Hello everyone in case you’ll didn’t notice today Bitdice ANN has completed three years as it was launched on December 1st 2016, and I wanted to personally congratulate Alex, BoXXoB, Kolloh for running this ANN and the site successfully . Also I would like to thank my extended family out here i.e. @slaman29, @milewilda @jossiel, @btc_angela, as it’s always fun to discuss the leaderboard with you’ll. In my opinion a lot has changed for the better at Bitdice in these 3 years, and if you were one of it’s initial users I would like to hear your reviews too.
Time flies so fast and I didn't noticed that!

Good catch with that Juggy. 3 years for the ANN thread but it's also said by Alex they went live during 2015. While few casinos that were launched during that time didn't managed to maintain themselves, here's BitDice still standing and getting stronger. Congrats guys.

Yeah, three years has been a great deal of improvement as well. They have always been a good place don't get me wrong, like even on the early days they were always a great place but that doesn't change the fact that bitdice has improved a whole lot in the past 3 years neither, they did improved as one of the most improved casinos in the crypto casino in the past 3 years, most places either start with a ton of stuff to compete or they start with one thing and try to perfect that, bitdice has started 3 years ago with the thing they wanted to be good at and became better in many other stuff as well.

Let's hope for many many years with bitdice with these improvements and amazing staff and great people there as well, they deserve where they are and even more.

Asia mate.

Lol, $20-$30? That's just like 10 minutes of playing in roulette in a land based casino. Yeah, saw many people winning jackpot, and I wish I was the one sitting on that slot machine.  Grin

Haha exactly! But in Asia $3 for me is like >10-15 units of currency depending where I go, and most roulette tables at the low stakes let you play 0.1 units. If you go to the other machines (very popular is horse racing) or if you play 1 round of poker with others, you can make $3 last an hour for sure.

Jackpots are very small at my casinos I went to, nothing like BD!

Happy birthday too, I didn't realise it at all, thanks Juggy for pointing out. Big hugs to the family!

Yes, congratulations to the people behind the success of Bitdice, Alex, BoXXoB and Kolloh.

And it was really fun to have discussions with our fellow participants in the signature campaign because we have been here through thick and thin, December 2017 peak and the bearish trend but still we are here supporting each other.  Grin, congrats again to Bitdice and hope we will continue this run to be one of the trusted gambling sites in the crypto-verse.

@juggy @milewilda guess our new boy fidel didn't come back this time, but I see familiar faces in the mix for the week. Just need some good old boredom to hit some whale before we see the flood again. I got to say, these prices are biting a lot of people hard. But you know what they say about good footballers and good crypto;) Form is temporary, class is permanent!

Yeah, there are some familiar faces again in the mix. Probably whales are just around the corner and I'm sure they will come back and play for more. Even in a traditional land based I frequented, there are huge players in roulette and slots games, but I don't see them very often. They will just come and go, specially if they've hit huge amounts. And then come back on other days to try their luck again.

Where is your location? I actually have been to a few casinos but only as a casual visitor when I am nearby and I do tend to see the same players but retirees who don't spend much and stay to participate in the raffles every day (or free food I guess I don't know).

I maybe in my entire life gambled $20 or $30 dollars, nothing like my bitcoin wagers collectively haha.

Ever seen a real life jackpot winner?

Considering there is one 71 bitcoin person but then it goes to 2.5 and then less than 0.5 on the third and even lower afterwards, we could say that it was a fluke player who had one 71 btc but your average is certainly not like that for sure. You could get a decent regulars which would help you a lot better than hoping for a guy with 71 btc.

For example, I would rather have my own casino at 10 btc first place, 8 btc second, 5 btc third etc etc every single week then have a 71 btc guy once in a while. At least if you have constant players that would mean when one of them leaves the system still works with just a small hit yet if you continue with 71 guy when he leaves you are done with very low wagers and takes a huge hit. That is just my opinion tho, I never ran a casino so I can't really talk with experience.

It is not that easy to own a casino especially during its start as it needs not just reputation but the interface, the speed, support and the games available. So every single player whale or small fish is appreciated. It is hard to assess what is better unless there are full reports. Some casino may have the numbers you stated but with only few players compared to smaller but thousand bets. An example is Betking where some of my family and friends played and invested. Long time ago, it was known as the casino of whales where double digits to hundreds of bitcoins wagered daily by many players are common. But when it comes to income, it still lost to Primedice due to its massive users.

Massive number of users yield massive number of bets and wagering volume as well as it will yield 1% house edge fast enough for the casino to have steady income, while relying on few random whales which poping up here and there sometimes, might take them longer to have that 1% house edge in bag since the whale might get lucky and managed to run away with few btcs profit and thus in a worst case scenario the whale will only come back few months later only to lose what he won and contribute his capitol into the house edge so...the casino will run with deficit for that number of months.

Anyway you need to have patient since they are promising and working on new features, who know by then there will be mass of users both rich and poor. The problem is, when will it be since any project will certainly get delayed, it might be there by start of 2020 but might be end of 2020 or even 2 more years. Hope that they are doing well and follow a modular based development which roll out features one by one, not to let people wait for too long just to have other casinos to take advantage of and take all customers. As you can see, few sites with "dice" alone are performing extremely well without the need of those cards and slots games.

Although this is just an example but as you have said, you never ran a casino and that guy who owns 71 BTC or more does have the same opinion as you.

Starting out your own casino isn't that easy and building the trust and reputation will take time. And if that huge player leaves, for sure there will be another one that will come.

hello. today i tried to login but i forgot my password so i sent a request to my email but there is no email coming Sad

It's their known issue, i did forget my password in 2 or 3 months back, and that reset email was never sent to my address, moment later i managed to retrieve the old password and logged in with that,  so it was never fixed until today. The admin should check for this flaw, since both the email sending is not working & password reset is not working too. For all sytems the moment you clicked forget password it's already changed to something randomly and is to be used as new password for sending to the user, the key to note here: it might just read what ever stored in database to send back to the user (that's why the old one never get changed) thus..it might be saved as plain text without any encryption!
