D3 are far from only rigs whats in my farm but when they become the bastard of the group they deserve a kick.

Right now if someone offered me a brand new Aorus 1080 ti or a D3 i wouldnt hesistate to take the gpu.

Everybody talking shit of the D3s don't really know what to mine is and should gtfo when you get into mining you usually are looking at a 6 months ROI in the best case scenario because of the recently bitcoin price increase made the S9s more profitable does not mean the D3s are worthless one wise man said "Don't put all your eggs on a single basket" as you shouldnt have only D3's, S9s or whatever.

Them D3's are pretty useless whatever you mine, been switching between Antpool, Nicehash, coinmine.pl.........All pretty much the same meagre results...
Should consider myself lucky that my orders got messed up and ended up with msotly L3's and only 1 D3.....Thank god for that.......But seriously the D3 is a heartache.......Thinking about unplugging it, pulling the fuckig cards out and turn the thing into a vase for flowers or something......Better use lol

Hey man,

I don't want to scare you, but you should take some fast actions cooling down the room, otherwise you'll be facing serious issues really soon. 6000+ RPMs is the 100% capacity of the fans, and even with that you are above 80 degrees. L3+ shuts down itself automatically at 80 to prevent heat damage, no idea why they removed it from D3. My machine is running with:

Fan# Fan1 Fan2
Speed (r/min) 4,470 4,410

and the temp of the 3 chips is: 70, 72, 78

Thx for the advice, now is running at 74 degrees.

Was there any reason why they removed that feature. Was a nice safety valve on the L3s, but yeah keep those temps down otherwise it will brick
