Yes, that is a good test amount.

I just bought in at .0029 which is pretty good for me, but it may not last long.

Thats good.   I have been renting 100th, 250th and 500th.   Waiting till I make a little back before I invest too much.. lolz

Nice to meet ya AriesIV10.

Never rented hash before so don't know what to do   Undecided

NiceHash.com is the best.  Sign up for an account.  Send bitcoin to the NiceHash Wallet.  Setup Pool details: mint.bitminter.com.  Create new order.  Don't forget to setup a new miner name on Bitminter to send the Hash to.

Does it have to be a different worker or can it be the same worker name ive already got?

It can be the same worker, but I would recommend that you create a new one to see the hashing difference.

Well ive setup my account just waiting for the payment to clear (first time ive sent btc so hope ive done it correctly). Also set up another worker as you've suggested.

Still got to wok out the orders aspect, but would like to cover as many shifts as possible to raise my share of the block if one is found.

Remember:  you want as much hashrate as you can get for the cheapest price for the longest period of time so, check the going rate for the orders in SHA256 before making an order as different times of the day have better rates than others.  Also, play around with the (btc, speed, and price) in the new orders to get the best value.

We should all rent a PedaHash or 2 from NiceHash at once and shake out another BTC.

Anyone in?

Hopefully we will get a drop in difficulty

Bitcoin Difficulty:   163,491,654,909
Estimated Next Difficulty:   158,205,408,409 (-3.23%)
Adjust time:   After 628 Blocks, About 4.5 days

That'll be nice.  Im getting fed up with these loooooong gaps between blocks. Although waking up to a double whammy this morning was nice.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like we are heading back to normal reject ratios again. Smiley

Is there something wrong with the pool? Just logged in and saw an unusually high rejected rate  Undecided

Current shift does have a high reject ratio. Everything looks normal (to me) though, including latency communicating with servers. Could possibly be some part of the net lagging. I'll switch servers around a bit and see if it helps.

Ok no problem. I'm only a small fish in the pool but just pointing it out.  Wink

Make Bitcoin glow with ENIAC
Thank you for the reply.
In the mean time I Googled it and found the answer.
It adjusts after every 2016 blocks are mined.

So the next adjustment in difficulty should be in approximately 2 weeks.

Just a small correction.

Estimated Next Difficulty:   176,758,147,687 (+8.11%)
Adjust time:                      After 1902 Blocks, About 13.8 days

Looks more like a small drop in difficulty.

I wouldn't mind some sanity in the coming months.
