I couldn't call it... it was a flush at the end... Angry and is not the first time having those connection problems
adding than the luck of the received cards during the whole tournament, having 9 points earned is a great success for me

I really don't know why this happens. I have an excellent internet connection (500/250) and had big disconnect problems in tournaments 5&6, maybe 4 as well. This last 2 tournaments worked perfectly though. One thing I noticed is that it doesn't help if you have several tables loaded up. I like to keep an eye on all tables inside the tournament but it usually ends with disconnect inside 5 minutes. Did you do that maybe? I would like to pin down this issue since it is really annoying and I am 99% certain it isn't on my side.

Congrats to all of you, guys, who have made it to the finals!

And thank you to the organizers and to all the participants!

It's been a great pleasure playing with all of you, and I very much hope that we'll have more series like this in the future.

GL to the players in the Bitcointalk Championship Finale and GL to the former losers, myself included, in the Bitcointalk Championship Runner-up, which is already kindly scheduled by SwC Poker for us:

Again, GG, everyone! See you at the tables!

I finally managed to get some points yesterday, a decent game overall. Forced an all-in because the blinds were slowly eating me and we had 3 big stacks at the final table. Could have played that hand better but not unhappy overall.

Congratulations to the top 9 and everybody else, this was a really fun experience. Good luck at the final table!

Congratulations to the Finalists! Obaming, SyGambler, shipdachips, Pitkins, Iv4n, jmac1551, ceehe, Newb2379, Trofo

Congrats to everyone else, too - that was lots of fun and I think the level was pretty good actually! Smiley

Guys, please ask SWC to manually pre-register players for Champions Finale.
Passwords are dangerous.

Also, I would like to see All places paid, if possible. This is bonus tournament, so smooth prize structure would be great.

I will create easily manageable semi-automatic spreadsheet for coming series.

I am checking with SwC if pre-registering is possible and give an update asap. If not, I trust that none of our 9 finalists will share the PW.

I will take you up on the spreadsheet thing! Smiley

@BTCLiz -400 @buwaytress- 200 @Sygambler- 200 @CoinEraser- 200

Please let me know if you would like me to return your chips for tournaments you haven't played.

Same, top 3 is good just like any sit and go.  Consider the first part the satellite to the paying sit and go.  All 9 paid would be too diluted

Swapping action between finalists could be allowed and would decrease variance. Would be easy and safe too since the prize is centralised with efialtis already.

Also, you could consider changing the points distribution to 15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 which wouldn't change anything at the top of the leaderboard but could give the lower end a better chance to jump up if they finish in the top 4. Also makes ties less likely.

why would all places need paid? It's a championship, not a charity ship.

The whole point was to earn your way to the final. And have a shot at decent money while having fun playing poker with friends/acquaintances.  If everyone was paid then the top money turns to crap.

If this was a 200k+ prize pool I'd be all for everyone getting something, but it's barely over 90k.

Idk, you guys run it how ya want from here on out. Not sure I'll play if the structure changes much though with such a small pool.

I would also like to announce I will not be handling the spreadsheet or anything else from this point on. I'm not gonna post reasons or anything, just point all questions to efialtis from here on out. Maybe i'll play you guys if there is a next series.

Very respectable pool for our final tournament.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your efforts on this championship series and I hope you will play the next one with us. Wouldn't be the same without you Smiley I'll face you across the table at least one more time.

@Efialtis
Also a big thanks to you for your part in organizing these series. Had to mention you separately so you don't feel left out.

Congrats to all qualified for final table. In the end I managed to get the last spot even though I didn't get any points in last couple of tournaments. Two good results were enough in the end.

Also GG to all players. Hopefully we will have next series as well. I will try to take part since I am now hooked but it will be difficult when my life gets back to its hectic everyday routine.

See ya'll at the final table next week.  Do we need chips to get into the tourny?

Nope. Buy-in is 0 chip. Only password needed for registration.

#1 Bitcointalk Championship Runner-up Game is live!

I would now like to "officially" announce that we will have a Runner-up Tournament for everyone who won't make it to the Championship Final! SwC are generously hosting this and sponsoring a Freeroll with a 10,000 Chips Prize pool and it's going to take place on 03 May.

I am little confused. Who will play the runners-up tournament? Position 10-18 or all those who didn't qualify for championship and played at least a game or all those who got at least a point? Can you clarify

Very good question, thanks for asking webtricks. It's supposed to be a community event for all the poor souls who didn't qualify for the championship final and played at least one game - otherwise this would mean a weekend without poker with the fellow bitcointalk mates... unthinkable, no?! Smiley

Great! I hope players who won't win anything in Championship don't compete in Runners-up tourney. We guys should have some winnings too. Cheesy

Farewell LEO: o_e_l_e_o
I think we have our finalist now although last three are going strong.
We have:
SyGambler,
shipdachips,
Obaming,
Pitkins,
Iv4n
ceehe,
Trofo,
Newb2379 and
jmac1551 in the final if I am not wrong.

Jmac1551 was nearly gone. I had over 5k chips and he had around 2.5k chips. Ef had over 11k chips. But lucky Jmac1551 had KK and I got beaten with KQ. Then I lost my mind and gone all in with A6 and this time he again had a pair. So, in other words all my 5K+ chips gone to him. I feel like I gave away the chips to him. Fuck me!!!

that's a pisser. out in 13th again. Roll Eyes

had AJ and raised pre, 2 others on the flop. blank flop for me, hit a OESD on the turn and semi-bluffed it, hit an A on the river but ran into 2-pair.

good game!

i won't be making the finals now, would like to think i would have if i hadn't missed 2 games early on. oh well, i promise i'll run hot once or twice in the next series. Wink hasn't happened yet. see you guys next sunday (maybe) for the other tourney, though i might sleep in.

I wish all of you good luck in the championship tournament and I can't wait for the 2nd edition of this series, I'll consider this 1st one the warmup Smiley
