Thug for life!
Dev,
Will you be doing pod? I read you say in your whitepaper "you might get verified" . Why are you not doing pod? It only takes 3-4 days?

I like the idea behind this coin and agree with the OP.  I think ALL Dev's should be willing to submit to Verification Services and be held accountable for their actions.  I recall reading about you getting verified and hope you make the decision to do so, I cannot see why an honest developer would need to hide.

Bravo, and thank you for sticking with your coin. I'm sure it can be discouraging being a coin dev, but we could use a trustworthy one in this space!

That's why I am invested in Bitz - I'm not expecting to get rich overnight, but I do expect it will grow gradually as people discover that it is run by an honest and hardworking dev.

Bitz weekly update - Sunday 14/06/2015

I wanted to apologise for last weeks update which may have been a bit negative. After a week of work and watching numerous scam coins being launched there is no doubt that I stay committed to this project and will drive it forward.

This week I wanted to start off with some stats. There has been a bit of trading on C-Cex over the last couple of days and today there has been about 0.2 BTC worth of trade and the price at the time of writing is 768 sats. Still cheap in my opinion. No trade on the other exchanges.

The Bitz website has had around 176 visitors over the last week so it’s not that busy. The top 10 countries visiting the Bitz website (since the start) are:
1. US
2. Unknown (not set in the browser I guess)
3. UK
4. China
5. Japan
6. Brazil
7. Germany
8. Indonesia
9. South-Korea
10. Russia

On average less than 50% of Bitz are staking but the staking is working well.

I am still promoting Bitz to other exchanges but the responses are lacking.

I want to make a few comments on the 1st dev. cycle of the roadmap:
The additional node and block explorer will be up soon (by the end of June)
We are currently considering options for 2FA and will update when we have decided on how it will be implemented.
I have not started work yet on the layout for the new wallets (dual mode) as the 2FA is the first priority right now.
We got added to Cryptopia and I keep working on the others.

So I guess that the roadmap is in effect and I hope that it will stay on course. Our commitment to this project stay strong.

Also, a treat for followers of Bitz are being rolled out, probably in the next 2-3 weeks. This is because I have “rediscovered” Clams and I found that I had some Clams that I dug up using my Bitcoin wallet.dat file. If you are unfamiliar with Clams go and seek them out and if you had Bitcoins in a wallet on 12/05/2014 you will get some free Clams. So on that note, we are working on a pure PoS coin to supplement Bitz and that will be distributed free to followers of Bitz only in a similar way to Clams. I will set a date at some point in the near future and offer and distribute coins to everyone holding Bitz on that date. There will be a verification process that I will get back to. No small print or any weirdness, just free coins to Bitz followers. Maybe in the future the two will in some way be linked, we’ll see…

So, renewed effort and on we go…

Despite the fact that I like BITZ, I have problems with CCex in the past and have stopped any trading there. (The issue of withdrawal of delisted UFO coins at that time was never taken care of; Pride-C-Cex himself paid back some of the coins when the crypto was listed again and he has not been active (by that name) for about 5 months now.  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8388206)

The immediate issue for me is also the fact that whenever I sign-in @ C-Cex with the email address, it states that "user not found" but while attempting to create a new account with that email  address, it states that the address has been taken.

In either way, I need to be comfortable enough to trade @ C-Cex again.

I understand your concerns, me myself, I have never had any issues with C-Cex like that. I don't use it much but still. At the moment the problem for Bitz is that Bittrex and others wants payment to list coins and I simply can not afford to pay to have Bitz listed at the moment. So, we have to take the slow route and wait until there are enough people wanting to buy for Bittrex to list.

No, I think you get it wrong, I am not leaving this project

Sorry to get it wrong.
With its dev, BITZ looks reassuring and promising.

I'm glad that you're not abandoning it - an honest dev who sticks with his project makes this coin better than most of what's out there. I predict it will gradually earn trust and popularity for those who want to diversify their portfolios with a mostly undiscovered, mid-high staking % coin, as long as you stay moderately active (but don't burn yourself out!).

I've invested a little and am staking every day, for what it's worth  Smiley

Glad to hear, thank you for the support

Leave the project to it's own devices and start over, huh?  What do you mean start over?
I think it means "Start over on its own dev-abandoned state."
