Jackpots are now something different in every casino. Some places have jackpots that are combined losses of everyone, whenever someone loses money the casino basically puts a small part of the house edge into the jackpot so the jackpot goes bigger and bigger every time someone loses and eventually someone wins the jackpot and it resets.

On the other hand some places literally have "find 7777 and get 100x of your bet" type of fixed "jackpots" which I think is brand new, at least to me, and that equals to them paying out a big chunk of money only when one thing happens but it is also quite good in the sense that people would be capable of gambling and winning back to back as well without having to wait for it to reset and recollect once again for the jackpot to be big.
Jackpots are not normally a thing casinos do for publicity or marketing, it is something they do to keep people from getting bored from regular gambling. Some people like to gamble for gambling sake but some people want to gamble for a purpose, they like to set out some goals and jackpot is the ultimate goal for people who gamble this way.

I feel like maybe people would aim at the jackpot at bitdice and gamble accordingly but there is really no specific method to gamble for jackpot neither, it is more like you just gamble normally and happen to hit jackpot along the way as well. I like it in the sense that I feel like I have a shot, normally jackpot is not something I would look for but this place is different, it gives me a slight hope for it to happen to me as well.

Yeah and meanwhile good old kolloh waits in the wings, not in your face but always there:)

Yup, kolloh is always there, just waiting for the right time.  Smiley

Bitcoin price is creeping back up against the tide. Wasn't expecting it to survive the weekend but I guess we'll see how the traders in China and Japan react on Monday morning, as usual. Hope I haven't jinxed anything;)

If it does go back to 8k and above I suspect we'll see the wagers go up faster!

Hope so mate, unfortunately, we have some minor retracement in the last 24 hours.

But it always feels good to see new names in the leaderboard which makes it more exciting!

@milewilda it seems there was lots of competition this week for the top 5 spots, and it’s really fun to watch when users like these try to gamble their way to the top. I can see few existing and new players on the leaderboard which once again proves Bitdice ability to not only to retain existing users, but attract new players too.

As always. where a certain week does have new faces included and even able to get those 1-3 spots which is a good thing.

On my own view, we would tank up into these levels for quite some time.It might rose or dumped down but that would happen on next year for sure.

What i can think of is another big dump back to 3500 range before any trend reversal. But that would be the chance for casino which gambler would probably cash in from their FIAT and would proably have some spare for gamble.

joksim at least we know that even in the bad days BD is always transparent about everything. There is no investment that is always up, everything that is good also has its bad days, Bitcoin definitely teaches us about that. The same thing in the gambling industry too, variance is something we have to live with and when things pick up we'll be glad we stayed;)

Patience I've learnt in life is absolutely necessary to stay sane!

Jackpots are very small at my casinos I went to, nothing like BD!

Regular jackpots are never big. If you win it while you play with low bets you can win a jackpot but still leave casino with loss. Progressive jackpots are the ones that are big everywhere if they have them. Jackpot accumulate until it is won.

Just started using this site for my daily gambling and so far loving it. Is the active users count on top of the page really accurate? It can't be that so few people are playing and they are able to sustain the site with that...

Yes, it's accurate but soon we will have a new site and market it more. Smiley

@BoXXoB for the new site if you need seo services let me know, I’ll be very happy to help Bitdice rank higher on google.

Snip

If you are interested in how site is doing you can find more info on their Medium blog https://medium.com/@BitDice last quarter they incured net losses of  74k, mostly on staff and legal expenditures.
They used to have more players and turnover before they organized ICO.
They are regularly slow at implementing anything users request or what they announce is never released on time.
Probably you shouldn't have problems with deposit/withdraw otherwise you must be very patient.

Hope that they are smart enough to roll out phase by phase rather than waiting to complete everything and aim for a next big thing lauch. Estimated completion is like 1st Quarter of 2020, I don't think it can be done and base on the information on the reports the project was kicked off no more than 6 months...no way it can't be completed that fast with too many features. It may take another whole full year and probably it will not be finished thus customers are going on for other sites and stay there.

Guys you need to understand that they cannot implement all changes in one go even if multiple users request it, because lots of testing needs to be done before any feature can be added or removed to keep the site stable. However I’m sure Alex and his team will take a note of your comments, but you’ll too should give them more time to properly implement it.

www.Crypto.Games: Multiple coins, multiple games
^^ Yeah, the announcement was made during that day as well, it is awesome that 3 years has gone so great for bitdice. There are tons of casinos that start and either scam people or they just simply fail and so forth, there has been ton of places that both failed and realized they won't make money so they scammed people in return so forth.

Bitdice has overcome the odds and became one of the most successful ones (I don't know how much profit they are making honestly) and they have been doing it steadily for 3 years which I assume if you can run a casino for 3 years there is no reason why it won't turn into forever, they must have made enough money to save aside for even the biggest of whales winning a ton of money, so I assume this was a breaking point to being a great casino forever.

Time flies so fast and I didn't noticed that!

Good catch with that Juggy. 3 years for the ANN thread but it's also said by Alex they went live during 2015. While few casinos that were launched during that time didn't managed to maintain themselves, here's BitDice still standing and getting stronger. Congrats guys.

Actual release date was before this thread indeed. There's been a couple of threads atleast.

@BoXXoB and others when I wrote launched I was referring to this ANN completing three years in a competitive industry, I was not referring to the site launch. Also thank you for updating me about prior threads next time I’ll be more careful, and apologies to anyone who got confused after reading my post.

Asia mate.

Lol, $20-$30? That's just like 10 minutes of playing in roulette in a land based casino. Yeah, saw many people winning jackpot, and I wish I was the one sitting on that slot machine.  Grin

Haha exactly! But in Asia $3 for me is like >10-15 units of currency depending where I go, and most roulette tables at the low stakes let you play 0.1 units. If you go to the other machines (very popular is horse racing) or if you play 1 round of poker with others, you can make $3 last an hour for sure.

Jackpots are very small at my casinos I went to, nothing like BD!

Happy birthday too, I didn't realise it at all, thanks Juggy for pointing out. Big hugs to the family!

Oh I forgot to tell you that I played on top casinos here that can rival Macau and Vegas casinos that's why I said that $20-$30 is not enough.

But there are mid tier casino that you can play like $3-$5 in a slots machine that can extend your playing time at least one to two solid hours of fun.  Smiley.

Of course online games like dice in BD is one the best!!!.

Yeah, there is a huge difference in nations that people do not realize where they are gambling. Just for example if you play in Las Vegas that means you will play with maybe minimum 10 dollars, but most of the big places have like 25-50 dollar minimums for bets in there as well. But, if you go to Malta for example it goes down a bit more, like 5 bucks or even 1 dollar in some places. If you however go to Cyprus its literally almost free, there is as low as cents there.

So, wherever you go to gamble it changes yet in online gambling its always quite small and which creates a huge volume. Bitdice is awesome in that regard as well, you can gamble with altcoins that are quite cheap and also play with 0 decimals which means less than 10 cents per bet.

Hello everyone in case you’ll didn’t notice today Bitdice ANN has completed three years as it was launched on December 1st 2016, and I wanted to personally congratulate Alex, BoXXoB, Kolloh for running this ANN and the site successfully . Also I would like to thank my extended family out here i.e. @slaman29, @milewilda @jossiel, @btc_angela, as it’s always fun to discuss the leaderboard with you’ll. In my opinion a lot has changed for the better at Bitdice in these 3 years, and if you were one of it’s initial users I would like to hear your reviews too.
