If they stay sold out this time, I'm guessing they sold about 2500 units so far based off of the average price vs how much BCH they have in their wallet. somewhere between 2500 and 2800. You have to consider the fact that some of these orders included PSU's.

actually they sold more then 100k Smiley todays x11 hashrate is 4ph no new miners for a month so it is maximum for now, this means that if all of that hashrate is from several companies including bitmain if it was only bitmain then they would sold 220k units, so there is minimum 220k x11 units out there and majority of those units are from bitmain more then half actually

you can calculate for sure but reality is this, bitmain screwed us D3 buyers and bitmain will do same to A3 miners and if you expect that coin price will go up better to buy coin

Yes, because in the ASIC game, it's completely normal to order a single run of 20M chips. It's not like the foundry makes you enter a timeline, schedule production well in advance, and make production commits.

Ya, the X11 stuff was all bitmain's fault! Don't buy! At least not until I can open a few more accounts under various cousin's names.

Already sold out again. Bitmain however did state that they would announce on Twitter when it was officially sold out so keep an eye on twitter. If you don't see a sold out message then refresh their page every couple of minutes and those that missed out will be able to get 1. Like I said, don't let the numbers trick you, these will be profitable but there is risk involved. Especially if they flood the market like they did the D3's.

Why yikes? When these asics come out everyone else will stop mining on their gpu, cpu, etc. The difficulty readjustment is also broken and should be fixed at block 139,000. Based upon my calculations each unit should still make $700/day even with 1700 units being sold (once the difficulty adjustment is fixed).

Oh, you guys are doing calculations based on messed up difficulty.

For sure, 700$ / day easy. We will all get 20k per month guys ! GO GO GO   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

That's what I did with my Avalon batch 1s and 2s and then I sold them for 25K each. First hardware to market is always the most profitable. This is the first batch, with no other manufacturers scheduled for delivery until June. Their typical batch size is around 2K. All of these ASICs will displace the existing miners who will lose profitability and go mine something else. So, what it comes down to is that this batch is going to make up 100% of the SIA hashrate. Your profitability can be determined like so: Nmachines / TotalSold = percentage of batch. Coins per block * 144 (blocks per day) * exrate * yourpercentage = your btc per day.

Also, keep in mind, difficulty for SIA is currently BROKEN. Hashrate is not as high as you think. So all those whattomine calculators aren't worth clicking buttons on.

Well, I didn't take a chance. My bad if I am wrong. Still I find it too good to be true, even with every AMD dual miner moving out. With 10days delivery, we will find out soon.

so here is a thing now difficulty is 933,520,449,715,105,000.000 and network hashrate is 600th

if they sell 100K units network hashrate will be 85000th=85ph

to know difficulty of that 85ph we need to divide that number to current hashrate and multiply to current difficulty

so 85000/600=142   142*933,520,449,715,105,000.000=1.325599e+20 if we add this number to calculator we will get those numbers

keep in mind that bitmain sold around 150-200k D3 it wont be different for this miner too Smiley

Bitmain didn't sell 100K D3s. There were like 8 companies all releasing X11 hardware at the same time.

Although it does need to be said for the noobs.... DONT THROW YOUR LIFE SAVINGS INTO THIS!!

Just go back and look at the D3 history. These may look like they will make you millionaires quick but they won't. They will be profitable but the numbers are going to be wrong until we can figure out how many they sell in the first batch. I'm calculating about 2000 to 2050 ATM.

Prepare to be plagued by scammers. Please use escrow if possible.

Got one...

Love the blockchain...see the money flows into this account. So far it looks like they have sold over 1400 units

Please stop already, lol. So difficulty will atleast triple quadruple when all these are online? Hopefully they'll not sell more than 2000 units.

You forget that Bitmain has been mining for the last 2 weeks with these units. Therefore the added hash rate will be 0.

Lets see what happens.

They sold that many D3's over the course of 4 months. I don't expect the A3 to make a ton of money like the calculator shows but it will remain profitable if they don't sell many of the first batch. The first batch will obviously be most profitable. After that though..it just depends on what SiaCoin does..look what happened with Dash after its difficulty shot up. NOT saying this will happen with Siacoin obviously because the amount of coins circulating but I would still expect a decent jump in SiaCoin. Some of you might be better off in just buying SiaCoin and hoping it will jump lol

Were any of yall able to use coupons? I have a few of them and Im not able to use it even for power supplies for some strange reason.
Also currently you can order more than one, although not at the same time, but in different orders. Ah well, Ill give this a shot and see what happens.

Hi guys,

I don't think it's the same chipset like D3
A3: BM1720 D3: BM1760

Bye, FNT

They're different because the D3 are x11 and the A3 are Blake 2b. The similarities are the fact that the blake 2b difficulty is about to skyrocket. I'm sure Bitmain has been "testing" these for a while now on Siacoin, either that or they are going to test them for 10 days so keep an eye on it. At least they are limiting these to 1 per customer. I'm happy with the 2 that I was able to get my hands on.

I'm sure they're testing to make sure they work - but they either have a very small batch or are not testing on the main-net since the global hashrate hasn't really done anything unusual lately.
