i just won about the total prizes for each round, did it based on total people join it or it will be fixed like on sportsbets?

There will be a fixed 0.05 BTC from SwC plus the extra chips from every participant - so the total prize for the grand Finale will even be more than 0.05 BTC.

Great idea, I like it. It will probably be enough to play 3-4 qualifying tournaments well to earn a seat at the final table so I'm planning on participating.

The 0.05 BTC from SWC is a good incentive as well, there will be a lot to play for in the final. Count me in Smiley

i paid my entry and received the passwords for this weekend. i'll be registering later on, i still need to load up my SwC account.

does anyone know who is hosting this tournament on SwC? Quarantine Series Week 2 Champions Freeroll [private], cause there is a password needed to enter  Roll Eyes
i think efialtis and yahoo?
but you can read it once again in the first post
sorry, but I don't see in the first post any info about the Quarantine Series

it's not a normal password-protected game. SwC is running a "quarantine series" from march 23 to april 5, a few events each day. the winner of each event gains free entry into that tournament.

Buy-in: .0012 BTC (1200 chips) 1000 chips on SwC 200 chip transfer to "youcantwin" per game

I'm very interested in this Championship Poker Series, I'm playing a freeroll to test the SwC platform
Do I have to buy in before every game or I have to send only the 200 chip before every game?

You need to join us man! =)

You will need to pay the buy-in on the site and send 200 chips per game - obviously you could send more so you dont need to do this repeatedly, just as you wish. We will be keeping track in this thread´s 2nd post.

Players will be required to send  200 chips per game to youcantwin on SwC for each game. That money will be added to the Championship games prize pool. SwC Poker has agreed to add .05btc to the Championship games prize pool. I will have efialtis (youcantwin) confirm everyone has sent the extra funds before the game starts. The extra funds is a requirement for all who want to play in this series. Whether you join at the beginning or at the end of late registration.

i like the idea and i'm down. i just hope there are no problems collecting the extra jackpot style entry fee. i'm glad @efialtis is tasked with that and not me. Tongue
I actually thought this could be outsourced with you being our treasurer...  Cheesy

lol.....

i'm fine with holding the funds if needed. i don't understand what happens if people join the tourneys, but don't pay the extra 200 chips/game. i guess they would be disqualified from the championship unless they pay the balance due?

or do people only get the password once they pay? that might have a diminishing effect on the number of entries.

This tourney will be Password- protected, you will be required to send the "extra" chips to youcantwin before you will be given the password.

This is supposed to be a series and by no means connected with other random tournaments we may be playing every now and then. For that reason we really thought that paying those "extra chips" should be mandatory in order to receive the password.

I tried to get involved but I was hampered by some restrictions that seems to be hard.
Can anyone give me a breakdown process to it

2pm GMT/UTC was a mistake - we will play at 2PM EST/6PM GMT.
Ahh  Cry, i thought the time is 2pm GMT/UTC.

2PM EST/6PM GMT is hard to me which is 1-2 AM in asian timezone.

good luck then!

ah, see there is no pleasing both USA and asian players! one of us is always gonna get screwed over. sorry, bud. Undecided

6pm GMT---i am much more likely to be there now. @yahoo62278 should update the OP so there is no confusion.

I stand with Ukraine.
Thank you for arranging this, guys!

And thanks to SwC Poker for adding 0.05btc to the Championship games prize pool!

I personally like the "No Rebuy" format, and the timing is good for me, so I'm definitely in.

200 chips transferred to youcantwin. Waiting for the password. Smiley

First time I hear about PokerTH! I think that you don't know what you are missing here. There aren't many people in this, but I can tell you that most of us are poker players for years.

I may not play poker every day, or even every week, but I have played a few times as my profile info shows.  The app/site allows for private games which count towards a person's overall ranking, hence my suggestion to play via that site.  (and I play via PortableApps.com 's portal so that I can take the app with me on the road)

Just as a suggestion, set your games to GMT and let users' adjust for their time zones.

I am a bit confused for the timing,,, in OP it says 6pm UTC. Could us Asians ask for a separate timezone to be played alternatively? I believe every other week a good Asian slot, a good Europe slot, a good USA slot. For me 6pm UTC is impossible since this is 2am Beijing/Singapore/Malaysia/rest of Southeast Asia time. Maybe there are not Asians in the forum but every dice site and poker place I see there is always Singaporean, Malaysian, Philippino and Indonesian,,,

I see 2pm slot which is considerable but this is 10pm Sunday, so we all have to get up for work on Monday, and we know poker lasts a long time:)

I am afraid we wont be able to get enough players if we play tournaments for US, Europe, Asia... And we will have a hard time finding that "perfect" slot for everybody. Noon in US, late in the evening in Europe and Midnight in Asia... But, one tournament will be played on Saturdays - besides, 10 pm isnt toooo bad if you ask me. Either way, I dont think we ll ever find that perfect time slot.

The set time is 2PM EST/6PM GMT.

@yahoo62278 Can you plz edit the time under tournament info in OP? Ty!
