The Airdog is very meh. If you want a consumer-grade quadcopter with follow-me and waypoint functionality, buy yourself a 3DRobotics Iris+ and you're sorted.
Just saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yOCTgVqmeQ . Really impressive. 750$ is a very good price too .
Thanks for telling us about it.
Woah, $750 is a great price. I may sell my Bebop and grab one of those if Parrot doesn't tighten up their software.
It's a definite good buy. I don't think the Bebop compares to that. Also parrot is really lazy(that's if you're android) when it comes to their software. I wouldn't be expecting anything good from them now on. Not hating on your drone, it's also very nice. The only thing that I say is better is the user friendly controls and the included camera and live view.
I think the Bebop is better than that drone... Gimbals are a thing of the past on drones. Once you've seen how much smoother the fisheye/software solution is and how it creates perfect shots without the rounded distortion on other drones, you won't be able to use anything else. I think the software is pretty awesome. All sorts of flight data and 3d mapped flight trackers. It could be more user friendly, but once you figure it out and download the local maps, it's pretty amazing. My only gripe with the Bebop is low battery life and lack of range. I've already purchased an upgraded battery for mine, and am considering buying the skycontroller to help with range.
