I have Uruguay to win against France. On the other match I have Brazil atm but i'm having second thoughts of changing it to Belgium.

Edit : Rip my prediction lol after I post this France scored a goal. Hoping for Uruguay to score at least two after the HT break.

I've put my Jokers on my heart's favourites, I should get at least 700 points if any of them hits, since my favourites aren't tourney favourites. In fact, bookies have my favourite as the ones with worst odds (Uruguay), can you believe Russia's tipped higher than them now?

Anyway, Trofo well done on top spot. Fewer games left to hold onto, I still believe anyone can break into top 5 but we'll probably already guess the standings by Semi Finals.

Finally more world cup matches coming up today, France have already eliminated one of the strongest team from south america which is Argentina, and today France will face Uruguay, it seems France are all geared up to kick all south america teams out of this world cup tournament, I think this would be a tough match for France as Uruguay defense record is pretty good in this tournament, but I still don't believe Uruguay is good enough to stop France from progressing to the next stage of this tournament.

Yeah, I've decided to just go for some extreme scores, and hopefully get lucky. I'm looking forward to participating in the premier league betting pool though as I think I'll likely perform a little bit better there as I tend to watch premier league games, and very rarely watch international games unless it's Wales or the World Cup every 4 years.

I am near you too in 16th position. Anyway it is fun to be part of the tournament and I predicted almost all quarter finals DRAWS. I put a joker this time which if hit right will give me 750 points so my only hope is to find the right correct score in the joker game to climb up some positions. It is just for fun as I think it is 100% sure I cannot reach top 5 now.

I had really bad predictions for the round 16 matches, got 158 points only on 8 matches. I was just too confident for some teams to win the match in normal time but all of them ended with draw and gave 0 points (3 matches). As the result, I'm down to 18th position IIRC. Almost zero chances to boost my position into at least top 5.

I am so sad that England equalized in last minute of added time while I had my prediction 0-1 for England to win and it was a goal which could have been saved if England would have been a bit more focused in these last minutes of the game. Still I am happy though as I placed a bet for England to win the game in the beginning of this thread where I got a reply from hilarious who thought to be impossible and if they would be in 1/8 would have been great, well here they are now.

England have the easiest route into the final by far now. Sweden in the next round then the winner of Russia and Croatia, and I think this is partly why I just can't get excited by them. They've a very average side and have only played other poor to average teams and a Belgium b-team who they couldn't even beat. I think we'll struggle with whoever we get in the next round or two, but in the final it'll be one of Brazil, Belgium, Uruguay or France which I don't think would be pretty if we get that far. The games between those four teams will be very interesting and I couldn't really predict who will go through at this point so the tournament is still up in the air for me along with the predictor. Yep, it was a great day for me in our challenge. Got both scores correct and one bonus in every match. This managed to launch me on top of our league and i started the day on 7th place.

I think I got them correct because I wanted to play Sweden to win and Colombia not to lose today but didn't have funds on any site and didn't have time to deposit them. Therefore, both game ended just as I predicted

I finally won a bet yesterday, though could have made more if I wasn't afraid to go for Sweden's straight win. I switched off the game after a while - the worst game of the knockouts so far. England was pretty yawnable if you ask me, although extra time was end-to-end at one point. Why couldn't they just have played like that, saved us the nerves of shootouts, and given me a winning bet?

I felt that the VAR could of been used a few times in the England vs Columbia game. Especially, the "head butt" incident.

I had Sweden 1-1 but I should have learned to not play against Sweden, they eliminated my country team Italy by playing only defensive football, did the same with almost all the teams of the tournament and yet they are in the quarter final. My bad and everyone else who played against them.

Edit: Thought I got England 0-1 only to be ruined in 94 minutes, this world cup has been so full of bad luck for predicting correct scores.
