i get my 2 antminer s9 batch 12 today i powered one by EVGA 1600G2 in cold room using air condition
and the second still not powered because i can't find C13 cord for AWP5

maybe this?

check his other thread. Needs a Shuko pin type for the wall

They have those too although not high enough wire gauge: http://www.cableleader.com/power/international-power-cords/european-power-cord.html

i have this cables come with computer C13 10A-230V (0.75mm)
why there power supply using C13 in first place ?
they should use C19 to find cord with 2mm
now i need to power 4 boards on 2 antminer S9 using one power supply on 220V
can this power cord handle that ?
C13 is the most common and easiest to find connector. Yes many computer cords using it are too thin, I've seen some as small as 18ga which is only good for 8 amps. But - the C13 is available with cords up to 16ga rated for 14amps and those are what you need.

Yes the C19 plugs/sockets are rated for higher current but are also harder to find.

Well just looked at Bitmains website and the new B14 S9 is $7 cheaper than the R4 was on sale for. Reckon the next R4 batch will be cheaper?

Prices will come down as soon as there's no longer a monopoly on SHA gear. At least that's the hope. We already know BW has current-gen chips (but they aren't letting gear out of house) and Bitfury has current-gen chips (but nobody knows how many or where), and rumor says Avalon's working on one (but has that been confirmed anywhere?) so hopefully Bitmain will have some competition soon.

No, I just honestly don't know. It depends on a lot of factors I can't control. So I don't want to even set an estimated time because the schedule will get blown one way or another.

So... how 'bout them Bitmains?

I pay 5cents/kwh ( USD not CAD) for power at my host site. Best i can do with Bitmains is 13 mths if I don't have to buy a PSU to run a rig. It goes way beyond 13 mths if I buy R4s instead of S9s. So, they're way out of my radar right now. Given the overhead cost of industrial mining companies plus they pay at least as much for power as I do, i can't see how they can make break even on currently available sha256 rigs. Eventually, many will go broke. That will stop the centralization that's currently happening. Then we can get back to reasonable prices for rigs and decentralization.

With other rigs that are available on other algos, I can make ROI in less than 7 mths  in my home at 12.5 cents (CAD) for power. It's only 2 mths for the best algo. So, it's pretty much a "no brainer". No more sha256 rigs for me until the correction happens and things get back to the true spirit of bitcoin- ie: decentralization.

Fortunately I have nobody at home to kick me out. Unfortunately I also have nobody at the shop to help and only one air-conditioned room there. But sales are slow these days and I've never had great margins so diversifying the product line hopefully will help get ahead. We can't all be Bitmain, with a monopoly and captive customer base .

When are the new Compacs coming out?

If I actively took on that many projects at one time, I would come home one day to find my stuff on the curb. I need a good work space. Something with electricity and HVAC that is also big and detached from the house would do nicely.
