GG! Hard tournament today with a lot of big bets, sucks if you don't get ahead early on as it's just a coinflip later. I wish all of you good luck in the championship tournament and I can't wait for the 2nd edition of this series, I'll consider this 1st one the warmup

sigh, every raised pot i'm involved in has a paired flop, and not in my favor. 
chipping down early here. got 2 loose players directly to my left, and being card dead isn't helping. help me out, poker gods!
almost a half hour in and nobody's been knocked out yet, wow. people are playing a bit more careful today.

you don't give players much fold equity.i would be happy to have you to my left if i weren't so card dead. best starting hands after 1 hour playing = A9o and KQo, haven't been able to connect on the flop all day. my luck better turn soon!

I don't mind new players joining in the last game.. I like variance and the unknown and if it means someone may knock out a guy who's ahead of me in the points chase that just makes it even better.
+1. it's just poker, no different than any of the other games. if @Globb0 knocks me out, it's no different than you knocking me out. plus i don't think there is much expected value in paying 1200 chips today for entry tomorrow, given how many runners there will be.
anyway, tournament starting now! good luck all, but especially to me.

I wasnt aware people were so greedy to be honest - and I dont like the fact people are complaining when I am adding something completely freely. Anyway, I really dont think there's anything wrong - sorry if you disagree but this is non-sense drama in my opinion.
It's not like rules have been changed or anything like that - promised, I wont announce goodies "early" in future...

I feel like the game could become a bit stale otherwise as theoretically only the 5th to 12th place or something has anything to play for.

If I was on the outside looking in far as points go, I'd be pissed at users trying to join the final game just to gain entry to a separate freeroll.
There are 8 or 9 guys fighting for a chance to play the championship game and if 1 of these guys who have showed no interest until today screwed me, I'd be livid.
That's the argument from their perspective.
I personally did not set up this runner up freeroll. My plan was to have the next series started and going the same day as the championship. You either played good enough to qualify for the championship or you tried harder in the next.
Efialtis saw some of you commenting and got something done for all you guys. Almost like he got everyone a participation trophy. You know you laughed lol.
In the long run he/we are trying to get players interested in this series and keep them going every month. Noone is trying to offend anyone by getting an extra game played for the players who ran bad or whatnot.
Try to have fun and play your best and these extra players in todays game wont be an issue.
Your feedback has been heard and may be considered for the next series. We are learning here as far as rules may go and may consider changes next series.

Cmon guys - I appreciate all and any input but it's the last tournament and please let's not start debating - rules are rules and we haven't changed them since the beginning so we shouldn't do it now. Plus, the runners-up tournament is just a bonus... Hope you guys understand.
