Hey Angus,

Post a screenshot of your miner configuration and wan interface configuration so we can help you here.

Chuck

I don't think its the config pool says its alive but no hashrate and the green light on the side of miner is not lit up.

my wan set up 192.168.2.35 ipv4
                255.255.255.0 netmask
                 192.168.2.1 default gateway
                   192.168.2.255 ipv4 broadcast
                      8.8.8.8 custom dns server

miner config  stratum+tcp://pool.webcoin.us:3388
                    AngusCanine.Jason
                     1234

Looks like your router is set to 192.168.2.x

Do you have access to your router? You have to change the router to 192.168.1.x in order to access to the antminer.

I have access to s1  those values are the s1's new address and my mining pool, funny enough ive switched pcie's and the green led on out side of miner on the board came back on. but still not hashing pools alive, zero hash rate
NTP problem? maybe...

Yo angus!

Try to ping 192.168.1.99 WHILE you are connected to the same internet network as the  s1. This will(hopefully) tell you whether your s1 is on that ip or not.

You can also try resetting the s1 to the default ip (there should be a sticker above the stock fan...). To reset, there is a small black button below the ethernet board. press that for around 45 secs while it's running.

or... you can download a ip scanner to scan ips in your network. trial and errot test.

Hope this helps!

Laptop can be wireless, that's fine.  So can the Ant, but for stability purposes let's keep the Antminer on Ethernet.

Were you able to connect to the Ant and configure?

cant connect to s1 at  http://192.168.1.99  Trying to connect from my laptop; Ethernet cable is pluged into bell 2wire gateway. when I type in ip says page cant be displayed

Is your laptop and router on the same network as the Ant?

From your laptop, do an ipconfig, and confirm it's also a 192.168.1.x address first.

Its not the same how do I change it and should the Ethernet cable be plugged in the router or my laptop

First take note of what your Laptop IP is and what your Router IP is(Gateway usually ending in .1) by doing an Ipconfig on the laptop.

Connect an ethernet cable directly from your laptop to the Antminer.  On your laptop, change your laptop Network Adapter setting(not wifi adapter) from automatic to manual or static IP address on same network as Antminer.  This is usual in Network and Sharing, Network connections, Local Area Connection, Properties, IPv4.   Make it like 192.168.1.123 or something, Subnet mask 255.255.255.0, and Gateway 192.168.1.1 then hit OK and OK again.

Give it a few seconds to connect to the Antminer network, then go to a browser and go to 192.168.1.99.  Log into the Antminer then go to Network, Interfaces, WAN, Edit.  Change the IP to a free IP on the same network your laptop and router is on, make sure the gateway is the same IP as your router IP, leave mask alone, then make custom DNS 8.8.8.8
Click Save and Apply, give it a minute or so, then unplug ethernet cable, set your Laptop back to Automatic IP.

Once your laptop back on the same network as router, open browser then go to Antminer new IP and login, configure Miner configuration with pool address and worker info, and you should be on your way.

Good luck,

network connections only wifi or Ethernet? should the laptop be connected via Ethernet also?

well, for those wondering whether it is safe or not, i purchased my antminer on a saturday... sent an email and received no response (no email from purchase nor when its shipped nothing), however, monday was shipped, and by wednesday/thursday was at my house.

it's been working for the past 2hr~ at steady 178GH/s (no overclock) w a 750corsaircm... all good, recommended...
Purchased from whom? Bitmain? They are kinda slow with responding to e-mail but pretty good at getting merchandise out the door. But I am curios in case you got that from someone else.

bitmain, i bought it directly from them-
