Anyone running multiple peers on one node, IT WILL LAG  the client is becoming larger and more resource hungry so unless you have really good hardware and internet, one client per machine is best.

there are of course optimizations being considered , but play it safe.

a lot of users are confusing themselves by looking @ debug and using debug commands in rpc. if you want to know your current block height, either use getinfo or getblockcount.

If you are using a client that does not show protocol version 70014, then yes you are on a fork, update your client.

So, it seems that better peers resolved some network problems, great  better later than never Smiley

1. Logic has been changed in fees ? 7 BCR instead 8,4  for bn mining and 38 BCR instead of 6 , please correct me if I'm at least close to it, it must be more complicated than this.

2. txindex=1 must be set only for the first time when using bootstrap or set permanently in conf ? It woked for me for some time but only till I closed a wallet and started it again.

3. It doesn't matter if few people set the same local address for BN ? (for exapmple 127.0.0.1:8877)

4. Old BN address when emptied completely can be re-used or it's better to start from a new one ?

5. Still if bn miner tries to mine consecutive block and is rejected, the only way to start it again after some time is to execute setgenerate once again ?

The network is visible @ chainz now. I think all the nodes that have lower number are still syncing , anyone who has synced from start will notice that it's taking time.

2) Rewards depend on bids there is no real change except that from a 30K block, its now in every block.

3)  you can have local Bns but i advise against it if you plan to offer services.

4) you can use any address you want though if you can, use vanity gen to generate a 6BCRbnk address.

5) havent touched the mining logic in a while.

dragos check your current connections start and sync height to rule out old info in that long list.

im on the 259612 chain, stalled 2 hrs ago. 8 peers.
what are the mining protocols right now?
I forgot miningkeys.dat but was able to mine some 7.0bcr blocks overnight.
blocks found:
128 blocks ago
122 blocks ago
119 blocks ago
118 blocks ago
117 blocks ago
102 blocks ago
100 blocks ago
92 blocks ago
nothing since then.

setgenerate true does not change cpu usage .6% for the wallet, restarted.. same.

*edit, added miningkeys.dat and it works again might need to look into why it worked for a bit without the designation before halting. hopefully the chain i helped make isnt invalid.

*edit edit I solved another block finally... 259613 but it contained no payouts. as there have been no bid payouts for about 120+ blocks I am assuming thats normal. so my block reward was 38 BCR. Last payout block was #259487 odd block to start with
I do want to point out my peers... only one of 8 is on the same blockheight as me 259613 (highlighted) the rest are on 258882

lastly wallet did crash a few minutes after solving the block, restarted and initiated mining again, seems to be working. This RC candidate is heavy on logging the mining data specifically test hashes
the test hashes seem to be piling up the same outputs before the wallet crashes when mining. this was not an issue leading up to this block

TL/DR:
mined fine overnight -stopped mining 100 blocks ago -setgenerate no affect on mining -added mininkeys.dat solved 1 block -wallet crashes when mining now after 5 min -all blocks found overnight were to a single 50,000 address  of mine, not my banknode even the consecutive finds -weird block just mined was to my banknode address per miningkeys.dat

where are you finding these chains? there is only one active chain on 70014

this is from one of my nodes.

there are chains @heights:
258882
259439
259392
258881
258940
258952
258963
...

and are there from a while now ...

Many thanks to those who stood up and helped us get some more nodes that are now providing better connectivity. Of the total 0.22 BTC donated we have 0.15 left, which will be used to spin up more nodes and/or pay for the next 3 months  Smiley

Please keep the private keys for the addresses you sent from.

Another opportunity has arisen, so i would like to gauge interest

How many of you would like to have a android wallet? If the number is large enough, we can do this and have an rc in two days.

Ok, so i have a VPS dedicated to bids syncing bitcoin and bitcredit. I want to run some tests, by Saturday we should have the following final res on that issue:-

bids will be paid out all day on every block (removes incentive for sniping large payouts)
bids will be cleared everyday @ 00:00 GMT automatically (trying to write the cron now)

I just started it fresh with the bootstrap. Copied my conf and wallet. Synced, banknote started and didn't crash on set generate true.
Come to think of it I didn't move over mining keys.Dat so maybe it's crashed by now. Will evaluate tomorrow and will look further at the features (aside from sqlite)
So far so good. Saw all the tiny payouts for my last bid flowing in.

good, now before moving on to enabling some of the stuff i left out, let's fix everything we can and get it all working. messaging is very important as it is how users will communicate with service providers.

voting comes next as i intent to expand it much further and make it more interactive.

please note that for now, while i figure out the qt process for winbdows sqlite , the database wont work.

Do not use a quoted link, use from my post directly. as this is an rc, it will not be posted on the site nor in the OP.

Still no luck with the new wallet.
I tried headless daemon and qt-wallet each on a fresh built linux.
On each connect there is always this error:
'socket recv error Connection reset by peer (104)'
And remote peer disconnects.
Any suggestions?

I see some nodes coming back online.

Until will be 40 nodes with 50k+ that mine adn find blocks, the network will will not move
Soon as windows builds out I got 2 nodes ready to mine. I downloaded the bootstrap. Or I can try and build Linux but I'm Linux noob unless the Linux instructions are crystal clear.
