Apparently, Gox streaming API returns trades prices as the orders were placed, not actual price at which they were traded.
So for example, if there's a buy order at $920 and someone places a sell order at $910, obviously, it will be traded at $920, but Gox still returns a trade at $910. I think this should be addressed and displayed correctly.

No, this is not true.

This was me just placing a buy 0.01111 @ 1000:

12:35:25 924.8798 0.01111
(time zone is CET)

it filled at 924.8798 and was reported correctly in the trades stream. If gox were as broken as you claim then goxtool (and probably also bitcoinwisdom and clarkmoody and others) would be completely unusable because they must use the trade messages to clean up any potential crossed-book conditions which often occur on gox due to occasionally missing depth messages.

You got this from  watching your trade vs their stream?
You should bring that up to Gox support attention.

Born to chew bubble gum and kick ass
Bitcoinwisdom,

How about you visit this website (cryptocurrencies sorted by their marketcap): http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/coins/info

You can easily see which coins are worth putting on your website. It would be nice if you added some NXT and MSC pairs (not sure from which exchanges).

Finally, why don't you contact Cryptsy and other exchanges and offer to connect all their pairs to your website (you can demand a fee from these exchanges for doing this job).

The exchanges' charting simply sucks. I think exchanges' clients would be happy to have all the pairs accessible on your website.

Your "draw lines" feature needs us to be able to draw free lines where ever we want on the chart, not just at the very top or bottom of a candle. Otherwise we can't project trends based on averages (i.e. using middle of candles). In fact, I don't even like the 'snap to candle' config you guys have. Let me draw a line anywhere please! Thanks & keep up the awesome work. Hands down, the best free charting tool Smiley

Hi BitcoinWisdom

Can you please explain what api call do you use for Huobi and Okcoin trades and orderbook.
Do you use some quote streams or flood their servers with 1000 http requests a second?
thx

I'm still new myself, but I could see a huge benefit in adding hotkeys to change indicators such as macd, stochastics etc. so you can make quick decisions.  Maybe that's already in the works?

Great work though, this is by far the most useful tool in my toolbox right now.

could be possible to add somehwhere a % number ?

so we cansee in real time the rise or from from the bigest high value in the graph compared to the actual price value
so we see "23,3%"

just informative...

so if last high value is 20$ and last ticker is 15$ we can see "-25,0%"

and if its in a up trend then take the lowest value in the graph

i would like to see that...wonder if someone else

Please fix / workaround the Cryptsy Order Bug, which f*cks up charts. The Doge Chart on Wisdom is since 5 hours completely unreadable, I know it is Cryptsy's fault but maybe you can workaround it or just delete the long candles. http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/dogebtc

I really wish you would backfill all the missing price data for cavirtex.com. It sucks only being able to see such a short period of time.

Hi There!

Fantastic site!

Further to the below post, I'm also finding it frustrating not being able to get longer trends displayed (that is, not being able to zoom out enough) on my mobile device (latest Nexus 7 with higher resolution).  I'm using cyanogenmod 11.2, have requested "display desktop site" on my browsers, but still no luck.  Any suggestions - i.e. are there any tweaks I can do to my tablet to display more data in the browser?

Possibly showing just the wicks of the candles (and no bodies) might be a solution?  Bu just being able to scroll further back in time would be a great improvement.

Cheers!

I didn't explain it very well, I guess: I *can* zoom out, even on my small netbook, it's just that I can't zoom out *far enough*. So my question was if you could increase the "maximum" I can zoom out.
I was headache with that too, for candlestick, 3px candle is the minmum width or there is no open and close price. and I won't decrease the 2px gap to 1px or less, because most of device has high resolution, with 1px gap the chart will become unfriendly and dizzy.

so only the line style chart can handle very narrow chart, but still haven't found a good way to make it work with candle chart well.
