I disagree on this, Farmer still lose huge amount of money in the process besides they removed it already and what I’m trying to emphasized on my suggestion is to bring back the old reward amount on all of the contest. There’s no farmer anymore on the casino and it doesn’t make sense to lower the rewards now if all the players is just betting on the normal house edge. I spend 0.01BTC per week on the casino and I don’t received any good amount on the wagering contest because whales usually occupies the top spot while low spot has no reward unlike before.

They reduced the contest reward to provide additional budget on there free spin events since it’s already generous. They are changing there strategies based on it’s effect to the casino. I notice that many new players is active in the casino while many old players is not online anymore. I think the free spin is very effective on attracting new players to try the casino and possibly convert them to regular players while players on the mid range budget will obviously at disadvantage because the rewards is very limited now for the lower spot on the leaderboard just like what you said.

^^I can see why it would make sense if you have to wait before and during the weekends but that needs to be solved as well, this is a big enough place nowadays that they need to deposit to accounts in under 1 hour to make sure that they do not lose customers
