about OC batch 2, I have 2 miners at this moment and both can't OC more 650M... become unstable! not an issue with PSU.

Appears as though we need to have an ASIC manufacturer move their operations to the United States.

Considering the difference in cost, manufacturing, and importing parts? I kinda doubt that'll happen under this regime.

The invoice shows the old tariff classification. Customs changed it when they saw ANTMINER on my invoice.

Those of you who shipped with UPS and were charged the 25% tariff - was the tariff shown on your tracking info? and if so before or after the export scan at shenzhen?

The only one I ever paid and didn't protest was the one on my batch 1 Z9-mini. The one that arrived today had no fee. All shipped through UPS I should add.

The ruling on "antminers" classification was June 8th -- but that's just standard processes, I think... somehow or another it came to their attention to look at in more detail. The quote and apparent calculations of 25% is def. wrong as best I can tell with the current information. Mine are Z9s so I'm expecting to deal with this next week, hopefully by not having to deal with it at all.

I just know at 3 Z9s * 25%, I'll fight any way I can to validate the classification -- 2.6% I'd rather not pay, but it is tolerable at least.

*EDIT*: Finally found it in the full August 2018 ruling -- in the chart for 8543.70.9960, it says 2.6% and "1/" -- the 1/ is a reference to the bottom of the page which tells you to look at 9903.88.02 and 9903.88.02 is a 25% duty.

so .... reclassification is the only option. Meh.
