Well I created my sportsbet account and funded it. The problem is the funded amount isn't showing on the poker page when redirected, just my main sportsbet page to register for the tournament. Hopefully there is just some delay there and I'll register this evening. It's funny because I played in a few freerolls to get the feel for the mobile app and the 80 mbtc or whatever I won is reflected in my sportsbet wallet.

probably won't make it at the time tho but will try my best to be available
are you in UK and have you tried playing with sportsbet.io in the past with no VPN ? it's really weird if it's just poker
I was trying to introduce a friend in the UK to sportsbet but he told me he was instantly directed to the UK version , so according to him people in UK can't use the sportsbet.io but are forced to use the UK one
but haven't heard about anyone who can use the site normally with just poker redirecting to uk

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend it . My acces to poker on sportsbet has been restricted , they've asked me now for KYC , sent some documents + extra for a fast processing , but unfortunately my phone bill is not valid for a proof of address . So I need to get a bank statement which I can't today due to a national holiday . I'll be able to do it on monday ... It really sucks as I wanted to much to be part of this first btctalk tournament .

That really suxx man - not even Steve could arrange something? I really dont know why they enforced KYC and I am feeling pretty bad about it because I just wanted us all to have a fun poker time...

Idk, maybe it's only me who thinks that it would be more interesting if players registered under their bitcointalk names, but I really think so, and I encourage all of you, guys, to either register under your btctalk name or, at least, to say here in this thread, who are you in the tournament. I mean, that's the whole point, isn't it, to play with our fellow forum members? I think, it would be more fun if we knew who were we sitting with at the tables.
You cannot chose a separate name for the poker room and if people already were registered with a username different than the one here, well, thats the thing.
My username is the same but I unregistered to do some tests. People have reported there seem to be issues when trying to register --> must have something to do with the wallet. Anyone else having problems besides the ones who have sent me a pm?

23 bitcointalk users have expressed their willingness to participate in the tournament so far. If nothing changes, and all of them will really join, we can have 0.023 BTC prize pool, which is pretty good, for me personally. But if more people will join, it will be even better.
