I just bought 2 Prospero X-3 (2000Ghash/second) from Blackarrow (Delivery Apr 30)

I have tried to reach them countless times over the phone, email and ticket system and no luck. It's like I wired them my money and then I am being ignored. I fear that They are stealing my money because they aren't answering me after 2 weeks now.

Now I have asked them to cancel my order and they are completely ignoring me again!

I have a bad feeling they are a fake company trying to get in Orders and then disappear like Gypsy's!

What do you guys think? Huh

The were down before the announcement that they won't ship until May making the miners they were producing worth not-a-whole-helluva-lot. Sorry to those that have their stake in these miners.

I was very tempted to invest with them, but after they did a series of stupid things (hiring a random know-it-all pillock from their forums as a staff member, consistent stream of generalized excuses...which is still continuing to this day, as well as blatant refusal to acknowledge their lack of experience in customer support and accept good advice from others) I decided it would definitely not be worth the trouble. You can't expect miracles from people with hardly anything to show for their claims.

They've overestimated their own capabilities, and everyone else who invested with them is kicking themselves for doing the same. I wouldn't be surprised at this point if they simply disappeared come May.

Even if Black Arrow delivers in time, iits still 2 and a half months away.By that time bitcoin difficulty will increase so much that we wont earn coins anywhere close like we are calculating now.

wrong.   black arrow is due in 60 -75 days   5 or 6 diff adjustments.  do your math

 at 30%   you get this

    908 mill now
  1180 mill dec 22
 1535  mill  jan 4
 1995  mill  jan 16
 2594  mill   jan 28
 3372  mill  feb 9
 4384  mill  feb 21
[...]

Almost correct, but with a 30% increase in difficulty, the 2016 block period is shortened equally (to below 11 days; 14/1.3=10.77). Correct calculation for 30% difficulty increase:
Code:
date diff in mio. time frame for 2016 blocks
10 Dec 13 908 10,77
20 Dec 13 1.180   10,77
31 Dec 13 1.535   10,77
11 Jan 14 1.995   10,77
22 Jan 14 2.593   10,77
1 Feb 14 3.371   10,77
12 Feb 14 4.383   10,77
23 Feb 14 5.698   10,77
6 Mar 14 7.407   10,77

I expect the difficulty increase to slow down a bit. Currently there are roughly 6.5 PH/s running.
To boost that up to a difficulty of 7400 million until beginning of march, you need another 46 PH/s added to the Bitcoin network.
The total amount of PH/s (that is yet announced, but needs to be delivered) for 2014 is only a bit more than 20 PH/s.
Even with the late delivery that was announced for 2013 (and that may happen in early 2014) it can be doubted that the total network speed will reach more than 50 PH/s by beginning of march 2014.
But who knows...

The last retarget has come on Dec 21, not Dec 20, with nearly exact 30% increase (even slightly higher).. ;-)
But you're right, the time periods in the OP weren't correct either, they were even the same for different expected increase rates.

I see that Black Arrow are now selling cards using 16 Bitfury chips from stock at $999

Must have decided to sell off the farm boards shown in bobsag3's pictures.
No they got more BF chips

So it's now $1k for 40 Gh/s today, and $300 for 100 Gh/s in Feb (hopefully)... ;-)

Blackarrow will deliver the goods, on time. I will be selling my X-1's for a grand each when they arrive. They will sell out in 2 hours.

I purchased 10 shares of one from dZcoop so I will have about 400gh coming on line late feb.  this would be 1/5 of the machine

Its a real company with a proven trackrecond supplying FPGA miners. There is very little to no doubt their asic project is genuine. Whether or not they will be able to deliver what they promise when they promise,  is anyone's guess, but that goes for every other company out there.

What about the pricing,is it real?

Lol on this

Why the Lulz? Obviously a real company would have fake prices Wink

Friend at the MGM bitcoin conference said that the Hashfast Babyjet is officially real, and 400ghps.  There's a lot of this stuff coming online soon.  If you have equipment that is getting less than 1ghps per watt, I would really suggest you offload it to an enemy soon.   Tongue

Warning.

I suggest you all take a look at the Drillbit thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3898239

BlackArrow assembled the boards and look where we are today...having MAJOR issues requiring repair.  Beware.

Actually two post's down they state it wasnt the boards causing the issue's.....
