I am waiting for last minute entry. Still not sure if I'll be able to participate. Now when it is a series of 8 tournaments I want to play them all or none at all. Anybody have any good excuses to tell the wifes?

Only one which is bulletproof is to tell her that I am earning money and then give her cash. That's quite expensive for 8 tournaments  and would rather not use it.

Thanks for the shout out lol. It definitely makes me feel like I've put in the right amount of effort in uping my game. There is definitely a good deal of luck in each of the tournaments I've done well in. I find these tournaments to be a lot of fun because of the wide range in skill and strategies... don't often see limped AA in the wild.  You really don't know what to expect until you've played a few times against people... or watched their videos 

Speaking of which I will be in for Saturday... likely Sunday as well. I'll be set up and will have video from my POV. So if people think of it try and remember interesting spots you get in against me and we can review them after.

Of course, but that doesn't mean you cannot pay the 200 fee for every game up front and get all the passwords each weekend. Saves you the worry of not having the fee later for whatever reason.

My understanding is that for every game you will create the lobby like the first two and we will join every week?

We did 8 games for multiple reasons. SwC is giving .05 btc to the prize pool and I felt like we should have a decent amount of games for the series to help them out. Some players may only be available 1 day a weekend, not 2 so it gives people a chance to choose a day to play. Most months have 4 weekends in them(yes I know some will have 5) so with 2 games per weekend we get 8 in a month.

Another good reason, what if you go out 1st in the 1st 4 games. You have a major hill to climb if you have 2 games left. With 4 games you still have a chance to get into the top 9 for the finale.

We can tweak the series if it needs tweaked for next round. We hope to see ya in the games johnnyUA.

I would be open to a different start time for the next series to try it out. Maybe Saturdays 1 start time and Sundays another, but most players are available in the timezone we picked. I hate to have a 3 am start time for Euros and and 9pm start time for Americans so that the Asian timezone would be more apt to join and only get 3 registrants cause everyone else is sleeping.

If more users from that area showed interest maybe it wouldn't be an issue.

It is not a must that you join all 8 to make the final game, but if you like poker and a fun private game, why not play all with us? There is money to be won in every game and you get to hang out with some pretty cool people.

Currently we have 17 users who have paid the fee for game 1, 10 who have joined. Game 2 has 11 users who have paid the fee, 6 who have joined. 1 player has already paid the fee for all 8 games.

Darn it is pretty much like $8 registration per tournament but really worth a shot . Thanks for the info efialtis

Thanks, my bad not to know that info. I was quite complacent by the same cycle from the past games I guess that everytime there's tourney one user who set it up will just pm the password. Really thanks for letting me know.


0.001 or 1000 chips is for the registration on SwC the 0.0002 or 200 chips is an additional chips for the prize pool for the championship round of the series.

Well you're exactly right it's always 0.0012 per game, I hope you do understand now.

Yes, there is no minimum number of tournaments you need to enter - if you earn enough points, you qualify for the main event, no matter what.

So does this means that we need to pay 0.0012 for each of the tournament ? Or is it 0.0012 for all the tournament? I dont really quite get it there.

Also if it is the latest then does that mean we dont need to join all the tournament if our point is high enough for the main event?

yeah, those 200 chips/game are being added to the prize pool for the championship game in early may. so far there is ~ 0.054 or 0.055 BTC added.

just send 400 for both games.

Oh - good that someone asked then, I thought it was clear by now - you are almost right but only almost. Yes, those 200 Extra Chips per game make up the additional prize pool for the Grand Final. In order to join any of the tournaments in this series though, you need to pay those 200 Chips and then you receive the password so you can join.

It's not that the password will be sent out to those who has just sent 200 chips to efialtis (youcantwin) it will be sent to those people who posted their interest on the tourney. That 200 chips is an additional prize pool for the upcoming championship in this series, that is the requirements posted on the OP. Password will always be sent out privately to those interested participants who posted in this thread, the password is posted here as well once the tourney is about to start. PM efialtis in regards to the password if you haven't received it.

I think efialtis haven't pm anyone yet in regards to that since I haven't received it. I'll pm him instead for the password.

I opened an account today and sent some BTC to SwC, it will probably arrive today so I will be joining both tournaments latest tomorrow morning.

@efialtis I do not see anything to join the Sunday afternoon event? In the spreadsheet I see some already joined but in SWC I can not spot it yet or I am already missing it and it's already in the one I have joined.
