I wrote everything from scratch, the miner, the mining pool backend and the web application. The only existing bitcoin software I'm using is bitcoind. I haven't modified bitcoind, but if/when I do, I will of course check the license first.
About the pool operator stealing work or charging a higher commission: these are issues with any pool and has nothing to do with the miner. Any miner will send its work to a pool and you just have to hope you get paid. I hope that some users will give my pool a chance and with time I can show that I'm trustworthy, like Slush, Deepbit and other pools have already done. I plan to make statistics available to make everything as transparent as possible. I also have audit logs of every proof-of-work ever submitted to the pool. I could make them available if there is interest in this. Any opinions on this and other security or anti-cheating features would be highly appreciated.
I will look into adding support for HD 3800s, but it will take a while before I can get to it - I have to get some statistics and other things done first of all.

Source code? Not to be that guy, but running random programs is asking for wallet theft, even in Java.
if all it takese is an application to steal your wallet.dat, then you've made the fundamental mistake of not securing your wallet properly. i'd be more concerned about these closed source projects using my GPU to mine for its creator instead of me.

I might consider supporting 3800s. I even have a 3870x2 lying around. But isn't Stream a deprecated and unsupported technology?
It must be installed on *nix boxes.

It's closed source, sorry. The only file access is through the webstart muffin interface for storing settings (webstart muffins are similar to browser cookies). Unfortunately it still cannot run sandboxed because it needs access to native libraries for GPU mining.
Is it based on or containing any code from any of the open-source miners? If you have even a tiny amount of their code in there you have to release the source. Unless you open-source this I'm never going to use it. You could easily lie about the hash rates or expropriate more than your stated comission. Heck, it could do anything.

You could encrypt the wallet or run this software as a user who does not have access to the wallet files. Also, for wallets with large sums in them, it may be best not to have them with a user that is for everyday work. Perhaps you'd even want to have a "vault" wallet that's not even on the computer normally. Compare with how shops won't store large amounts of cash in the shop over time. You need a little money easily accessible and the rest stored safely.

It works on Windows, Linux and Mac. On Mac it doesn't detect your CPU model and just calls it "CPU" - I'll fix this in a later release, but it's a little difficult without a Mac to test on.
The tweak thing is for all the settings for each GPU, instead of all the -a -b -c -w options other miners have. For now it doesn't remember the settings when you restart the program - this will also be fixed in a later release.
Feedback welcome! How fast is it compared to your regular miner? Is your GPU detected properly and the red/green markings on the gauge in a sensible place? Any bugs?
