RickDeckard, PowerGlove and UserU.

What an extraordinary color, I've never tasted this fruit.
Thanks! your pie looks good too. Smiley

@bayu7adi is correct with the taste, it's quite sweet and sour, but I add sugar so it's sweeter.

I am new to bitcointalk forum. Tried it myself after watching a pie contest. I have never made a pie so I have no experience. But I'm glad to be a contestant in the Bitcoin Pie Contest. Here is a brief summary of what ingredients I used to make it.

Thank you very much Rick for another round of the Bitcointalk Pie Baking contest. This is my first time participating at the contest and it was actually a lot of fun in the end tasting it. What a day that was, I completely forgot the contest was ending today. Somehow, I thought it was until Friday evening and I had another day to prepare and finish the pie, the counter saved me. This is one of my favourites, a chocolate layered pie. The most work was crafting the topper with liquid chocolate and metallic golden powder. The coins brought back a lot of childhood memories as I haven't tasted them in a long time, unfortunately I had to buy them as I had no clue how to make them myself.

Good luck to all the other contestants, with all those exotic fruits I am getting hungry every time I see a new pie being posted. Probably my last homemade cake for the year Cheesy my grandmother does a much better job.

It's a marvellous cake, but it's not a pie. Hurry up to make a pie  Tongue
