Hmm, how do i increase level on bitvest? I played some dice and palinko with tokens, but didn't seem to change anything.
Or do i need to wager btc?
You need to wager in Bitcoin Ethereum and other coins which are supported by Bivest then you can increase your rank and then you will able to have some good tips like other members.

The information on how much to be wagered to reach each level is available under the Help Tab.
Of course wagering need to be done with real money, tokens wagering wont count towards this leveling system.
@btcltcdigger, you need to wager 0.01btc or equivalent in other currency to reach your 1st level.
For more details, better to check the Help Section Tab.

I'm a lvl 2 now, with only $5 invested Cheesy

Yeah, this website has one of the biggest rain makers because it also allows you to gamble for a lot of money and win a huge amount as well. I don't really remember what the max bet was but the max earning is huuuuge here, which causes people to rain a lot of money if they get lucky.

I remember back in the day that was the norm, people would distribute their earnings when they get a huge win, of course not all of it but like 10% of it so that people would cheer them, there wasn't really a big reason for it, some people initially did it and it became a gambling cultre in crypto world, just like in real life when you win big you tip the dealer even though you do not have to. But, after a while in many places there was "hidden" usernames started and people just stopped paying when they made a big win and just hide behind their usernames, which I guess they have a right to do.

I have never really earned much from the rain on bitvest but it is okay since I do not really chat anyway. People there all know each other and it is hard to get in and find someone to reply to you except occassiaonlly the nice mods,,, but good to see that this is a good way for people to earn. Me I just gamble and quest. Lately invest not so good but time is needed:)

Wow, bonus rain received a 200M tip! You have to be level 1, to claim the rains, hurry up, get your account to level to 1, chat, claim this rain, and cash out in account conversion to BTC or altcoins. It will run out soon  Smiley

One of the biggest in Bitvest History. third, to the 1 Billion - first, 1 BTC tip.

Crikes that is a lot of bonus rain. Did someone else hit it big again? Wasn't so long ago when we had that big winner and that incredible tip that ate up years of my investment profit =D

Anyway popped in for a while and that tip's already halved haha. I got on the tail end of one of the rains for 20k, sokay;) Really good to see big winners at this site, healthy activity, nice.

On June 17, 2020, an exploit was made against how we handle ETH contract deposits. This allowed a user to trick our systems into thinking valid funds were deposited, when in fact, they were transactions that would later become invalid. Multiple deposits were made, and bets were placed with these funds. We have since patched the exploit, so this will not occur again.

The exploit involved many transactions, the majority of the coins were "deposited" with this transaction.

In total, investors received 12.35 ETH in profits, less 0.85 ETH in commissions. A net profit of 11.50 ETH from the fraudulent deposits.

We have rolled back the bets placed with the fraudulent funds and adjusted investor balances accordingly.

Bitvest itself made a small loss from funds that were withdrawn from our wallets. We will be covering this part of the loss out of our pockets.

No user or investor funds are at risk or were ever at risk due to this exploit. It was caught quickly, and the losses mitigated before any losses exceeding the size of our hot wallets occurred.

We are sorry for the lack of attention some manual withdrawals have received lately.

Lightlord and I are currently discussing some changes we will be making to better maintain our standards. For a start, I have updated our admin alert/notification system to send us high priority alerts for any >20 hour old pending transactions. It will notify us periodically for each transaction once it is past due for processing.

Thanks for the note Zodiac, Lightlord. I think this makes things a whole lot easier in managing expectations and as most of us say, we're quite understanding of the situation -- personally and professionally.

Good call and good update.

I'd also like to say I made a substantial withdrawal on the day of this update and it took <1 hour to be manually processed. Things are returning to normal I'd say!

Lightlord is a quite busy person. I do not know how many places he owns or he works for, I have no clue if he owns all of these places or just is an employee, but he is not a good one in neither of those. Look at his signature campaign places for the biggest example, dude pays like once a month or something, he pays extra for the late fee to keep everyone happy, and I get that you might be busy to pay everyone at the correct time if you are busy, but once a month?

It was first once a week, then he said he was busy and did it once every other week and now it is once a month. Same with his casinos, hot wallet gets emptied, he is "busy" once again, it gets refilled a bit too late, repeat it again and again. It is getting a bit silly, he should either spend more time focusing on these places or he should hire someone to do it for him.

I believe that lightlord is the owner of these two gambling sites (Bitvest and 777coin) and probably he do not have enough staffs to help him in managing the two sites.
Afaik the only one who help lightlord is zodiac, no one else.
Zodiac has said that they are working to make something better, hopefully in all things including the payment of the sign campaign.
It is just very unfortunate if old project like bitvest and 777coin is not able to serve their players as well as their campaign participants in the best way.

That is the thing about these companies, if it is human related there should be a lot of humans to participate in this that you need just the majority. For example, you could have 20 people with a key and even though that is a lot of people but at least you will only need 11 of them, now I don't know how many people bitvest has working with them but whatever the number is, it will be better and bigger than just one.

When you give all the rights to only owner and that's it, that is scarily easy. What happens if that dude just dies? Would you keep waiting forever just because that dude is dead and he can't join to cold storage? I mean there should be some sort of mechanism that would allow people to get a better reach to hot wallet and get paid very quickly.

@Red Golpe and @btcltcdigger Like I said, I have no problems with people needing real life, I think we're all extremely understanding people, more so in crypto business than we are with real life businesses. But it's not been a problem of days or weeks, it's been a problem ever since that time the whale got off a huge sum of the btc bankroll.

And we knew and understood the site would need time to rebalance. Anyway, let's hope our constructive comments nudge an appropriate response. We of course wish nothing but the best for BV.

@Red Golpe and @btcltcdigger I think anyone would be anxious to wait even a minute longer than the max of 18 hours that BV publishes. I'm also okay to wait days if it really does take that long to get the cold storage out and send me. I know I got anxious after waiting 2 days for mine -- I think this all started from the day that one guy got about 20 btc was it?

But yeah, be real nice to get some clarification to put everyone at ease. I'm an investor so not about to w/d but would be good to know if I needed it urgently I could have it back quick.

Well i assume cold wallet is something like a ledger which requires a person to plug it in, and transfer.
And when a human is involved in the process, you know, life happens. Maybe he's on holiday, or affected by covid-19, maybe his GF dumped him and he's suicidal....who knows

The problem is they are scared to put more money in hot wallet... always dealys
They are scared for good reason. I, for one, feel safer knowing that my money is on a cold wallet and I am fine if I have to wait a couple of days for a withdrawal. My only suggestion would be to get rid of the 18-hour notice on the website.

Ditto. I'd rather wait 7 days than risk losing it. Especially for anything more than 0.1 BTC
I would say having a hot wallet with a button on the finger to stop it whenever needed is a lot better choice than not having money in the hot wallet at all. If you are afraid that there could be a hack and the money should be in the cold wallets, just have a hot wallet act as if a cold wallet with a switch button where you can remove all the money from there to a cold wallet with an easy click.

That way if the admins ever sense a trouble going on, they would not allow any withdrawal to happen, move the money to cold storage and check out what is going on. But having zero money on hot wallet and making people wait for their withdrawals with the idea that cold storage is there to protect them too could only work for few hours only, not constantly and consistently doing the same thing.

Don't get me wrong, I too got anxious when it happened to me and as I said a notice would be fine. Still, better late, anxious and safe than fast, happy and robbed.
