Hi.
Does anyone got firmware for DR3 from 2018? Cause this from 2019 doesnt have custom fan control

I fired my DR3 back up recently.  Would like to under volt it.  I am just shy of being able to fit another miner on my 20A circuit.  Anyone under volt these?

Wondering if this script will work?

Mine is working much more stably now on 230V. While on 115V it threw hw errors at very high rate and lost chips status gradually.

Hi guys,

Does anybody have pictures of the PCB / inside of the DR3. (chips used? BM xxxx)

A3 and DR3 should be quite the same as the algo is quite the same. (check blake algo)
So maybe the DR3 is a modification of A3?

Thanks for information!

Bye, FNT

What frequency are you mining on?

7.4 GH/s (Real Time). Chain #1 has 3 x and chain #2, 2.

Yes but I’m not talking about Hw errors showing in the Hw column, my boards are showing some “x” instead of O. Same thing even at 400 frequency so I’m thinking some of the chips are damaged.

About 2 or 3 ships show as "x" on 2 of my boards after and hour or so. The hashrate does not go down by much though. So I'm just letting it be.

I received my miner yesterday. I was hoping to overclock but even at the stock 410 I’m getting chip errors on the second and 3rd boards. I contacted bitmain support and their solution is to reduce to 400 and restart several times.  Even if I get the chip errors they say it’s ok as long as it’s stable and no further action is needed. What a load of BS. Brand new unit, ROI is already down the crapper and it can’t even run at the stock frequency.

Some HW errors are normal, but if it's visible affecting the hashrate keep bugging them until they replace the board.

Clueless!
This must be the worst bitmain product they came up with.

They mined this 'puppy' for months before releasing it to the public...and only after the monster innsilicon units came out and the next obelisk decred units

were to come out...this is always the case when they announce on a Friday and say they will ship yours on Friday's order, the next week! (production run is well in hand

from their previous filling up of their data halls)

this was true of the D3 the B3 and the DR3 (note the 3 where the hell are dr1 and dr2?) anyway all had quick out the door orders

it is how they roll now..make a boutique one off miner off an obscure coin in ASiC mode (1.5 months to mask the chips and 1.5 months to make the unit)

use on own data hall for months...then dump the dregs on to the silly consumers

rinse/wash/repeat

(Bitmain: We do evil well!) (tm: Bitmain)

i clocked both of mine to the max at 450 Frequency, lots of HW errors - im at 3.6% HW error rate doing this at max frequency

From the web interface
1d6h34m24s   Current GH/S  8,526.48    AVG GH/S  8,531.99

Both run about the same, (the other is showing 8.7 TH/s

Got 1 on monday and other on thursday (due to held up in customs).  No fees via Fedex for US customs on both (both were in same order too, dont know why 1 came monday and the other was delayed until thursday) - no power supplies ordered, but i can tell you bitmain is gaming the paperwork with random jibberish as to whats inside so fedex probably too confused on that aspect.  Different from prior antminer orders.

From the dashboard at btc.com (im in the US, using their china node so not optimized but didn't have time yet to setup anything else) as  i'm not on any pools that supported DCR stuff.  And as usual it wouldnt work at nicehash when i tried there first.

DCR earnings Yesterday
0.56099935

And its showing 17.56 TH/s avg at the pool for what it's worth and 16.5 TH/s 'real time' showing at BTc.com's pool. .  So obviously my hw errors and reported speed net down to the real number they show.

I've got too many items plugged in to tell what its pulling at the wall with the over clock sorry.  But my APC PDU shows 3.92 KW with (2) of these Antminers, and 4 x Z9 mini's and about another 200 watts for a couple of cisco ASA / switches in thatrack powered on the same pdu.

No doubt it will be a long ROI battle at the end, but getting in as early as possible leaves some hope.

But figured that info may help some.  My opinion, its a horrible power hungry box compared to other DECRED miners coming soon, but i've learned my lesson - get the very first units, or don't bother.  Then sell it on ebay about 30-45 days in... guaranteed roi that way.   Of course just because i learned my lesson doesn't mean I will follow it, i just keep running them in the farm long past when i should sell them off usually.

A fewl and his money.... Ill leave that here lol

We are not retail.
Lame, we have a few orders we just had manufacturers hold till after the holiday, so they could transit more fluidly. If we're lucky we'll see batch two ship notifications start coming tonight or tomorrow.

You ordered these into the US? With traiffs none our batch one's went into the states.

My order of 2 got stuck in Fedex customs all week.  Some stupid excuse about Chinese National Holiday week.  Fedex Trade Networks was not answering the phone for most of the week.  Hold for 60 minutes then they hang up on you.

I am hoping they clear and arrive on Monday or Tuesday.
